1. Pressure
Lioness ,   Israel   (03.25.10)
I think Bibi deserves a pat on his back after withstanding so much pressure from pharoah Inssein Obama and Hitlary Clinton. We have to decide what is best for us not to be dictated to by people who would like to see us dissapear off of the map. Notice how the little Iranian turd keeps saying that we will be wiped off the map soon and the USA are giving them another year to develop the bomb. I cant help but wonder if they have become comrads in arms! But it will backfire. Have emunah Bibi, we will come out of this victorious. Jerusalem is our undivided capital forever!
2. Trust in Hashem Bibi
Leah ,   Israel   (03.25.10)
We are all behind you.
3. the booboo must resign
Hen   (03.25.10)
he has shown weakness, a lack of personal boundaries, and is not fit to lead. he has allowed the hitlerite enemy to move the boundary implicitly from Judea and Samaria to Jerusalem - he has utterly failed to negotiate, in fact, he has no negotiating skills - fair enough, most Israelis don't, but now we need strong leadership from the right, not a quiver-pudding.
4. Time to take a stand, PM Netanyahu.
David ,   Hartford USA   (03.25.10)
You are the elected leader of Israel. Decide, once and for all, if anything in Israel is worth standing up for, because if Jerusalem isn't, then nothing is. Time to declare that Jerusalem is not on the table. If Abbas and ilk want to use that as the excuse they are looking for to start the 3rd intifada, then that is THEIR choice. THEY choose bloodshed. Do not let the USA tell you what to do. Make a stand for Jerusalem, the capital of the Jewish State.
5. Take a deep breath Bibi, and then get..
Joey Rose ,   Portland   (03.25.10)
back in the ring and give a good showing against these monsters.
6. As if it'd matter everyone knows israels signature is worth
Mariam   (03.25.10)
as much as their word its bloody worthless
7. First Bibi's Mouth, Then Livni, Now Avi
Dav Lev ,   Burbank CAUSA   (03.25.10)
Confused, perplexed, undecided, wavering, without focus..is how I would describe Israel's leadership. Like Livni, now Avi says the wrong things at the wrong time. Bibi has enough problems without this. Livni is like a shark, smelling blood. And what will be accomplished by all this? Abbas, Fatah, Fayyad and Hamas, know what they all want..Israel to the 67, then 49, then 47 borders, then what? At least Hamas/Hez/Iran are honest about their goals. Avi may be strident, but he is NOT the boss, Bibi is. To Bibi: use him as Deputy F.M, behind Peres. His mouth is getting Israel into trouble.
8. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THINKING IT OVER?
steve ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (03.25.10)
Unlike our neighboring dictators, Bibi opted to act democratically and take back the US demands to his country for consultation. My concern is, why does Ynet have a problem with this non-wreckless behavior? In the American media, Bibi managed this crisis remarkably well, much to Ynet's disappointment, it appears.
9. If Bibi capitulates - Liberman is our next PM
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (03.25.10)
Bibi, stay calm and be strong. You have the majority with you. b.o. doesn"t matter. American Congress and American people do. You have strong support from them.
10. Obama Bludgeons Only Israel Against Jewish Rights To Housing
Ken ,   New York, USA   (03.25.10)
The parallels are Reprehensible. The West Sacrificed part of democracy Czechoslovokia for "peace" to apease Hitler. The disgraceful reprensable betrayal merely whetted Hitlers appetitie for more. Here Obama ONLY harshly publicly Pressures Israel to Dscriminate against JEWS for housing in ancient Jerusalem. Like the JIM CROW LAWS but for Jews. While comparatively SILENT when Palestinians riot against Jews at the Western Wall or because they rebuilt a Synogogue. To "appease" Arab appetites! Reprehensible!
11. Lieberman for PM!!
Ram ,   London   (03.25.10)
Whatever his sins this guy has ba**s. I hope that with that he has a deep understanding of the consequences, as the average civilian is not informed enough to judge. Tough love is one thing but a suffocating fatal hug from it's supposed ally should definitely not be acceptable to Israel.
12. In face of US abandoment Israel must freeze all talks and ..
bernard ross ,   st anns bay jamaica   (03.25.10)
...concentrate on security. "Peace" talks are the goyim agenda, security is what the jews eed, but only through strength. Obama is trying to deflect attention from his Iran failure ad backtracking. In so doing he endangers Israels existence. US relations should be re-evaluated i light of Obamas hostility to Israel. Realism is now due, Israel must cease to depend o US. Israel must take the true story of Obama to the Jews and ask for a replacement of US 3b aid. Jews should cease all charitable contributions to others and focus on Jews and Israel. Israel should consider ceasing saudi oilfields for reparations from financing terror. This would solve many problems, the others already exist.
13. This is very good news indeed!!!
Israeli 2   (03.25.10)
Despite what the article says, it is going to be excellent for Israel at this time and point. The Pharao can blabber and demand, but Israel will be free as a nation forever to serve Hashem!
14. If he's a "panicer" -he is not the guy to lead us
Alan ,   SA   (03.25.10)
15. USA demand no Jews in parts of Jerusalem!
Bruce Stein ,   Chicago US   (03.25.10)
Wherever Islime bumps against another culture; Islime is indignant and hostile; It has nothing to do with Jews or Israel! Islime angry: Kashmere/India… Islime angry: Balkins…Islime angry: Darfor…Islime angry: Israel…Islime angry: Balkins…Islime angry: Chechnya…Islime angry: Philipines…Islime angry: Western China… Harold Hill Obama: Islime is the problem. Hay do we have troops fighting Islime in Afghan, Iraq, Yemen…are any of the enemy we have our army fighting: Hindu? No…Christian? No…Jew? No…Secular? No…Yes! For the USA army, every enemy on every battlefield has one thing and only one thing in common: Islime! Clinton/USA is demanding a terror state (like Iran or an entity like Al Qaeda) be established on the West Bank/Gaza... ... while the US/EU claim to be at war (Iraq/Afghan) with the same terrorist they demand set up a state on the West Bank/Gaza. One can only conclude that the US/EU soldiers are in fact human sacrifice to the Islime G-d and that this war is in fact a phoney “nice Long lasting War and sell lots of weapons” exactly as I informed every member of congress between 1989-1991. c 1991 getty… We send army men to die fighting people; while we demand that that same enemy/people set up a terror state on the West Bank and Gaza exactly like the States we are fighting/human sacrifice...this is "bazaar… The USA: with friends like the USA, who needs enemies...The USA brought this current uprising with “malice of forethought”.
16. I am very proud of you, Bibi
Shulamit ,   Israel   (03.25.10)
think if I had been there I would have told them where to go and my language would not have been too polite. What right did they have to talk to our Prime Minister the way they did?
17. what difference does it make ?
Michael ,   Haifa   (03.25.10)
Who, in their right senses, would believe anyhting signed by Netanyahu or Lieberman ?
18. #17 - Michael, As opposed to something signed by Livni?
Joe ,   Ramat Gan   (03.25.10)
... or by Barak, even? I'd rather be senseless and stand up for self-preservation than be senseless and a lap dog in the White House. At least this way you have a fighting chance...
19. HILLEL WOULD APPROVE OF MR LIEBERMAN
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne,   (03.25.10)
'In a place were there are no men strive to be a man.' (Pirkei Avot 2,6) Well done to Mr Lieberman for keeping his head and showing the best way forward. I hope that Mr Netanyahu always talks to Obama with Mr Barak,a tough battle hardened soldier on one side and Mr Lieberman,a tough realist on the other. They make Obama look small. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
20. ISRAELS' PROBLEM IS NOT OBAMA
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (03.25.10)
The problem is NOT with President Obama, not Hillary Clinton and crew.Israels' problem is her own poor, weak and clueless leaders.Nothingyahu the fearful one with no clue like a rabbit mesmerised by a cars' headlights.Tzippy de doo dah Livni, the bored housewife bimbo who has not got a clue about anything(she never did dare to go the u.k. and risk being arrested) ,Barak the multi-millionaire cheshire cat .Hashem save us ,Hashem Yishmor. A decent leader would have run rings around Obama and been pro-active not apologetic, indecisive and reactive.Perhaps Israelis get the nebbisches they deserve?
21. Lieberman's advice is right
Brod ,   USA   (03.25.10)
Lieberman certainly gave the PM a brilliant advice. It is the right move. Despite the pressure and bullying by the the Rookie, Israel should be more determined in countering it. There is nothing to fear. It is Obama that should be fearing the wrath of the GOD of Israel for trying to tamper with Divine Providence on Restoring Modern Israel in their Ancient Land of Israel. Israel must defend its sovereignty and national security interests no matter what. It is Obama that will have to face Judeo-Christian America and Congress that support Israel. Obama will bring the downfall of the Democratic Party in the coming elections. He conned his way to become President by pretending to be pro-Israel. If he had campaigned during the 2008 Presidential Election that he was pro-Islam, that would have been the end of his candidacy. Such a liar should be ashamed of himself. And he and his party will face the electorates in the elections of 2010 and 2012 when they will be trounced out of power.
22. bibi
azad ,   ed ca   (03.26.10)
israel government is going to fall
23. leadership change
azad ,   ed ca   (03.26.10)
livini get your dream full fill to become prime minister of israel
24. Azad #22 #23
Brod ,   USA   (03.26.10)
Israel is a sovereign country. No nation including America can dictate to Israel. Israel is not a colony of any country. Israel can tell Obama and his associates NO and there is nothing they can do about it. Judeo-Christian America and Congress support Israel. It will be Obama who will be impeached by Congress if he continues on this dangerous pathway of crusading Jihadism on Israel, undermining the security of Israel-America's only reliable friend and ally in the region.
25. Obama
michael ,   NYC, USA   (03.26.10)
Hussein Obama is proving to be the worst President vis-a-vis Israel ever to be elected. Yet over 70% of Jewish Americans voted for him. And shamefully, a majority of that 70% would still vote for him just because he is on the democratic ticket. But he is one huge deception: Obama is a socialist that hates the country he was raised in. He is an anti-semite (just ask his mentor Wright) and will try his best to destroy Israel.
26. More sage advice from Avigdor Leibenstaum
