Both of my boys served in the IDF as did the majority of their friends and our friend's kids. I base my 'facts' on what these kids say. During basic training they were ALL literally brainwashed with the saying 'Israel does not target civilians'. Anyone who is familar at all with armies will know that they make alot of mistakes (just look at how many soldiers have died from friendly fire). Things can get awfully messed up during manuevers and daily arm life. I can only imagine what can happen during fighting.
