Netanyahu.Have you no red lines. Do y ou not understand you have given in again and again and what do you get for it.Realize nothing will stop Obama from attempting to harm iSRAEL. Now is your moment of choice do you have a redline or will we be pushed into the sea.
2. Jewish Building in Jerusalem
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim,   (03.14.10)
B"H Jews announcing building in Jerusalem or anywhere else can under no circumstances be termed as a "mishap". It is the very purpose of a Jewish state on the Jewish Land for the Jewish people! See also http://thetorahrevolution.blogspot.com/2010/03/bidens-passover-blood-libel.html
3. Ambassador Oren
Moshe ,   LA   (03.14.10)
Ambasador Oren should be asked to resign, he has humiliated the Jewish state and the Jewish people.
4. Tempest in a teapot.....
Shalom ,   Fort Lee,U.S.A.   (03.14.10)
Finally the most antisemitic administration has found a a pretext to create a "crisis". It's going to be difficult for Israel the remaining three years but it will survive. In the meantime this President and his minions will do their best to destroy their own country!
5. Temple Mount
John Peacher ,   Martinsburg USA   (03.14.10)
Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu, I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the Temple Mount. As you know, the Temple Mount is the holiest site in the world for the Jewish people, yet the Muslim authorities, aided by Israel Police, systematically deny the right of religious expression on the Mount to all non-Moslems. On numerous occasions the High Court of Justice has upheld the Jewish people’s right to pray at the site, yet the police continue to prevent this. Furthermore, Jewish visitors are harassed and degraded. This discrimination is a grave trampling of civil rights. Israeli law is not recognized by the Wakf authorities; illegal digging has destroyed priceless historicalremnants of Jerusalem’s Jewish history. A great mistake was made after the Six Day War when, after 2000 years, Jerusalem again, as promised by God, came into Jewish hands. It is high time to remedy this grave error. As difficult as this may sound and as impossible as it may seem in the present political environment, your government is NOT REQUIRED to follow American or European dictates. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is well capable to replace any aid or assistance that could possibly be removed from Western nations. I would go so far as to say that the Americans and Europeans in short order would be coming to Israel for assistance! Men are liars; God is not! Please, end this travesty and allow Jewish freedom of expression at the Temple Mount. I urge you include the Temple Mount in your “Heritage Plan” of sites significant to the Jewish people.
6. Go USA Go!
Paul ,   Florida   (03.14.10)
No one is stupid enough to believe it was a "mishap". It was a deliberate slap in the face to the US. Incompetent politicians normally pay dearly for "mishaps". In Israel, "mishaps" are official policy.
7. Mossad Failed
Mark of Lewiston ,   Lewiston USA   (03.14.10)
Mossad failed to tell the Israeli government that Hillary and Obama had spines after all. And that Obama and Biden just might not appreciate having over a year's worth of diplomatic effort to get the Palestinians back to the table trashed. And Nobody in the current US government thought Israel making an example for Iran and North Korea on how to treat the United States government was a good idea. So now, Bibi's going to form a circular firing squad and hope he's not hit.
8. Apartments in J-lem, Nukes in Tehran
Adam   (03.14.10)
I hope American voters are paying attention to what Obama is more concerned with.
9. US of A
Daniel Freedman ,   Cleveland   (03.14.10)
G-d Damb the United States Government. Who the hell do they think they are, arrogant bastards
10. Demanding of Jews, because they are Jewish, to refrain from
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (03.14.10)
residing anywhere on earth, be it in Washington, DC, Ottawa, London or Jerusalem is a form of racism. In this case it is not anti-Black racism; it is not anti-Roma racism; it is rather anti-Jewish racism. Sadly, "progressive" Obama, served by "liberal" Clinton have been engaged in precisely this activity...!!
11. Obama is a mortal danger to Israel
New Yorker   (03.14.10)
12. this is what happens when the dog disobey its master
Joy ,   NY   (03.14.10)
lets hope your government learned a good lesson from this.
13. Israel has lost it's self respect
chaim.s ,   brooklyn ny   (03.14.10)
Someone should get up and tell Hussein Obama,to mind his own business,he was elected to be president of the U.S and not Israel,it is enough that this muslim jihadist will destroy his own country ,but he has no right to drag down Israel with him
14. Amalek's Foreign Policy
Ari ,   Canada   (03.14.10)
This is a foreign policy typical of Ahasuerus and Haman. The tragedy of Purim is that the Jews became part of the Persian empire and allies with it. The Amalekites deserved the punishment they got, but not with any ally. The tragedy of Purim is what happens when God disappears. Israel becomes too close to the Imperial Superpower, leading to the greatest of tragedies. 50 years of Israeli foreign policy have been a sad and sorrowful mistake.
15. US goes beyond displeasure, shows itself to be a bully
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.14.10)
We've seen under Obama that long time friends and allies can be treated like dirt while enemies' every transgression is overlooked. Only the latter are "engaged". The US' Arab "allies" have given us nothing, turned aside every entreaty. The Palestinians have become ever more intransigent. Israel "embarrasses " the US, and gets a treatment one expects from a bully. Israel is being treated like a doormat, and by not fighting back they're only inviting more abuse. Netanyahu needs to "man up".
16. "fanned by ... the fury of President Obama himself"
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.14.10)
"... the crisis holds "strategic significance" and is being fanned by senior US officials and by the fury of President Barack Obama himself." Obama is letting his inexperience, bigotry and ideological proclivities get the better of him. Right now he's channeling Davis, Khalidi and Wright. He's apparently got no problem with Venezuela conspiring with Iran, Iran building nuclear weapons, or North Korea firing off missiles, or Pakistan doing deals with the Taliban. Nor any problem with Syria allowing jihadists to enter Iraq to target Americans. Nor the intransigence of Arab "allies" or Palestinians to support the US' peace efforts. But let those dastardly Jews considering adding a few apartment blocks into Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem and we've got a major international crisis. And this after Israel has made clear the freeze does NOT apply to Jerusalem! Obama is this generation's ugly American. I'm ashamed to call him my president.

18. Time for moses of old to step up to the plate
Galut ,   Selah   (03.14.10)
it would be interesting to see how he would address this......
19. It would be a good time
Jane   (03.14.10)
for Dr. Oren to give the clueless American administration a history lesson regarding the realities of the region in general and the Israeli-Palestinian dispute specifically. The lessons that Obama got from Rashid Khalidi apparently skewed his thinking. As for Hillary and George Mitchell, well what can one say.
20. I like this mishap!
Sami ,   Lebanon   (03.14.10)
Mishap?!! Oh yeah believable ..Netanyahu didn’t know about the decision nor the timing of the building .Who Mr. Netanyahu is trying to fool. “it appeared the PM has underestimated the extent of the disagreement with the US Administration.” “he expected the latest row to end following an apology”……Funny … apology !!! Israel is definitely governed by personal from the last Century. PM is fooling himself and his extremist fans no doubt. Hello ..the world has changed.. get real What? New committee? for old lies!! won’t work … Wondering if Mr. Ambassador was sit in the same level chair as the Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg was sitting on this time.. Article does not mention, but I assume American still have some sense of self-respect and won’t do it.
21. Scolded, Summoned, Admonished, Nobody should take it.
JMK ,   NYC   (03.14.10)
This is how one talks to and about a a slave. Nothing is worth it, not a job or money or a client nothing.
22. Enough with the apologies
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (03.14.10)

Ilana   (03.14.10)
catering to the evil side. What have the Palestinians done to nurture confidence? And Jerusalem is ours.
24. End the stupid occupation
Citizen   (03.14.10)
The price has became unbearable, seriously damaging our international relations that we so depend on. For Israel's sake get out, East-Jerusalem isn't even Jewish and not worth it.
25. Can't talk and walk different ways
Chaim   (03.14.10)
Israel's credibility has reached rock bottom. There is a tremendous gap between Israel's officially stated policies (2-state solution) and actions on the ground, so big that the whole of Israel can sink into it.
26. Obama is no friend of Israel and the Jewish people.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (03.14.10)
After President Barack Obama met for the first time with leaders of selected Jewish organizations and leaks from the meeting make one thing very clear. The only free country in the Middle East no longer has a friend in the leader of the free world. Obama is the most hostile sitting American president in the history of the state of Israel. Is Obama a hostile president or is he naive and mistaken ? The answer at : http://xrl.us/be5tt2
27. The long-standing friendship between Israel and America.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (03.14.10)
As everybody knows in their personal lives, it is always dangerous to court new friends if you risk doing it at the expense of old friends, in this case the long-standing friendship between Israel and America. Israel cannot yield its essential security for inspiring rhetoric. But it must calmly and resolutely do what it can to have the United States remain its closest ally. By the same token, the United States must respond to the fundamental needs of Israel and its government, mainly in the security field. The friendship of the U.S. : http://xrl.us/bewv97
28. Do NOT apologize
Jacob Aviv   (03.14.10)
Oren, do Not apologize. Tell them streight in their face: Israel does not need permit from anyone to build its homeland. The whole world will respect you for saying that -including the Americans.
29. Reprimand
Stephen ,   London, UK   (03.14.10)
One nation should not reprimand another on an issue that is far more concerned with the most vital interests of the nation being reprimanded than of the nation doing the reprimanding.
30. committee!!!!??Does something like this need a committee !??
(03.14.10)
