1. We should proudly terminate EVERY terrorist A.S.A.P.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.23.10)
It is ludicrous to allow a single known terrorist to live in peace. To do so guarantees more innocents will be maimed and murdered. We should proudly terminate EVERY terrorist as soon as possible. It is way past time to stop playing games.
2. Halutz still around?!!
Sami ,   Lebanon   (02.23.10)
3. #2. Yes, and not hiding in a hole in the ground.

4. Solving this conflict is NOT AT ALL complicated
Yaniv ,   Israel   (02.23.10)
If the Pals had the arsenal we have and we kept firing rockets at them and blowing us up in population centers, no doubt they would've annihilated us within 24 hours. In fact, when they did have more and better toys than us in 1948, they did try to wipe us out. Read Arab news archives and it says "push the Jews into the sea." It is ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that there is NO chance for us EVER to live in peace with the Pals. Our only option is to stop caring about what the world says and forcefully drive the Pals into Egypt and Jordan. Would they like to go peacefully, they could receive monetary help to start a new life, but they must go. The haters of Israel is not gonna hate us any more and those who love Israel is gonna ask us what took us so long. Then slowly the hate and anger will cool down and this will become a historical event and when the historians evaluate it, I have no doubt that they will say that it was any worse than the Turkish-Greek population exchange or 2 million German civilians who were forcefully thrown out of their homes in Czechoslovakia after WWII, which nobody said anything about. The old Jews of Israel are too stigmatized by being a victim, that even the thought of victimizing others is unthinkable. Sad, because I thought survival was more important.
5. capital punishment for terrorist murderers
desperate ,   Yerushalayim Yisrael   (02.23.10)
Okay, what about the ones sitting in our jails? Why don't we have a death penalty for them? Why don't our politicians bring it up? There would not have been an issue on whether to release them for Gilad if they were not alive, would there? Then there could have been an exchange without that issue. Let's hear your opinion!
6. Reverting to stereotype
n.d   (02.23.10)
The Mossad is too cheap to even pay the way of their own hit squads. The steal identities and take out credit on the stolen names. Identity theft is a major problem in this day and age. It appears that Israel is part of that problem. The more you study Israels activities, the more they look like a Mafia family.
7. the only deterrence it helped is Israelis'
observer   (02.23.10)
the enthusiastic olim had the deterrence of giving their passports for cooperation. At least 16 Israelis are deterred from traveling abroad after including their names on the lists on the Interpol.
8. Sarko says bla bla.Let him tell us about Mehdi ben Barka
Alan ,   SA   (02.23.10)
9. Halutz did you call bank to buy gold again before Dubai hit?
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (02.23.10)
Last time I remember you visited your bank to secure your financial assets just before Operation in Lebonan took place, and you were Chief of Staff.
10. #9 No!, collecting gold is usually just before the exodus
observer   (02.23.10)
11. #4 Yaniv. EXACTLY. "Palestinians" must go.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.23.10)
Yaniv, you are exactly right. We must stop the ludicrous "peace process" and pretend we are dealing with "peace partners". "Palestinians" are mortal foes as the Nazis were. We must drive them from our land once and for all. "Palestinians" must go.
12. To Yaniv @ 4 Don't worry we will get dispatched>>
James ,   ISRAEL   (02.23.10)
We will dispatched allone by one. In any case isn't it the norm to prove innocent before guilty. I mean about our Mossad. if indeed it was them I doubt they would have done it in such unprofessional way. However, who ever carried it out KUDOS to them.getting rid of one of the biggest Hamas bastard is good enough for me.Next in line should be Mashaal. But the coward knows and HIDES like frightened hyena in the bosom of the equally corrupt and Syria's CRUEL Assad.Or more than likely in Iran. This continuous story gives the likes of Hamas more publicity. Time to STOP IT. It hasbeen written ad-nauseam at all our Jewish medias/PAPERS. Enough.
13. Who's next?
Bob ,   Mechburg USA   (02.23.10)
Deterence, detersmurance, if you want real deterance, who's next?
14. #1 & 5 - The rules of engagement ARE SET
meir elazar   (02.23.10)
After Insane Traitor Olmert released too many terrorists the rules changed. In Dimona when the first suicide bomber blew himself up injuring the second bomber, the second bomber opened his shirt and reached to detonate his bomb. A quick reacting policeman saw this and immediately fired 4 bullets into the terrorist's head ending the threat. In the first Tractor terrorist attack in Jerusalem, a policewoman shot the terrorist twice but somehow the terrorist recovered enough to continue the attack until someone else shot and killed him. The lesson learned and when the second Tractor Terrorist attacked, someone put 11 bullets in the terrorist head making sure that there was NO chance of his surviving. This is very well known and accepted and should be standard operating practices in any terrorist attack - To immediately eliminate all threat to the public without any reservations or other considerations.
15. Yaniv, that would be the end of Israel forever and ever...
BBSNews ,   Charlotte, NC   (02.24.10)
Folks, Yaniv, and then Chaim and who knows who else here agreed to Yaniv's vile idea that follows: "Our only option is to stop caring about what the world says and forcefully drive the Pals into Egypt and Jordan. Would they like to go peacefully, they could receive monetary help to start a new life, but they must go" Folks, that is advocating the forced removal of millions, ethnic cleansing on a grand scale, and this would be in addition to the original 716,000 that Israel ethnically cleansed in the first place. This is the evil side of Israel. And talkbackers who do not tell these people to keep their evil intent to themselves and away from polite company are complicit in the idea that ethnic cleansing is acceptable. It's vile people. How can you accept this? Is this what Jews are about? A double standard, one for your people and to hell with all other people? I am appalled that there is no outcry against this type of evil idea. In no other society on the planet is it like this.
16. Quick is this a sign we should sell stock options
Avi ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
On August 15, 2006, it was revealed that Halutz sold off his investment portfolio three hours after two Israeli soldiers were captured by Hezbollah during the Zar'it-Shtula incident, leading to the war.
17. There will be no 'safe zones' for these groups
Cameron ,   USA   (02.24.10)
The point was made quite clear.
18. Not Ethnic Cleansing
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
#15, no name, it's not ethnic cleansing. What did they teach you in NC? It's getting rid of a hostile group that does not belong here in hostility. Their ethnicity is similar to many Jews, and Jews come from all over the world at this point. If Jews wanted to do ethnic cleansing, they would not have the Druzes in the army. This action of removing hostile Arabs should have been done a long time ago.
19. Halutz, "Ahmadinejad" isnt a country!!!
erusalem   (02.24.10)
"Every country, including Iran and Ahmadinejad, has something to lose, but not terrorist organizations. Every one of their leaders are at risk," Halutz said.
20. #15 Is that what you learned from the Beeb?
Yanib ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
"Yaniv, that would be the end of Israel forever and ever..." This was in your subject line, but you never furnished an argument for it, so until you do it will be considered by me as fear mongering. "Folks, that is advocating the forced removal of millions, ethnic cleansing on a grand scale," You can call it what you want, as a tactic to demonize, but yet you advocate the "ethnic cleansing" of Jews from Gaza and Judea and Samaria and perhaps even the Golan. "and this would be in addition to the original 716,000 that Israel ethnically cleansed in the first place." Arab news archives from that era states "push the Jews into the sea." And you will also find in those archives that Arab leaders urged the Pals to leave the land temporarily and could return as soon as the land had been judenrein. Palestine Post (now Jerusalem Post) plus the declaration of our independence both urged the Arabs to stay. This news was printed as a result of Jews waking up one morning in different parts of Israel and discover that all (what it seemed like in certain parts of Israel) the Arabs had vanished. They vanished out of harms way and were waiting for the Jews to be slaughtered. In fact, 60% of them fled without ever seeing an Israeli soldier. "I am appalled that there is no outcry against this type of evil idea." No, what's evil is your blind "religious" faith in the two-state solution, that is treated as a done deal, rather than a theory. They tried to wipe us out and they said no to the best possible peace offer in camp David 2000. How many chances do they get? "In no other society on the planet is it like this." Yeah? Then it shouldn't be a problem for you to name just ONE nation that has put up with what we have put up with and didn't do the same or worse. The Oslo accords and experimental two-state solution is EVIL, simply because the result thus far has been EVIL. Now, it's the Jewish nation that is the test subject. Before it was Jewish individuals that were the test subjects. The spirit of Dr. Mengele lives on.
21. #15 HAMAS Charter Declares a Fight til the Death of Either
Umm El Kul Naqba   (02.24.10)
Side. IT was the PALs who began the terror by slaughtering Jews with knives and axes in the 1920, 1929, and 1936 massacres. It was the Arabs who did not accept Partition and attacked Israel in its infancy and THEY LOST. They continued to wage more wars and lost the wars, lands and options. It was the PALs who started the hijackings of the 70's and the Munich Massacre and terror all over the globe. The PAL terrorists started 2 Intifadas, murders, kidnappings, launched 10000 rockets at Israeli civians/cities. The PALs did not accept any compromise or Peace plan. Finally, they raised the stakes by declaring in the HAMAS Charter that it is a fight to the finish - last man standing. They demand the destruction of Israel and Murder of ALL Jews/Israelis. They denounce ALL negotitations and declare that Jihad is the only way. They have left NO PEACEFUL options. Therefore we are left no choice but to play by the rules they wrote and either force them out or kill them. It is now only a matter of time until they make their fatal mistake. Incompetent Traitor Olmert will not be there to unconditionally surrender to the Terrorists after we are victorious. Bibi and Lieberman make a formidable govt who will finish the job once and for all. Each terrorist act has boomeranged and cost the terrorists dearly. They are running out of options and the next war will hopefully be the last one. (Milchama Ha'achrona - Yehoram Gaon)
22. To@ 21 Just a short reply:
James ,   ISRAEL   (02.24.10)
From beginning to the end you have put the correct analysis in every word wrtten within it. My analysis for what is worth: Oil and water DO NOT mix and never will. Best thing for us Israeli/Jews is a total separation from every Arab/Muslim and then maybe, just maybe we can live our life free from strife. It hasnow been over 61 +years since we returned TO Zion our homeland and still continuous unabated. How much longer we'll we have to apologize for our existence? I for one and my entire family have come to terms with the phenomenon of Arabs who think were here before us which is an absolutely unbelievable. Yes ,,thank G*D for Lieberman,Ayalon, and the rest of Netantahu's clique and hope they never, ever deviate from their PATH. Let us not forget out Gilad Shalit in this equation too. In hopes we will rescue him from the jaws of the filthy terrorist entity Hamas and ilk.
