I just wonder what would have happened, if the UN would have divided Palestine and put the Jewish state on the other side (where Jordan is). Would the Palestinians also keep attacking us there? Would they keep claiming that it is there land too? I bet that there would have still been a 67 way, 73 war and all the wars before and after.
