If Israel attacks Iran I have my grave doubts as to whether these "weeks or months or years" will be relevant to a non existent Israel. The retaliation for such an attack will be instantaneous with immediate "jumping on the wagon" by Syria, Lebanon and Gaza plus activation of dormant internal fifth column organizations. Call me defeatist if you will, but I believe it will be the end and others will be writing our epitaph in the hallowed world media that loves us so much. It's a choice between 2 terrible options: If we strike, I'm afraid Israel will be hit in a way never hit before. It's going to be Tel Aviv, Haifa, maybe Jerusalem (not sure because of the importance of east Jerusalem), Be'er Sheva, every major city. Probable also chemical and biological weapon.
