31. #29 good questions
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (02.25.10)
Israelis agree that the Arabs who lived in Israel before the British occupation of 1917 should stay as equal citizens with equal rights in Israel and should keep their property. Israelis also agree that Arab immigrants (mostly from Egypt, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon) brought by the British to take over Israeli land should go back to their homelands. Israelis have already agreed to give up most of their homeland stolen by the British to set up "Jordan". Israelis would also agree to give up their property in Arab countries that was stolen since 1917 as an exchange to end this war. The problem is that the Arabs refuse any peace and insist on continuing their war of genocide against the Jews.

Palestinians are not the problem....they are the excuse....
33. #30 - "Pals" have 2 problems
William ,   Israel   (02.25.10)
You're right - the world doesn't care much about the "Pals" which is why they throw money at them without demanding any form of transparency. So far, this has only bred dependency and massive corruption. The "Pals" have two problems - 1) losing the right to return to their native Arab lands after being caught in the war of independence as illegal economic migrants, 2) being represented by terrorist groups and rabid racist Leftists, both of which have their own agenda apart from the average "Pal". I understand these people are now "State-less" and could have been ok had they followed their brethren and just accept citizenship in Israel rather than the racist agenda of destroying Jews and stealing their wealth. There can be a solution, but it must be without Hamas, Fatah, and any NGO. Just Israeli to "Palestinian" - between two peoples. I hear constantly from Arab leaders that "Allah is on our side" when they swear to destroy Israel but it's always failed. Saying that G-d is on Israel's side might sound pathetic, but it certainly seems correct through history.
34. the region's "FREE GOVERNMENTS"??????
(02.25.10)
free governments????? you say??? what free government in the region rules by fear, rapes of its citizens, jailing of its protestors and journalists or opposition, killing its women protestors and young students, supplying terror arms and terrorists all over the world, repressing, starving and humiliating its minorities???? you, a free government???? you should be ashamed to even consider any of thew region's governments are free. it is your illusion, ahmadinejad. all the region's regimes and yours included are despotic, police totalitarian states without a shred of freedom to speak of. yes, freedom for you to continue opression in any arab country, but zero freedom for your people for democracy and the ruth of who these regimes really are. freedom exists only in israel, the true democracy and civil nation in the middle east. the people in the arab and iran world could only dream of having the freedom that israel has. hameed aboughaze, iranian
35. Syria is on the defensive.
John ,   Dubai   (02.25.10)
I havent seen Syria start an attack in the past 60 years to occupy land, but ive seen Israel do, frequently. Whatever Bashar is saying can & will be said by any other brave country leader who has enemy on the gates 24/7. If Israel refuses to shake hands and sends planes over everywhere, and send threats, what should Syria do or say?? should it tell Iran: Hey we dont need your help!!?? However, what Najad said is Najads, and what Bashar said is completley different. The guy has made it clear Syria is facing an enemy and must DEFEND itself. Israel is holding a negotiation point called Golan, that must be used ASAP to reach Peace. As a Syrian I always wanted a peace agreement between these 2 countries, because its quite clear War will bring nothing, but death and destruction . Its technically pointless. And its very Clear: Peace with Syria today is like shaking hands with a Dozen arab countries at one go!
36. #29 - We achieved a few more years of existance to start wit
rebecca ,   Modiin   (02.25.10)
Every time Arabs attack Israel the intention is to wipe tiny Israel off the map. I dont know what Hesbala was thinking when they attacked our soldiers, but they sure got more than they bargained for. And since then Nasrala has been living like a rat in Hiding. The question should be what did we achieve by not finishing the job in the last war with Lebanon? Now there's the problem for us. And the same question applies to Gaza.
37. Persian shiite attempted egemony will fail
Joe ,   Canada   (02.25.10)
Among the dictatorial regimes, the theocratic subset can sometimes last longer than the average kind since it not only rests on violence & propaganda but also on support of the part of the endoctrinated uneducated populace. But like all dictatorships Iran's carry its inherent self destructive "genes". The fatal fate of Iran's regime is even more certain because of its aim of retrograding the country & the world to the Middle-Ages which is against the unstoppable trend toward progress. of humankind. There are no example in modern times of any dictatorship lasting very long be it that of Napoleon (one of the smarter ones, much smarter than Ahmadinejad), Hitler, Stalin... Iran's fanatics will only bring disaster to their country & to the few Arab countries or terrorist organizations which are its current allies. The future of Zionism is much more secure in spite of current threats than the future of the extreme theocratic Iran.

i think you should go back to the school room to learn a bit of history. please note. during 1947-48, 1967, 1973, SYRIA WAS THE ONE THAT ATTACKED ISRAEL, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. SYRIA MADE PACTS WITH EGYPT AND JORDAN AND DECIDED TO ATTACK ISRAEL WHEN IT WAS NOT EVEN PROVOKED, HOPING TO ELIMINATE ISRAEL THROUGH AGGRESSION. sharon offered the golan back to syria in a peace deal in the 90's. assad REFUSED!!!!! the father wanted part of the sea of galili so that he could syphun the lake's water from the israeli side. israel refused to give him that part since it never belonged to syria in the first place. syria could care less about the golan because it used it for bombarding israelis on the bottom every day of every year until 1973. what assad wants is the sea of galili so that he can steal the israeli main water supply and deprive israel of the water they are legally entitled to. this is the main problem, not the golan itself. have you see the golan lately??? while syria used it for aggression for years and years to bomberd israeli farms below golan, the jews, once the golan was annexed made it into a fertile ground, full of lives, and industry...not a bunker system like syria did to destroy the jews below. get your history straight here, john! you are incencese! 39. Funny
Joseph ,   Miami, Usa   (02.25.10)
It is unbelievable how such a "small and insignificant nation" like Israel would demand so much attention from "great leader" like Ahmandinejad. This comes from a man who creates alliances and friends because of mutual enemies? Why would anyone in the world like to work with people like this? Threatening to destroy countries???? we dont live in a moment in time where people can just be eliminated. It is funny how such a "powerful Leader" would continue such ignorant rhetoric....
40. Persian Hitler thinks he can defeat Israel....

Lebanese ,   Lebanon   (02.25.10)
Hope you post my comment again and thank you in advance. Well i was born in 1970, Palestinians came to lebanon because of israel, we even had civil war with palestinians in my area. So israel is the cause of existance of all these palestians in lebanon, because they were forced to come to lebanon by israel. As a lebanese , we should not accept to handle all these palestinians on our land just to please israel. to # 39: nice to be logical, nasrallah was always hiding and this is nothing new and israel didnt force him to do that, second anyone will hide if he is threatned to be assasinated.

Israel offered teh Palestinian Arabs their state when they accepted the Clinton Parameters at Camp David. Please read the book Thje MIssing Peace by Denniss Ross. The world cares about Palestinians (both Arab and Jewish Palestinians) as well as Armenians. Here in the USA (I live in Bayside NY where many Armenians are my neighbors) our Jewsih congressman Gary Ackgerman is a strong supporter of Armenian causes. However first of all the Arabs should show that they want to live side by side with a Jewish state called Israel. After all Israel made peace with Egypt by giving back oil rich Sinai, why shouldn't it give back teh mostly desert barren WB, for real and lasting peace? Have a kumpir at Ortakoy for me overlooking the beautiful Bosphorus and good night.

I see even you love the Palestinians :-). The truth is that no arab country wants or likes the Palestinians but they hate Israel so much (out of jealousy?) that they cling to the Palestinian excuse and keep it alive only to use as an excuse. Your life in Lebanon, even if you get rid of the Palis, is no heaven. You had a good country, "The Pearl of the Mediterranean" it was known as but you went and sold your sould to the devil. You would have been MUCH BETTER OFF with Israel as a friend. Ishtacom ishat kilab. Al salaam alek.

In my Humble Opinion the Armenian bill will go all the way but stopped by president Obama. But I may be wrong. Israel is not as eager as the past years to get strongly involved in it and AKP is not asking the Turkish Jews for help. (If there was any efforts like that I would have heard it ) The current Turkish government is a little bit too confident about themselves then they should be. By supporting Iran they may be creating a Frankenstein that might one day marginalize Turkey in the region. Before I close my post if you ever stop at Beyti in Florya enjoy the tasty doner and my favorite kuzu pirzola and remember me.
