Part of what you say is true but as one who was in the Yom Kippur war and saw both the US and Europe withhold supplies I can't agree totally.The US finally sent supplies but after Kissinger said let the Israelis Bleed I can't trust the US totally. In the end any peace process is dependent on how much the Israeli public trusts the guarantees of the agreement. If US is seen as hostile by the Israeli public then the process will slow down even more.

Israel shouldn't feel too bad. Biden's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He's kind of an American 'chia-pet' VP.
