The U.N. has long relegated itself a mere caricature of its design. Though there are still a few people who pretend to take this organization seriously (primarily those - e.g. Michael Hess, Matty Groves, etc. - who've memorized and spew out the numbers of all 5,000 Israel-condemning U.N. resolutions over the past 50 years), there is no one who really sees it as anything but a pathetic joke. And the joke is, more than anyone else, on the U.S. which provides 26% of the U.N.'s funding...more than any other country in the world. Truly pathetic.

With Libya as President of the Gen'l Assembly, and voted in the Human Rights Council, the clash of civilization is getting closer and closer. America has built the UN, it's headquarters, it's parking lots (the whole of Manhattan) as well as it's restaurants. It's neglect is turning out to be a carbon copy of the League of Nations. The US Govt is just of the right composition to accelerate the process.. Not since Arafat's rankling on the UN podium (standing ovation) with pistol at the ready (approved by this auguste Hall of peace), has the civilized world witnessed such a blatant disregard of human rights dignity, of law and order. This is allah's offerings to peace, to mankind, to the credulous, politically correct (and stupid) one.

I live in the United States roughly six months of the year, and in Israel roughly six months of the year. I take it the rest of your post is entirely discountable. The civilized world, by the way, doesn't think much of the United Nations. Put that in your smoke and pipe it.
