Max   (04.27.10)
4. The matter of the fact is Israel is enemy to the whole world
Yal ,   US   (04.27.10)
The biggest danger to world peace, justice and understanding between the peoples
5. but Liberman threatened to bomb the Aswan High Dam in Egypt
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.27.10)
This is much worse I do not know if Ynet published this, or it also will not allow it. :(
6. #4 history repeats itself
(04.27.10)
That is exactly what they said in 1938
7. why protest the truth
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.27.10)
It is pathetic that the Israel is asking for clarifications. Egypt has never left any doubt that it considers Israel an enemy state and that it will fight to exterminate Israel if given the chance.
8. So let's succumb some more... peace is great, ain't it?

9. If attacked, Israel will never give the Sinai away again!

10. he didn't say it
observer   (04.27.10)
he didn't ad the explanatory phrase "in successive course", then, why all the fuss? to prove that Lebanon is the enemy state?
11. answering the folly according to his foolishness
observer   (04.27.10)
when asked if he is carrying message from Israel (without stating destination), he answered: I don't carry messages from enemy party to friendly party!
12. This proves beyond any doubt that the
Vardina   (04.27.10)
so called "peace treaties" signed between Israel and Egypt as well as between Israel and Jordan are not worth the paper those treaties had been typed on. Conclusion: there is no use in signing treaties with any Arab authority since Arabs do not know what honesty means. They simply want Israel to make concessions in the hope for peace ,and later try to wipe us out of the Middle East.
13. point from the first line

Abul-Gheit said the word enemy frankly and point from the first line

just want to comment   (04.27.10)
I wonder why you read this English speaking Israel website instead of another that can reflect your own personal views in your mother language. the United States and Arab countries also publish what they want the public to know and hide what they don't want them to know. It happens across the world. So if we dont publish something in a paper its a crime now? You and your criticism!
16. Just wait till we sign a "peace" treaty with Palestinians
(04.27.10)
Surely they won't consider us enemies any more. Right? Frankly I don't give a you know what the Arabs or the rest of the damn world thinks about us, however the idea of normalized relations with the Arab world is rediculous. It's better to be hated by the whole world and have a country than be loved by it and live in Aushwitz.
17. Egyptians think day and night about
(04.27.10)
about improving their friendship with Israel. LOL. Hamas also thinks day and night about normal relations with Israel. Mr. PM give up the West bank to PA and they will also be your bestest friends and surely Palestinians will never think of Jews as enemies.
18. Egypt will side with Syria and Hizbollah. Period.
David ,   Hartford USA   (04.27.10)
So much for 'moderate' Egypt. Israel is now surrounded by states that will dismember it at the first opportunity. And with Iran's advanced weapons in Syria and Lebanon AND GAZA, the next war will be very short. Remember what the dwarf psychopath in Iran has stated: the ummah will survive with some casualties, Israel won't survive- and that's a very fair trade. If 'friendly' Jordan participates (in order to remain on his pathetic throne), Israel has a four front war on its hands. With the latest hand-held anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles from Russia and Iran, Israeli armor and air support will be forced to hold back- meaning the infantry will be decimated. A few volleys from Syria's missile batteries hitting Tel Aviv and Haifa will shut the country down. I pray I'm wrong, but Gabi and crew had better be extremely well prepared for a fight of biblical proportions. And if a '5th column' does exist, sabotaging power distribution, communications, public transport, Israel will be in the stone age before the next sunrise. And you think the Axis of Evil doesn't know this at this very moment?? Bibi will either go down as Israel's greatest leader (for protecting it) or its worst (for allowing it to be destroyed). I hope he has a preference. If I were Bibi, I'd flat out announce that Damascus, Amman, Tehran, Cairo, etc. are already targeted for nukes if anything starts up. It's the only way to keep the hounds at bay. It's the only way for Israel to win a four-front war. Count on the USA to come to the rescue? Hardly. They've held back weapons already paid for and stopped delivery of bunker-busters destined for Iran's nuke plants. No, Israel can't look to the USA for help, for which I apologize to the Israeli people.

when you have you own website i will not see it
20. Another consequence of Obama's Policy?
Ram ,   London   (04.27.10)
It seems like the arab states, thanks to BHO, see a golden opportunity to gang up together against Israel. They perceive Israel's deteriorating relationship with the US as its Achille's heel. Will someone explain to BHO what his "imposed peace" idea, by leaning heavily on Israel is producing? If the ME flares up does he not think this will substantially negatively impact on the USA?
21. egypt
rick greene ,   wayne,nj...usa   (04.27.10)
what they say in english is very often very very very different to what they say in arabic. listener beware! He firmly believes that Israel is the enemy & would come to Lebanon's aid against Israel. The israelies know it.
22. #18 David from Hartford - Thank You but please calm down.
Mike ,   Israel   (04.27.10)
Its under control. Its all mostly good :-)
23. Actually Egyptian's 'enemy' statement ir rather ambiguos.
leo ,   usa   (04.27.10)
Lebanon forbids any contacts with the 'enemy state'. It is even reflected in their Constitution, which may be basis for the comment. On the othe hand Egyptian might trully believe Israel to be his enemy. So, clarification is necessary and of course public apology form Egyptian government and in Arabic too.
24. Egypt
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (04.27.10)
Egypt has a difficult task,it has to balance it's relations with the American infidels, from whom it gets $ 2000,000,000 a year, with the need to satisfy the blood thirsty Egyptian masses who blame their backwardness and misery on Israel, hatred directed against Israel gives the Egyptian government some reprieve,Egypt is a primitive country where revenge for past, true or not true abuses, dominate their daily lives, the vendetta siciliana was introduse to sicily by the Muslim invaders, the Muslim invaders installed this noble institution also in Egypt, the irony is that the Muslims claim that Mohamed is the only and the last prophet who annuls the teachings of Moses,Moses forbade the people of Israel to take revenge, and to carry a grudge, while revenge is very imprtant in Islam,it is hard to believe that God is pleased with revenge, people who live in the past stay in the past.
25. Egypt will stand by Lebanon and Syria..
Yossi G. ,   Jerusalem   (04.27.10)
and stand by is all they'll do.
26. #24 J.K.
Hal ,   USA   (04.27.10)
This is spooky funny don't you think? The Jewish people get their guide book from Moses leaving Egypt thaty instructs them to live a moral life with 10 no no's. Revenge being one of them. I think if you look at the scoreboard J.K., Egypt has had the worst of it ever since Moses. Looks as if that won't change anytime in the near future as well. Their problem as with the other Arab democracies is that their perfect obsession with Israel is their greatest weakness. Sounds biblical to me. G-d is the one to seek revenge or justice as the case may be. Let history be the judge!!
27. #24 from Exodus movie, do you take Judaism?
observer   (04.27.10)
Jeremiah 46:10 For that day is a day of the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour and be satiate, and shall drink its fill of their blood; for the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, has a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates. Deuteronomy 20:16 "However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes." dashing little children against rocks as a form of revenge: Psalm 137:8-9 "8 O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one, O the happiness of him who repayeth to thee thy deed, That thou hast done to us. 9 O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock". In Judaism, there is only one or two verses to recite in time of illness, but there are hundred verses to recite on revenge.
28. #27 you have no clue about Judaism
better observer   (04.27.10)
but this doesn't stop you from making asinine comments and making and a.....s out of yourself.
29. # 4 brilliant comment

Brilliant comment Yal , i agree a 100%
30. # 27 Jeremaiah
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (04.28.10)
Observer ! Moses was the law giver, not Jeremaiah, the Jewish Bible was written in the course of hundreds of years, reflecting the times of the authors who wrote the Jewish Bible,Jeremaiah witnessed the horrors committed by the Babilonians against the people of Judea,so, he wrote with pain, calling for vengeance against mighty Babylonia,so did the author, of,on the rivers of Babylonia, Israel retunned to the Egyptians the Sinai to the last inch, so, whats the reason for the Egyptians hatred for Israel today ? and it's not the Palestinians, the Egyptians hate palestinians more then they hate Israel, palestinian students from Gaza who trawel to Cairo to study, are taken by Egypt in busses with covered windows, the Saudi wahabis, the sunis, the shia,have1 Mantra:;revenge, kill the infidels, the call comes from the deserts of the Arabian peninsula, going back centuries, inflamed today by the mulas in the mosque, and by the intelligentsia in the Arab world, the irony is that in Israel the intelligentsia, is in the forefront for peace with the Arabs, while in Egypt,Jordan, the intelligentsia is adamantly opposed to any deals with Israel,in some societies emotions always prevail over reason.
