The US needs to be taught a tough lesson. Israel is not a vassal state. The US has more often than not let Israel down in the past, always criticizing Israel during and after each war, as a result the arabs were not defeated as they should have been. And our American Jewish left-wing democratic 'friends' always contributed to this. Time has come to show both that Israel is an independant state and has its own interests to look after. For sure the USA would never ever help Israel in case of an existential threat because they clearly do not like a powerful Israel since this might harm oil supplies in the long run for the US or their cronies in the far east.

I am a neutral observer from India, so no prejudices here. USA is the last line of defence (militarily and diplomatically) for Israel. Israelis and the Israeli supporters all over the world (especially USA) believe it or not. If not for USA, Israel would have been hauled to the International Court of Justice many a times.
