sometimes I think that the myosoginists who are religious are creating all this separation because they are raving homosexuals! But what I want to know is why my municipal tax shekel is paying for this concert!
3. Disgusting,

intolerable and once again I have to repeat myself, the religious fanatics in this country will be the eventual downfall of our Nation. I am so certain about this. The writing is on the wall.
4. Amazing

After your last article regarding the women's tour, failed to upset enough readers, YNet are trying again! So what??? As I told you last time - I worked for a totally non-Jewish international marketing company many years ago and we often had events catering to only one segment of the employees. Nobody complained to Ynet about it!
5. Gender segregation = G-d's command

such an issue (buses, streets, etc.)? I grew up in a neighborhood where there were a lot of Jewish families. My best friend when I was a girl was a Jewish girl from an Orthodox home. We did lots of things together and one of them was to take part in activities at the local JCC (Jewish Community Center). This was back in the 1960's. I don't ever recall an issue with gender segregation anywhere. It was never an issue for my friend and her family. The only gender segregation I was aware of was special classes, in the JCC, for boys who were going to be Bar Mitzvahed. Is strict gender segregation (on the bus, street, concerts, etc.) a relatively new, and expanding, phenomenon? I understand that all Orthodox aren't Haredi. But, even among some non-Haredi Orthodox there seems to be a trend to segregate the sexes when they weren't segregated in the 1960's.

Did you see the headline "Are Turkish Jews being mistreated"? Perhaps it should read "Are Jerusalem's Jews being mistreated?"

Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (03.03.10)
The Haredi are not a "market segment" and it is remarkably disingenuous of you to try to hide beind marketing terms. The Haredi are part of a small segment of Orthodox Judaism that is trying to make itself larger and take over by obstructionist tactics and political behavior, and I for one take extreme exception to their stances regarding men's lust being the basis for most of religious Israel's problems. The Haredim and their narrow holy roller views are the problem.
11. Send them to......
Palestine   (03.04.10)
Send the mayor and his supporters to Gaza, and let them see first hand how this road that they so enthusiastically follow will lead to. If they like it, they can stay, and i am only talking about myself here, they will not be missed !!!!
