Broadening Dubai murder investigation sees INTERPOL join international task force as it issues 16 additional Red Notices 08 March 2010 LYON, France – INTERPOL is to join a Dubai-based international task force investigating the murder of Palestinian national and Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh on 19 January 2010. At the request of UAE/Dubai authorities, the world police body has also issued a further 16 Red Notices to assist in the arrest of additional suspects now linked to the murder of Al-Mabhouh, bringing the total to 27. The creation of the task force and the publication of the new Red Notices came as investigative information provided by the authorities in Dubai bore out the international links and broad scope of the number of people involved, as well as the role of two ‘teams’ of individuals identified by the Dubai police as being linked to Al-Mabhouh’s murder.

LEGALLY murder is murder, and it has to be investigated. ETHICALLY, after he admitted double-murder, illegal weapon deals, both confirmed by many (eye-)witnesses, the death sentence without a trial was very appropriate in most peoples opinion. i dont know about the procedure of having "red notices" submitted, but obviously "hard evidence" is not necessary. INTERPOL might just trust police forces. maybe this time, this trust was abused...

Interpol website, there were a total of five women, four of whom may have played the part of the "femme fatale", the professional escort who lured Mabhouh back to his hotel room and to his death. Of course, photographs do not tell the whole story but at least one of the four would have been attractive (sexy) enough to have been the "bait". A " normal law enforcement " organization would not waste time, money in the pursuit of a " bumped-off " killer's executioners. Am I missing something? I'm given to believe that Mabhouh died on 20/1/10. I cannot make out much from the travel routes given here because the diagram is too small and indistinct.But the larger diagram that I've found on the internet shows all the suspects as having left Dubai by the end of November 2009,two months previous,some much earlier. Cannot see how they could be involved in Mabhouh's final demise. This is really confusing me.Can someone elucidate? THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

Hey bud, long time. Good to read your post. Interpole has an interesting history in regards to WW2. They were taken over by the Nazi govt and used to track their enemies and hunt down jews and others. Interpol was also instrumental in helping the Vatican ratline that protected fugitive Nazis on their way out of Europe. Nice to know that they are helping to find the killers of a murdering gangster.
