37. # 13 Bravo
hacivatoglu   (04.06.10)
Bravo to you for your common sense. They are just waiting to "free" their poeple from Israel, then they will start in Jordan to free the majority of their people, if they can.
38. Where is the Palestinian claim on Jordan?
(04.06.10)
39. Abdullah
Darren ,   rishon Lezion   (04.06.10)
What Abdullah didn't mention was that according to the peace treaty between the two nations, Israel provides Jordan with a large portion of its annual water needs, and that many Israelis do business in Jordan, even if their Jordanian counterparts choose not to reciprocate. Abdullah goest on to say that recent tension over Jewish building in Jerusalem is highly relevant to Jordan, since it is still recognized as the custodian of Muslim and many Christian holy sites there. However, Abdullah again left the picture incomplete, failing to note that when his country illegally occupied Jerusalem from 1948-1967, it summarily denied Jews and often Christians access to their holy sites.
40. Common Sense = The Arabs tell Israel "Welcome Home"
Andrew ,   Miami,FL   (04.06.10)
yes - middle east peace is simple - the arabs tell israel welcome home - embrace her as the semitic family she is - then in turn Israel welcomes the palis home, and accepts being home (among her semitic family) - as the semitic cousins they are..abraham will be happy - simple common sense
41. to #25 AD???? useally it AC or BC
ghostq   (04.06.10)
I guess you missed in one letter. arabs came from the east paninsula no writing were covered before 1600 years ago in the region, it's not gossip just the truth. btw silwan is Siloach the ancient hebrew writing is in Turkey they plundered it, in hebrew there was written how in shiloach(what you arabs by wrong pronounciation call silwan) carved the tunnle to the natural springs to the old city of jerusalem. and you know that archyology evidence can you top that.
42. #23 Where did you learn this? In Los Angeles.:)
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.06.10)
One day we will achieve our goal of having an independent country with its full control and authority...We will not accept any alternative homeland, not even the sun or the moon Palestine and only Palestine
43. The king explained why peace is impossible
(04.06.10)
Israel needs peace for its longtime survival, which is why the Palestinains have à vested interest never under any circumstance sign such a peace. One would think wiser men (or women) would understand.
44. #3 . Are you a relative of R. Hess?
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (04.06.10)

GOD WILL DEFEND BLESSED ISRAEL, AMEN
50. Abdullah Alarmist Crap
Brod ,   USA   (04.06.10)
Abdullah does not know what he is talking about. Where was Abdullah in 1973? Is he trying to intimidate the Super Power of the region? He should focus on his own country and accommodate those Palestinian Islamist-Jihadists squatting in Israel's liberated historic homeland of Judea and Samaria. Jordan is already a Palestinian state where 70% of population is Palestinians.
51. ghostq, at least try to pretend you're literate

55. to #47 wrong the the jordenain king married to
ghostq   (04.06.10)
palestinian, so all you said is meaningless, we all know there is no Jordenian people since they r British creation from bedouin hashemit tribe, BTW the first Hashemit king was called shake not king untill 1920, only with the help of the Brits he became Monarch, but we all know they were bedouins back in the past. very ironic since jews during that time were also called Palestinians. and info is from British archive.
56. to #51 giggle only MuslimS use that
ghostq   (04.06.10)
all the articles in archyology use the tearms AC AND BC. BTW Domini in latin Anno=one Domini=god reference of before the chritian counting aka BC or AC, but that tearm isn't used for archyology more to biblical studies before constantine or after (paganism vs one god), show how much you know about chtianity or archyological references of today. in archyology the common use is BC and AC, AND you will find it shoking that no arab or muslim evidence existen in the area 1600 years back. if ever there r more evidences that Jericho got ancient synagoug, I wonder how very very old synagouge got there, mmm and the name is in hebrew.
57. Arabs and workers
roli ,   miami, usa   (04.06.10)
The majority of the kings subjects and even his own wife consider themselves Palestinians. In a sense I'm sure that whatever Arabs that live in the West Bank that are not faithful to Fatah or Hizbullah, the PFLP, or any other armed faction would consider him their leader. The difference between a Royal leader and a dictator is that a King is expected to show benevolence. We Jew's are not exactly waiting for a king, we are still just hiding our nobility. Our redemptive prophesy includes a Nabatean king as a neighbour. Let's just call a spade a spade. If the Arabs who want to be Israeli's will join the IDF, the rest can join the Palace Union, to work for themselves, our peaceful neighbours, and our King when he is crowned in Hebron.
58. The Little King of Jordan is worried.
Spencer ,   Israel   (04.06.10)
And so he should be worried because that natural homeland of these people who call themselves Palestinians is Jordan. When his Country "ran" East Jerusalem, there was no freedom of religion; Jewish graves were destroyed; etc etc etc. And look at Jerusalem today after 1967. It's yhe united Capital of ISRAEL and will always be and there is complete freedom of religion and ALL historic sites are preserved. The "Little King is a weak spineless ruler who inherited the throne from his late Father and unlike his father has done nothing to contribute to peace in the Middle east.
59. Petra
Mahlon Drumgoole ,   Newark NJ USA   (04.06.10)
An optional tour to Petra, in Jordan, was a possibility during my 2006 visit to Israel. I decided against it because of the coldness between Israel and Jordan after the death of King Hussein. I hope that other visitors to Israel will also decide to withhold their dollars and not visit Petra as long as this Obama inspired hostility towards Israel persists. The king is really afraid of Palestinians taking over his kingdom as they are the majority and he has to appear tough. That is no excuse for threatening Israel's survival.
60. want to make king hussein scared?
dani   (04.06.10)
tell him that the border of the future palestinian state will be along the jordan river. all of a sudden, you will have the jordanians completely opposed to a palestinian state.
