61. #42 Israel defeats and humiliates them
Joey Rose ,   Portland   (03.29.10)
also, that is if "palestine" would be anything other than stillborn or aborted.
62. #23
(03.29.10)
You think so do you actually it couldnt be further from the truth before the state of israel as much rights jews had in there countries they were kind of scared to stand upright because of antisemitism jews were hated repeatedly since the state people created this myth that anti semitism is because of israel. when israel in fact causes less antisemtism because there will always now be somebody to fight for violated jews all over if somebody attacks them.
63. To Morris United States of Isarel?
Adam R. ,   Dallas, TX   (03.29.10)
If even handed means United States of Arabia, then let it be. Justice for all is our philosophy. So, where are you from? Injustice in Un-American. You did not know?
64. There Are Two Types Of Enemies
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.29.10)
An enemy who tells you that he is your enemy. And an enemy who tells you that he is your friend. Clearly, the second type is far more dangerous.
65. I told you you're nothing without America
Salma ,   Palestine   (03.29.10)
you do not have choice but to bow to the wishes of the United States...This will prolong "Israel's life" Other years
66. Obama the most courageous president
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (03.29.10)
It's high time someone (Obama) got tough with Israel. For too long Israel has been spoon fed by successive US administrations. It is obvious that Obama is resolute in fixing the Palestinian issue once and for all. He is to be congratulated for showing courage to stand up to those who regard Palestinians as less than human. I remind posters here that Israel is also guilty of inhuman acts against those who are only struggling for what is theirs.
67. #65 We're still dominating you, correct ?
Yosef Levy ,   Tel Aviv   (03.29.10)
68. To # 23 The same old story
Norman ,   france, Eurabia   (03.29.10)
You think Israel is the cause of antisemitism... remember those centuries Israel did'nt exist but antisemitism did. Some jews learned from history and can fight for their freedom, other like those who where communist and traveled in some goulag wait for the next trip to the next camp. Shame
69. Too good to be true to let the U.N. take over.
Mark   (03.29.10)
70. Number 6
Anon ,   Johannesburg   (03.29.10)
Obama's peace plan is to distroy Israel. The people have realised this fact by now. Israel needs to stop all peace processes untill this US pres is out of office, Maybe years or 7 years. for the first time there is bad relation, but only political, not economical nor social, as those ties are much stronger then Obama's hate for Israel. relations have been severely damaged since Obama came to power, not because of the construction of 1,600 apartments in Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo neighborhood. The US has always supported Israel status over Jerusalem, It is Obama that is changing this old US policy.
71. no. 65, thanks for a good laugh!
Shaul R ,   USA/Australia   (03.29.10)
Mr. Obama courageously wimped out on Iran's nukes and anti-gov demonstrators, toadied up to Syria, surrendered Lebanon, while being openly humiliated by Assad, Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad, bravely ignored N. Korea, fearlessly allowed Russia's unfettered re-expansion, got bullied by Turkey to not recognize their merciless genocide of Armenians...then completes this stellar record by valiantly beating up on its ally, Israel, which is less than 1/5th of US population and a fraction of its land size. Jews must really scare the s**t out of you, mate, if you think that Obama is a courageous president.
72. #66 Robert, Brisbane
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (03.29.10)
Obama the most courageous president? If we suppose this to be true - why has "The One" suffered such a dramatic drop in the poll ratings?
73. Correction - no.71 refers to no. 66, not 65
Shaul R ,   USA/Australia   (03.29.10)
74. Courageous Obama
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (03.29.10)
#72 "why has "The One" suffered such a dramatic drop in the poll ratings?" For the same reason George W. Bush was elected president. In other words the bulk of US voters can't see the wood for the trees.
75. US Should Abstain
fit2Btied ,   USA   (03.29.10)
A year ago, the Obama administration planned to cut about $1 billion from the balance of its loan guarantees to Israel because of its investments in the settlements. If there were ever a time to do so, the time is now. He'd have the full support of the Democrat majority in Congress, the majority of Americans, and Netanyahu will learn what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you.
76. Robert @ 74. do not insult American people.
leo ,   usa   (03.29.10)
We know fake when we see one. Be it Gore, be it Carry, and yes, be it Obama.
77. Americans support Israel.....
Charles L. ,   Oklahoma, USA   (03.29.10)
Good day. I am an American, and I just wanted the Israeli people to know that many if not most Americans love and support the nation of Israel, regardless of what our government does politically. I am praying for you all and may the Lord protect and bless you!
78. #10 - The US has been the only unbiased vote
William ,   Israel   (03.29.10)
Whenever they vote in favor of Israel, it's usually to counter the biased votes at the UN on resolutions that target Israel and purposely ignore "palestinians". For that, the US is consider not an ally but a beacon of fairness. Arabs don't like it because they insist that if they get a majority of hate-mongers who support terror, they should win over basic human rights. All the US ever asked for was resolutions that cited both parties and gave a real picture of how each side was to blame. Arabs always torpedoed such efforts which is why Arabs continue to be seen as supporters of terror (recent polls of Americans cited) and the US as a beacon of democracy (recent polls of third world and Muslim countries cited).
79. Call China and ask if they'd like some AWACS...
William ,   Israel   (03.29.10)
in return for a positive vote for Israel.
80. #65 - I'm not sure "Pals" are anything...
William ,   Israel   (03.29.10)
even with the support of Iran or the US. Either way you cut it, the "Pals" are like a "gun for hire". A population without any real history or culture, but they will morph into whatever you need them for...if the price is right. Want the "Pals" to be "freedom fighters" and commit war crimes against civilians?? NO problem - just write the check and they'll take care of re-writing their school books and send people to blow up buses and Passover dinners. Want the "Pals" to help destroy Judaism to pave the way for Islamic domination? NO Problem! Just write the check and they'll create a history that helps to wipe out Jewish ties to their very own holy places, while they destroy the buildings under the nose of UNESCO. Want the "Pals" to act like a civil population that wants peace? NO Problem, just write the check and they'll build a govt that looks pretty democratic from the outside with its benign "police" force and they'll throw in "grandpa with a suit" as a bonus.
81. 72.Polls scare many from doing what's right!
lydia ,   Brisbane   (03.30.10)
Obama has shown he will do the right thing despite the Polls. US should go further and vote against Israels illegal construction in the Capital. He is still being too soft on Israel.
82. # 65
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.30.10)
William, thanks for ending my day with the best joke of the month. Brilliant post.
83. # 77
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.30.10)
Thanks, Charles for your love, support & prayers for Israel.
