Being killed for committing a murder is not a violation of human rights. The laws exist that provide that response to his crime - he was aware of it and still made the choice. It would be against his human rights not to honor his choice, however poor, that he made and the punishment that will result. Human rights encompass women's rights as well.

I had three boys and dreamt of having a little girl (which, blissfully, on the fourth attempt, I did). I know a great many formerly childless couples who reap the benefit of China's one-child-per-family law. Each of these couples have adopted beautiful baby girls from China that were unwanted. Some have adopted more than one. Your children are what you raise them to be and the dreams which you try to inspire them with. Boy ... girl .... what difference does it make? Your child is your child, no matter what the gender. And, as several people have pointed out, a woman can only contribute the X chromosome. The man can contribute either the X or the Y chromosome. It is NEVER the woman's fault.

KH... he killed 2 that day... a little girl and a woman. i almost lost both my wife and daughter when my little girl was born. life is fragile, more than most know. this less than human who murdered both of these souls needs to die in the most horrible way allowed. i just hope the relatives don't treat the little girl left behind like a slave as usually happens in that culture. the murderer proved that his family sees girls differently by killing her because she wasn't a son.

I do not think that Israeli media is in any way defaming this man by telling the fact that he is Palestinian by origin or living where he lives. I remember a murder case a few years ago, when a Jewish man had killed his 3 years old daughter and then buried her in a wooded area. The body was found thanks to a Palestinian man, who had seen the act and could tip the police. The nationalities of these people were clearly stated, though in that case the murderer was of Jewish origin (not to say that that means he was Jewish...) and the person who helped the police was Palestinian. I do not agree that Israeli media is racist. They just state the facts, as I can see it.
