1. I don't get it, does this comunity even knows
ghostq   (04.25.10)
what palis r doing to the gay and lesbian in the WB and gaza, I don't think they aware they supporting someone who won't approve them, and since this community in Israel r so stupid as to identify themselves with legal party considering it shouldn't (cause political opinion you can change-they bring the wrong messegae) than every attacker on them can alway claim it's cause they political oppinion and not their sex oriantation, they r really asking to get hit, cause when things will over hit as they notmaly do they will be the first to get hit since they for sure extreme left wingers, and none in the htrosexual community will even care. if you ask me they should have gay lesbian party but not political one meaning with out left or right identity other wise they deserve any attack.
2. Really? Are you so desperate?

3. Proud of our "culture"
Shalom Hartman   (04.26.10)
Israel is shooting itself in the foot by trying to show the world how tolerant it is, and how it is a "hotbed" (pardon the pun) for gays and lesbians. A quick glance over last weeks Torah reading is enough to convince anyone with half a brain, that yes, Israel's problems are because of us Jews, and not the rest of the world. If we start acting as an "Am Kadosh" - a Holy Nation (and I'm not suggesting that everyone has to be "hareidi"), then the "Nations" will not be able to touch us.
4. Appreciating Israel / Appreciating Gays
Hmmm ,   San Jose, California   (04.26.10)
The LGBT community in the Bay Area is actually generally very supportive of Israel. But for obvious reasons of having to fight for their own civil rights, many are drawn to more progressive or leftist politics, which are often dominated by other anti-Israel forces. That is why this festival was so good. Because it highlighted just how fabulous Israel is. We know it - let's let everybody else know.
5. to Shalon Hartman: yes!
little k ,   Tel Aviv   (04.29.10)
Exactly! Israel is trying way to hard to please the world, whose opinions won't change anyway, and in the meantime, it is completely missing the point. We are in deep trouble if we don't wake up in time.
