"Russia intends to fulfill a contract to supply S-300 air defense missile systems to Iran" This is good news; it will be nice for Iran to have this defensive capability should Israel be stupid enough to attack Iran for no good reason. I dare say Hizbollah could do with this air defense missile system as well.

Russia had better brace for large-scale nuclear war, because that may well be the price of their actions.

it would seem that russian anti-aircraft systems (the first deliveries of iran's s-300 order, if i'm not mistaken) were used to protect a certain "unused military warehouse" in syria, in september, 2007. they work really great, except when used to protect nuclear facilities, and when the incoming jets have iaf markings. like the french, the russians will sell you their grandmothers - the only difference is, the russians will deliver!
