Strategically important iran is in it's neighborhood. No wonder the iranians have influence through out the mideast. Plus,you don't see other countries in that region,with this much value for big powers. Over the last 100 years,iran was an important reason of most events that took place in the Mideast. Or at the very least,they had the last say.

Israel DENIES the Armenian Genocide because Turkey is an important trade partner. So Look in the mirror instead of criticizing the Chinese. As far as I'm concerned, Israel is costing US an additional 35B a year in lost trade.

The Chinese govt wil play this hand until they can't. There are many countries that have entered into business arraingements with China that are feeling their testicles being squeezed. Their approached is similar to colonial activity in the early 20th century. This tree will not grow up to the sky. Much resentment is building in the developing world and China's policy of dumping cheap products into other economies will ultimately undo their own economic reality.

The Chinese are looking after their own interests. I'm sure the US and Israel do the same. It's only human to do so.
