1. This is getting pathetic
The Dude   (02.27.10)
"Own up or Deny!" I thought he had incontrovertible evidence of the Mossad hit? I thought they had the identities of 26 hitmen. Which if considering the reports of the Imad Mughniyeh hit only used a team of about 2-4 people for a far more dangerous target... makes this seem more like groping in the dark than actual detective work.... And if he has DNA evidence why does he need a statement from the Mossad? Unless the DNA evidence just shows that the person was in the hotel, which would make it worthless in court, unless they connect the DNA evidence to atleast the persons room and the room where the assassination happened or to a murder weapon or to something. This is just getting ridiculous, it reminds me of a scientists who 'thinks' they discovered something and then in middle of blurting out they realize they don't even remotely have the proper evidence. But instead of admitting they are wrong, they just keep grasping at all straws and anything to keep from being outed... Let me guess, after this, he will also state that the 24 assassins who didn't escape to Iran went to Mecca to escape...
2. Dubai: confess to being a front for Iran
or deny it   (02.27.10)
3. Prove your case Police Chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim or shut up!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.27.10)
Prove your allegations with proof that will stand up in a proper court of law and not in the court of Israel Bashing! I am surprised that Dubai has not blamed Israel for the leak in their shark tank as it appears that Israel and the Jews are responsible for every mishap on this planet. Sort of reminds us of Germany in the 1930's!
4. Dubai!Confess to World that U knewU bankrupt and invited all
Alan ,   SA   (02.27.10)
financial institutions to invest in the already bankrupt city . That is one of the biggest frauds in history.
5. No country has any proof so they call for "CONFESSIONS"
(02.27.10)
6. this should be interesting
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (02.27.10)
we might have some apologies issued soon (right, yaniv?).
7. Dubai police chief
Fabio ,   Rome, Italy   (02.27.10)
I think Dubai police chief has nothing in his hands. The more he talks the less he has evidences.
8. Oz passport
Oscar ,   Australia   (02.27.10)
I dont care about killing or not but its so idiotic to use friendly nations forged passports. The one who will suffer due to it will be no other than, normal EU and Oz passport holders all over the world. Its not just dubai, its UK, Australia, Austria, France & others have got the factual dossier and now coming down on Israel's role. Dubai and Iran -- How close or oppose each other, you truly need to know middle east that they are allies or work against each other. Its simply about sovereignty of EU and Oz passports and Dubai itself.
9. POLICE ACADEMY 8: THE DUBAI EDITION
Scott ,   Sunshine Coast ,Aust   (02.27.10)
A complete and utter farce.
10. Top 'o the World, Ma!!!
Gideon Reader   (02.27.10)
OK. Ya' got me Officer. It's a fair cop. Youse done found me out. I confess. I did it. In the dark of the moon, I crept up with a vile vial of brew, and when Mabhouboo was beguiled and unawares, drew the dagger from my belt and fired five shots with it, wrapping my silk bernoose round the rugged rock's throat and jumped up and down on his steaming corpse(or Corps if you are an ignorant US Prezident). And OJ, facilitated the whole thing. And I used Hillary Clinton passport. There. I feel much better, now.
11. NO NOT AGAIN THIS GUY
Nimrod ,   Baghdad-Iraq   (02.27.10)
I think this casbah dude wants a promotion, stop whining your story is boring and old news, get over it and No you are No sherlock Holmes and you won't achieve anything but ridicule give it up already.
12. what happened to....
(02.27.10)
what happened to all that prove against mossad he said they had? no? none? need the mossad to "own up"? ))
13. Yes, check the passports of all Jews.
Arn ,   Yehud   (02.27.10)
Yes, check all Jews to see that they are not Mossad agents. By the same token, specifically check the passports (and perform a brain scan) on each and every Arab and Muslim entering any Western country to make sure these people aren't agents of al-Quida, Hizbollah, Hamas or any of the other bloodthirsty jihadist terrorist groups.Don't wait for the Mossad to correct your failures.
14. The Keystone Cops could do a better job than the Dubai Polic
Essie HaKohane ,   Plantation, FL   (02.27.10)
15. Yawwwwwn
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.27.10)
This is about as interesting as watching curling. Do you suppose there's a way to work in Dubai officials as an Olympic sport? DNA, huh? In Dubai, that stands for "Don't kNow Anything." (Sorry, folks. That was weak, but I couldn't help myself.)
16. Also u hav 2 prove IRAN making Bomb
Firoz ,   IN   (02.27.10)
Same rule should be applied at everywher. When ur country blame that IRAQ /Saddam having Massing Killing weapons have u asked to prove it? Have u asked prove that IRAN having neuclear bomb? This is a clear hipocricy by West towards East.
17. Tamim, the self-appointed espionage expert.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (02.27.10)
Tamim has appointed himself the expert on espionage and assassinations. He now dispenses free advice on what to do, to other countries. He is now begging Israel to confirm his suspicions so he would not look bad. He should worry about loosing his job because the bottom line is he failed in securing his terrorist visitor and showed up his country for what it is - a haven for terrorists, weapons smugglers, drug dealers, and all manner of shady characters. That makes Dubai an excellent training ground for trainee spies with plenty live targets walking around.
18. Born of Europe
William ,   Israel   (02.27.10)
Israel is a product of Europe, a child of Europe, and with all the apartheid attitudes that implies. Even though Israel is popular in America among the more cosmopolitan groups of the two coasts, and although the evangelicals revere the people whose covenant with God is regarded as real, it is necessary to sell Israel to them as besieged by Muslim enemies in order to overcome the presumption that apartheid (Jim Crow) is wrong, as Americans have been taught since the Civil Rights era. With Europeans, doing anti-Muslim attacks is not a difficult problem, since they are seething within that they are not as white as they used to be. As for the Muslims, it is hard for any culture to tolerate another one, when brought over whole and seemingly unchangeable. Also, there really have been some attacks by Muslims disgruntled with the situation in the midEast. I doubt that Pakistanis of Britain got jihad ideas when they first arrived. But prejudice and incompatibility of cultures have a way of twisting peoples' attitudes. The present is a nervous-making time, and little of a positive nature is being actively pursued while the wars for oil go on. Yes, for oil which is limited and on which our global culture depends. If Buddhists lived in the center of the oil patch, they'd be singled out as bad guys. It would all seem so natural to go after them too. The US once regarded Asians as "the yellow peril."
19. Check all Jews? And I thought Israel was a racist state.
Cynic ,   USA   (02.27.10)
20. Either show us the evidence or shut your fat mouth!
Cynic ,   USA   (02.27.10)
21. Actually DNA shows Tamim and Mabhouh were lovers
Gotcha   (02.27.10)
22. Keystone cops...
Sean ,   Montreal   (02.27.10)
..versus salivating sociopaths. What is with all this pleasure at thinking a killing has taken place and the culprits may have done it with impunity? What is wrong in asking someone to deny involvement? Seems quite simple: Israel has a proven record of ignoring the laws of those nations with whom it has diplomatic relations by either stealing or forging passports. The cheerleading squad in Israel and throughout the diaspora have been singing the praises of Mossad for some time now as though committing murder in a foreign country were some sort of Olympic sport. We neither "acknowledge nor deny" does nothing to diffuse a volatile situation and is an impediment to justice. This recurring pattern of disregard for the laws of others will eventually come back to haunt the nation of Israel.

every single day. Go ask it to put up or shut up before its hanging from the highest tree at the top of the tallest mountain overlooking Tehran.
24. Posters here talking through their...
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (02.27.10)
To all commentators that think that mossad can save us, I say,you will never get it because you are missing an important knowledge of how Judaism works. Hashem has designed his world by the goyim that whoever is a bigger stronger army will win but with the yidden its different. In out whole history we didn't win because we were big or strong. When we won it was with miracles and only with permission of hashem to fight. When we are in gulos we have no right to fight and it only angers hashem that we don't put our trust in him and we try to be like all the goyim. That's why the ultimate geulah is not here yet.
25. He is right, about a million jewish in bed with mossad
Teve ,   US   (02.27.10)
26. Clever boy, this Khalfan!
Raphael ,   Netanya   (02.27.10)
He "urges Arab states to thoroughly check Jews carrying non-Israeli passports". How is it possible to single out a Jew ? Their name is not always Cohen or Levi, they are not all fitted out with the big nose appearing on arab cartoons, do not systematically wear peyot and schtreimel. So, to comply with our arab friends' request, it will be necessary to wear a yellow star, an invention of Kaliph Haroon al Rasheed which was enthusiastically adopted by the Christians. Or will the eurabian authorities, like Germans before WW2, put a large "J" on ID cards or passports? Of course, only Israel is an apartheid country.
27. #3,9 many has he in his pocket
observer   (02.27.10)
those have been the ones which were subjected to analysis, but still there is plenty of threads waiting for. The charm of the whole issue lies in that trickling of evidences.
28. Last week we were told how great the Dubai police were
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.27.10)
Heck they use 'DNA' to find criminals, etc. Ignoring the fact that last year Israeli scientists proved that DNA evidence can in fact be fabricated. The only proof that has been shown to date is 4 'Palestinians' and 3 more people that fled to Iran. How about one iota of proof or real evidence that we had anything at all to do with it. Meantime let's investigate Dubai for allowing wanted terrorists to travel in their lands without any problems.
29. to 22 id does plenty
(02.27.10)
"neither acknowledge nor deny" has plenty of effect on terrorists, who have to watch their every step and hide in dark holes, where they belong. do you thing, other country's agents have different way of entering foreign countries on a mission?
30. Chief Khalfan Tamim's best bet
A. Fox ,   Apple Hill, Ontario   (02.27.10)
The Dubai Police chief Mr. Tamim would provide some credibility for his force and actions if he would symultaneousdly investigate what Mabouh was doing in Dubai and why the Dubai police did not apprehend this known terrorist when he entered the country.
