As Lieberman noted, many times Israel has "paid a high price for peace". What Lieberman fails to note is that the result is inevitably disastrous. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, Israel should not pay ANY price for peace. Just like America didn't sacrafice for peace with the former Soviet Union. The parties made peace because they felt it was in their interest.
