Although there is always the risk the so called dirty bombs are not as easy to make as the politicians and their scare tactics would have us all believe. You cant take some nuclear material and put together a bomb in your garage. The real threat I think will come from chemical & biological terrorist weapons. A well financed Al Quaida terrorist would have no problem getting hold of lab equipment which is all perfectly legal and if they get some chemicals mix it all together they got themselves a weapon. Then the terrorist infects himself and spends the day on something like the NY subway infecting people without them even knowing anything has happened and they spread it to somebody else and within a day thousands of people can be infected It may not be a super weapon which there is no cure to but plenty of people would die and its possible emergency services may not even be able to cope. Thats the sort of thing we really have to worry about .. cheap, easy to make and effective but unfortunatly because its not quite as glamerous as the idea of a nuclear terror they don't hold big conferences to discuss threats like these.

but the single biggest factor in the increased risk is BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA! it is his policy of appeasing the islamists that has increased attacks in iraq and afganistan. and it is on his watch that islamist extremists nearly took control of pakistan's nuclear arsenal. and it is his naive policy of "engagement" that has allowed iran to continue enriching uranium, and to defy the world. the fact is that israeli civilians will once again "take a bullet" for american appeasement, as they did during the gulf war, because obama wants to :play nice" with syria, while they ship scud missiles to hezbollah. the only "cruel irony" is that his presidency will not live up to his own messiah complex, and could end up in an even bigger mess than george dubya's!
