1. IAEA+UN= blatant Anti-Semitism
Free Israeli News ,   USA   (04.13.10)
How on earth could such an irresponsible man ever have made it to such a position of responsibility? It clearly shows that Israel must act alone on all fronts without consulting even it's friends since the world has revealed it's total incompetance in delegating great responsibility. Should we wonder now, why Irans nuke program snuk up on us? Humanity has become the 'underbelly' of nature. It's disgusting
2. el baradei
alexi   (04.14.10)
Baradei is a stooge like moussa. He covered up iranian nuclear weapons program and lied about it. he was useless for the UN. he is like abbas and moussa, a blowtorch without result. If gaza is a jail, it is because of fatah and hamas and not israel. They turned into a jail with their moslembrotherhood khomeini austere sharia dictatorship. baradei and moussa resemble erdogan, another screeching arafat who are duplicitous liars and empty slgoaneers. keep pushing Israel and you will get leiberman. After the parade of pussies and weaklings that israel has had as PMs, lieberman's words would count with the arabs.
3. And this creature
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.13.10)
ran the world's nuclear watchdog agency. With that attitude. Heaven alone knows how many nuclear secrets made their way into truly evil hands, or how much processed uranium went missing on his watch. He is truly a vile creature.
4. Interesting, so did he also cover up Iran & Korea
John Phee ,   Sydney AUSTRALIA   (04.14.10)
The question is whether his comments are for a domestic audience or the world. Is this his real opinion. The next question is whether he covered up what Iran & Korea were doing to further his views. Lastly if he ruled Egypt with whom Isreal has made peace could Egypt become another Syria? That should be the question all those that think giving up teritory should consider.
5. ElBaradei - Just a political gamble.....
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (04.14.10)
......Hosni and his team won't be very happy about this
6. ElBaradei
bob ,   Jerusalem   (04.14.10)
I imagine it may be significant that the same joker, as the head of the IAEA, who went through fire and water to explain how iran and syria were not pursuing nuclear weapons, is the same joker saying that violence is the only way to peace for the palestinians. when is the world going to learn.
7. This was Iran's cover man
StevieT ,   USA   (04.14.10)
The Western governments should be ashamed of themselves for putting up with his sham. They should also be culpable for any violent attacks against Israel resulting from the changing balance of power.
8. ElBaradei - finally your true colours!
Mina ,   Haifa, Israel   (04.14.10)
ElBa radei, while your latest statements could be in an attempt to gain votes and support, I choose to believe that you have finally shown your true colours. What needs to be done now is to clean up the mess which you left behind, including how you also allowed Iran to continue to build nuclear weapone and threaten to destroy Israel with it, both are developments which Israel will stop. Watch and learn ElBaradei.
9. peace with Arabs
Serge ,   antwerp, Belgium   (04.14.10)
El Baradei's words are showing that peace with an Arab state is not worth much.
10. At last he shows his true colours!
dave ,   uk   (04.14.10)
11. :: ElBaradei
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (04.14.10)
I have some hopes for ElBaradei, he seems well rounded and grounded in sanity. If he doesn’t succumb to an unfortunate accident between now and 2011+ he may well change Egyptian local and foreign policy. He will of course play ball with the USA by don’t be surprised to see him stand firm on some local issues.
12. El-Baradei vs. Israel
Erich ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.14.10)
If El-Baradei wishes to abrogate the Israeli-Egyptian peace agreement, then I must assume he wishes to see the Sinai returned to Israel.
13. ElBaradei campaigns to open Egyptian border
Simon ,   UK   (04.14.10)
If this two bit has been politician had any real interest in the Palestinians he would be campaigning for Egypt to open the border with Gaza. But no his words ring hollow and his tears are false.
14. the arabs are the ONLY occupiers on our land!
Elbaradei is an ,   Iranian spy!   (04.14.10)
15. this is the problem mr. baradei
dacia ,   bucharest, romania   (04.14.10)
the arabs also understand only the language of violence. what is your next proposal? and do not forget: you are a citizen of an occupied country by arabs.
16. Actually, the world's largest jail is..
Takan ,   Elat Israel   (04.14.10)
in Los Angeles, USA. It is called the twin towers correctional facility. Just google it. If El Baradei was honest in his metaphor he would have added that Saudi Arabia is the biggest jail for women. His are just empty words to gain votes at the next Egyptian elections. I really hope Mubarak will crush this filthy bug and all the Muslim brotherhood that comes with it. Gaza is a piece of land wasted on hateful murderous gangs. It should be retaken by Israel and all the scums should be purged. Hamas and all the radical islamists should be dealt with forcefully as it is the only language these barbarians understand.
17. to No.3- Sarah, You found the right word
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.14.10)
El Baradai is really a vile creature, his only purpose as head of the nuclear watchdog agency was the promotion of Irans nuke program. He lied and cheated in order to enable Irans criminal madmen to lay their dirty hands on the ultimate weapon. This man is Israels sworn enemy, this was crystal clear over all the years of his term...
18. El Baradai
Eyal ,   USA   (04.14.10)
You want Palestinian resistance? As long as you are OK with us fighting back and killing a lot of Palestinians, then by all means, lets have resistance, just don't complain like a baby afterward. The blood of your Palestinian children will be in your hands. what a dushbag.
19. He does not care about Egypt's Soveraignty?
ARIEL   (04.14.10)
Palestinians repeatedly attacked Egypt's soveraignty by ripping the border's fence and shooting Egyptian policemen. Egypt has suggested stopping the tunnels and opening the border but Palestininans go on smuggling through the tunnels because they are interested in explosives and weapons. Doesn't he read nespapers? Does he think that President Mubarak wants to please Israel? His opinion is insulting to his own country and full of poor demagogy! This is the head the Interntional Agency for Atomic Control? The results with Irak and Iran are clearly poor credentials for this weak politician.
20. To #2 do you have more polite language??
Alex J ,   Westbury - NY USA   (04.14.10)
With ignorant guys with such foul language like you, no wonder why people go to war with each other. You must have raised and bred that foul language which will not solve the Middle East problems. I pray to G-D that there won't much people like you. Peace to all..
21. Baradei : Call for violence - you will get it at home !
Jaacov Baumann   (04.14.10)
Cursing Israel brings curse ! Baradei is just another blind, foolish, disgusting antisemite - we knew it for long ! He allowed Iran to proceed its race for nukes ! Baradei , O wouldnt be in your shoes, its not a safe place !
22. ElBaradei seeking Muslim Brothers votes
Joe ,   Canada   (04.14.10)
ElBaradei in planing his future try at succeeding Mubarak is wooing the extremists in Egypt who support their counterparts in Gaza. This sets him apart of the current egyptian regime at odds with Hamas which tried to undermine Mubarak. ElBaradei is an other figure like Ahmadinejad using the Palestinian conflict for his own advantage.
23. Always had that cat pegged as a BS artist
Cameron ,   USA   (04.14.10)
24. You are no Sadat!
William ,   Israel   (04.14.10)
So you're feeling the pressure of the Egyptian govt and your book calling for reform has been banned. Fall back on Plan B - the well-used "blame the Jews" tirade. Sadat knew very well that it isn't force, but honest peace, that Israel understands. And you are no Sadat.
25. If Gaza is a "jail", let Egypt that borders it open the
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.14.10)
Strip and incorporate it and its people into Egypt. Both being Muslim-Arab territories and based on UN Security Council Resolution 242 this should be the income to the implementation of the Resolution.
26. What? Is he still around?
David ,   USA, exile   (04.14.10)
I thought I flushed him only moments ago.
27. Supporting The Copts Too?
Frankie Littlehammer ,   New Herstal, TX, US   (04.14.10)
Is El Barbarei supporting the Copts in their struggle against the Muslim occupation of their land? Calling for armed struggle?
28. I'll say ANYTHING, I'm running for office!
jewishness ,   NYC USA   (04.14.10)
This hollow suit is a born in the wool politico...somewhat shallow, a bit nasty, seemingly a aparition of a leader. Almost an Abbass, but without the great personality and his fabulous sense of shoot myself in the foot timing. He has always shown an amazing multiple but myopic points of view. Easily overlooking the obvious. Always seeming to be one step behind everyone else. Doesn't seem to like Jewish people much... He'll win by a landslide.
29. demagoguery to get votes
Jeff ,   Philadelphia   (04.14.10)
It is pretty clear at this point that el Baradei is running for the presidency and that many Egyptians are upset about how much Mubarak has been allegedly pro-Israel by cooperating with the Gaza blockade... as a result of this like any politician anywhere, he is trying to play this to his political advantage by making the "Egyptian street" think he is more "pro-Palestinian" than Mubarak regardless of whether he actually believes what he's saying or not. The problem here isn't el Baradei... he is essentially just being a typical politician. The problem is Egypt as a whole and that it's still "politically popular" to support violence against Israel.
30. great campaign strategy!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (04.14.10)
at least albaradei will be sure to get the palestinian vote, if there ever is an election, and if gazans get to vote in egypt (where they rightfully belong). but i wouldn't hold my breath...
