Then, instead of announcing building 1600 homes, the project should be broken down into daily announcements so that the "offended" world has to deal with an announcement everyday until they weary of it (are desensitized to it). There is an overhwhelming concensus among Israelis, both secular and religious that Jerusalem must remain Israel's capital and strengthening Jerusalem is a national interest.
