1. Why not publicize these things?
Andrew ,   USA   (03.11.10)
If Haniya has a $4 million dollar house, why not publicize this? It's not like the opportunity has been lost. The houses are still there. Let the world see how enlightened Hamas is.
2. CHAT ROOMS HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS
.......DACON9   (03.11.10)
WHY NOT POLITICIANS? BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID? OF WHAT?
3. no not PR failure. EU would have found excuse they know what

colin   (03.12.10)
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO ???Salaries says hamas. Someone must upkeep the humanterian aid to the family's.The bank accounts in Switszerland are filling up and the shorage of food for the babies is human tragedy.Blame the Israeli bockade and the UN together with EU will supply a few more millions. Who needs oil wells . ?? The biggest sprouter is EU followed By UN WHAT A SHAME. Europe where are your tax euros??????
7. Western Taxpayer should know !
Ron B. ,   Lod   (03.12.10)
Since the Oslo Accords, the PA received some $14 billion to 20 billion in international aid, according to a 2007 Funding for Peace coalition (FPC) report to the British Parliament. Each Palestinian received $4.000 to $8.000 per year. The PA received “the highest per capita aid transfer in the history of foreign aid anywhere”, according to former World Bank country director for Gaza and the West Bank, Nigel Roberts. Not surprisingly, hundreds of thousands of Gazans spent more than $300 million in less than two week shopping spree, after Hamas blew up the border with Egypt.Yet the Palestinian economy is in ruins. 8. None of your business!
European   (03.12.10)
Your only business is destruction. The EU is picking up the price tab of rebuilding Gaza and does not need your permission to give money to whomever it wishes.
9. #8
Alfie Knowkes ,   Golan   (03.12.10)
Not even the slightest bit curious? Richard Reede (sp?) shoe bomber, trained in Gaza, the IRA and Basque seperatists ETA trained together with the Palestinians, Baider Meinhoff also had connections. Yup, I guess the EU picks up the tab from time to time.
10. What! Palestinian land is for Jews only!
Jongo ,   Australia   (03.13.10)
Hoe duplicitous is this article. Israel announces another units for 1600 in Palestinian East Jerusalem and has been helping itself for years to Palestinian land in the West Bank for rampant ugly housing estates. After destroying thousands of homes in Gaza Israel is complaining about a plan for a modest housing project by Palestinians ON THEIR OWN LAND. Its no wonder Israel is losing its last remaining remnant of friends. Keep up the loony right wing fringe talk and soon you'll have to go it alone without your huge wad of US annual donations.
11. Why not quote from the Tel Aviv Yoyo Society
Jongo ,   Australia   (03.13.10)
"Since the Oslo Accords, the PA received some $14 billion to 20 billion in international aid, according to a 2007 Funding for Peace coalition (FPC)" Who are the Funding For Peace Coalition? Based on their website they're yet another bunch of obsessed Zionists with no credibility who've given themselves a fancy name in the hope that someone might mistake their baseless propaganda for actual information. If you want to quote why not use an organisation that people actually know.
12. That's only $2 per Arab Israeli
Jongo ,   Australia   (03.13.10)
$2 million? That's a miniscule amount of the taxes Israeli Arabs pay. Maybe more of these taxes should actually be put to use in the communities who pay them.
13. #1 Avi Trengo is engaged in cheap hasbara
Ben Alofs ,   Bangor, UK   (03.13.10)
Ismayil Haniye was born in Shati refugee camp. His family was expelled from Majdal (present day Ashkelon) just across the border. In 1950, after the war had ended, the Palestinians of Majdal, who were living behind barbed wire, were put on trucks by Israeli soldiers and dumped in the Gaza Strip, Haniye was born in 1963 in Shati (Beach camp). He still lives there in humble circumstances! He does not own a 4 million dollar house. It is a cheap lie, Trengo.
14. Don't Forget Gilad Shalit
Dan   (03.14.10)
Maybe there is a way for Israel to tie all monetary funds into Gaza on Gilad Shalit's safe and sound return to his Mother and Father. The people in Gaza have never protested the horrible crime of his kidnapping. Until the Gazans protest his abduction they should be considered as if they approve of it.
