Israel to allow UN chief to visit Gaza Strip    Roni Sofer
1. Has he heard about the...
Has he heard about the battles took place in Africa today? Has he done anything about it? Instead of coming here and tell us how to treat with the murderers of the Hamas organization, he should should have gone to Africa. I know: there is no oil there, but there is a lot of things to there.

2. Just in time to bring Hamas back
Reports have been flying around lately that Hamas is loosing control of Gaza. Ashton must have read about it and wants to help them stay in power.

3. Whole EU thinks nothing of her.She is on her way out of job
Not expected to last long .She earns more than about £300 000 per anum .(Total package )-Its about £299 000 more than she is worth . Nobody ever heard of her before. She was some kind of UK minor Labour Party politician. Miliband didnt want the EU Foreign Minister Job.Probably wanted to be close to the Centre of Power if PM Brown has to relinquish his role.He has about as much chance as the man in the moon of becoming PM. She will make all the customary noises about the plight of the Gazans when she gets there .

8. They should let Sec. Gen. "cock-im-oon" in, but...
they shouldn't let him out. He should be left in there to rot with the oh-so 'peaceful, tolerant' people.

9. Let BAN out again only together wit Shalit !
Otherwise keep the hypocritical and anti-Israeli Ban together with his friends in Gaza ! If I were Shalits father , I would long ago have removed the gloves - Shalits captivity is primarely a shame for the international hypocritical and antisemitic community - but its a shame for the IDF too : if you can get out a planeload of people from Entebbe, you can certainly get one man out of your neighbourhood ! Well - if you want so ! There I have my doubts : maybe Shalit is of greater use in captivity than free ! Did the heroes die out with Joni ? No heroes left in Israel to bring Gilad Shalit home ? To those in power in Israel : If you leave Shalit behind, maybe one day one of your loved ones will be left behind - against your will - so you better do the right thing fast !

10. Another rhetorical "inquiry" into the "situation" in Gaza.
Everything is written already (and surely approved & paid for by the OIC, the balance to be paid when he arrives for the conference in Libya the following week). They just need to make the visit so they can "confirm" the fine details.

13. Palestinians are suffering in the Gaza Strip as a result ...
Palestinians are suffering in the Gaza Strip as a result of Hamas being in power. But anyone who asserts that people are starving to death in the territory needs to offer proof. There is ample evidence to demonstrate that humanitarian goods have flowed steadily into the Gaza Strip since the fighting came to an end in January. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains a website detailing the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. This site reports that as of June 26, 2009, “about 376,148 tons of aid and over 47.878 million liters of fuel have been delivered to the Gaza Strip” since the end of fighting in the Gaza Strip on Jan. 18, 2009. The weekly summaries of goods allowed into Gaza include thousands of tons of food and medical supplies, along with substantial amounts of fuel. More at : http://xrl.us/beifk5

15. UN officials can always enter Gaza from Egypt!!! After all,
Egypt, an Arab country, shares a border with Gaza, while Israel, a none Arab state, has extricated itself from the Strip a few years ago and owe nothing to it, not even open borders, especially as long as an Israeli captive there since 2006 has not seen neither UN nor Red Cross personnel against all laws and codes of decency.

16. Did you see? "Israel" still occupies Gaza
But you say that "Israel" does not occupy Gaza, so what Israel's relationship to give permission for Mr. Ban or the other to visit Gaza ?!
Salma ,   Palestine   (03.09.10)
17. Salma-They control 2 sides of border. Egypt 1 side.
