6. To Abdallah
Shawn ,   Los Angeles   (04.16.10)
Abdallah, Your comments disgusted me. I don't want to presume that your views are indicative of your broader culture. What they are indicative of, however, is that you and yours lack the very basic sense of human compassion and shall always be less than human.
7. to number 3
Paul ,   Uk   (04.16.10)

...from the US and from Iran. Who do you enjoy pleasuring more?
9. Dear Y-net editors
(04.16.10)
I kindly request that you review comments made by #3 Abdallah from Qatar. As you review it please do ask yourself the question "If these were Jewish Israeli soldiers as opposed to Druze Israeli Soldiers would we put up such a comment?" In other words I am kindly requesting that you consider removing this comment it is hurtful and mean spirited. Thank you, Sally Forth
10. To #3 How cold!
James K. ,   Leesville, LA, USA   (04.16.10)
Good ending my foot! How can you say such a thing, and assume they were gay as well! Look, I'm sorry if you had a bad experience with a Jew / IDF soldier / or whatever in the past, but have a heart, don't be so cold!
11. #3: Does Qatar have an army?
Eitan ,   Chicago   (04.16.10)
Or does it rely on Pakistanis and Filipinos to do that as well as everything else? The Arab dream is to become a government minister, not to dignify your burden to society through military service. Like his country's erstwhile diplomat and Al-Qaeda sympathizer in the US, it is beyond #3's comprehension to fathom the significance of national service. Although the Qur'anic worldview sees it differently, robbing a caravan and defending your homeland are two different things. Since they first found themselves running states and not a monolithic "ummah," national identity has not been properly forged in any Arab state: armies exist to suppress the tribes out of power, while governments permit non-state terror groups to threaten society. What else can one expect from shari'a, where murder is not a crime but rather a "personal dispute," perjury is a virtue, and embracing reason is a capital offense? Hence all we can expect from them is pathological lies and more sulking.
12. Qatari number 3
TAHRIR QUDS ALYAHUDI   (04.16.10)
What do you expect from PERE ADAM.
13. Three other members of the Druze people
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (04.16.10)
also committed suicide this week and the rate of suicide, according to this article, is higher amongst the Druze than in other ethnic groups in Israel. If this information is correct, it does point to the degeneration of the social system amongst Druze in Israel and the need to rectify it.
14. Investigate what's happening and draw the conclusions.
Ernest ,   USA   (04.17.10)
Neither of the two soldiers left behind a letter or any hint that could shed light on the double tragedy. You don't need a letter but there do have to be hints. You need to get to the root of the problem and it can not be denied there is one. With five suicides in a week, it can be likened to a crisis.
15. WOW
NICK ,   USA   (04.17.10)
just shows you how cruel the Israeli army is, it makes their own soldiers sick from all the war crimes being committed against the Palestinian people, the Israeli govt should be held accountable for these mens suicide
16. to # 13
pal ,   jerusalem   (04.17.10)
they are our biggest abusers ,they speak the language and they know the traditions . they don't consider themselves arabs .. and we don't consider them Muslims . this is why they are depressed .
17. #15 you forgot to mention
David   (04.17.10)
The current volcanic eruption in Iceland and the grounding of the European planes is also Israeli fault. As long as Jews live in Jerusalem everything is their fault.
18. Were they shunned or mistreated?
Josh   (04.17.10)
19.  The Druze in the IDF...
ali ,   villanova -PA- USA   (04.17.10)
This sect has NO CHOICE ..They serve in the IDF and get Orders... They are CONFUSED..The IDF does a good Job brain washing them..Most of the TIME..This is an ODD case.. Over all they are NICE people..and when the TIDE turns..They will turn with it.. Israel has to watch its back..
20. Rabbi Yeshua said there is no greater love than to lay down
Rivkah   (04.17.10)
one's life for a friend. King David said his love for Jonathan (King Saul's son) exceeded his love for women. They were not homosexual but it shows that the love of two men can be greater than the love of a man for a woman. That is one of the bonding elements in military service that women in combat disrupts: male bonding. The young are hit so hard by the loss of a dear friend. Thankfully, when Ariel Sharon lost 24 of his close friends from his youth in battles, he continued on instead of taking his life. When he lost his first wife Gali to a car accident, he continued on again instead of killing himself. When his first born son died in a terrible accident as a child, Ariel Sharon continued on in sorrow, but he continued on. The loss of such joy in a friend or wife or child is overwhelming for some, especially the young. They have to learn what Moses learned when he could not go on. The Lord told him simply, "Go on!"
21. Soldiers die for their friends, not their country or a cause
Rivkah   (04.18.10)
which means the bonding of these two had a positive aspect but it is sad they chose to take their own lives instead of dying for a friend in a battle situation. The Lord said to me of this incident, "Even in death the friendship lives on."
