2. Where can we buy those products in the US?
Arthur ,   SF, CA   (05.18.10)
3. What arrogance?
Cynic #2   (05.18.10)
If the Palestinian decide not to buy the products of the settlements in the occupied territories, the settlers want compensation from Palestinian funds!!!!!! I never heard anything like this before. Has anyone else???
4. Keep doing it
Barbara ,   Australia   (05.18.10)
The settlers shouldn't be there in the first place. Burn their products.
5. Boycott, it`s not.
Ofer ,   Tel Aviv   (05.18.10)

6. wow they buy wine I thought it was haram
ghostq   (05.18.10)
in their cultur, after all 98% of them r Muslim, ti hi, Israeli wine I am fond of the drink, I guess more reason to buy it now and I will enjoy every schluck .
7. Find New Markets - Expand Existing Ones
Christy ,   Boston, US   (05.18.10)
Find New Markets for these items and take a fresh look at expanding existing markets. I think an 'Israeli Market' store done much like the 'Trader Joe' chain in the US, would do pretty good in the US. Creative marketing in the US could open up a larger market share for Israeli goods than there is now. Two groups of US consumers should be targeted - The Jews and The Evangelical Zionist Christians. What about a few Israeli-home cooking type restaurants? I bet there's people who would like to dine out on authentic Israeli cuisine.
8. It isn't economic terror, but it DOES abuse UN funds
A   (05.18.10)
because UN, American and EU funds are being used to pay for a boycott of Israel.
9. embarrasing settlers
sohail ,   beit duqqo   (05.18.10)
These settlers are simply losing there minds especially when You hear of a boycott as "economic terror" And the palestinians are only boycotting settlement Goods not israeli goods so how could u call that Terror I believe these settlers are more radical Than any hamas member
10. you can't be serious. this argument is beyond ridicioulous
pech   (05.18.10)
that makes Mahatma Gandhi a terrorist too. and the Americans who boycotted the British Indian tea company. economic boycott is a very strong non violent tool in the current late capitalistic society. no wonder the settlers are shaking with fear. but to go this low is embarrassing, even for them.
11. Yesha: you strip "terror" of any effective meaning!
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.18.10)
Why do you think the world media uses the term "terror" less and less? Because the term is being abused instead of respected--and you're now a primary abuser of the term! Talk about self-destruct! You've dropped a grenade down your own shorts calling it a pomegranate and pulled the pin. You've already made yourselves politically irrelevant and culturally alien to most of Israel. You need to dethrone the dumbass fanatic power-brokers who are pulling your strings and put someone in there who has a brain before you completely deconstruct. Paqid Yirmeyahu Paqid 16, The Netzarim, Ra'anana, Israel Israeli Torah-reverer (& Orthodox Jew) Advocate for Logic as Hermeneutic Halakhic Authority Welcoming All Torah-reverers (Jews & non-Jews)
12. Sigh...
Tomer ,   Hod Hasharon, Israel   (05.18.10)
Get real. It's up to them what they buy or don't. It's a perfectly valid way for them to express their views of the current situation. It doesn't lead to any loss of life or terrible injuries. Terrorism, it ain't. Intifada, it ain't.
13. EASY PLEASE. DONT USE THE WORD OF "TERROR" FOR ANYTHING.
ATİLLA KARAGÖZOĞLU   (05.18.10)
TRY TO UNDERTAND PALESTINIANS. THEY ARE TRYING TO STAND. STAND WITH HONOR. *** if settler need food ! we can send food and aid trucks to them. I AM NOT JOKING. BUT I KNOW YOU DONT NEED TOO.
14. Mr. Obama: Take Note!
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (05.18.10)
You claim to "hold accountable" all acts which undermine confidence building between the Arabs and the Jews. Well, now prove that you are not a hypocrite and hold the Arabs accountable for this provocative act. Please condemn this Arab boycott. We are waiting....
15. PLZ baby,Respond to them? this also will help us
Salma ,   Palestine   (05.18.10)
Settlers you can go Back to your Homelands If this is terror ,Because no one knows how "economic terror" can develop to another kind of terrorism, God forbid!!! all your products are produced on Palestinian land despite the citizens's non-acceptance,by use of power-position ...Is this not terrorism?!!! It is better for us to be free and enjoy the full benefits of one's own land and industry.
16. Unbeleivable
Gavriel ,   Budapest/Hungary   (05.18.10)
To burn food... To burn food in a poor country, where people hungry, to where israel dend food and aid, to burn it. You know what? I wish Israel will decide to ignore palestine authority and leave them in their shit, and let them to make own food and water, and whatever they want. Sooo idiot!
17. Sorry, but Pallis in this case are right.
John ,   Europe   (05.18.10)
EVERYBODY has right to boycott products of particular firm or corporation based on its own (or some universal) principles. I myself do not use L'Oreal since it tests on animals (I use exclusively Avon and Dead Sea Products, Israeli + do not tested on animals), and I have right to do so. So, if Palis want to boycott - it's their right and Yesha Council can screw themselves in this case. The matter of fact that it will hurt Palestinian economy - since good proportion of their money comes from settler's workers who are Palestinians - sorry, that's the consequence of a choice. Personally, I would welcome this boycott much more than Molotov on cars and slings and suicide bombers.
18. Thanks for the link ,,,now I know what to boycott
Indigenous ,   Nablus- Palestine   (05.18.10)
19. THE SETTLERS HAVE STARTED WHINING AND CRYING....

21. to #15 ok that will leave you the donations industry only :)
ghostq   (05.18.10)
I have a strong feeling you will develope smuggling industry very soon. :) ha the forbiding goods always tast better.
22. Hurts the Palestinians more than anyone..
R ,   Jerusalem   (05.18.10)
As the corrupt PA leaders hide behind their multi million dollar fortresses, they can afford to dictate to their people what they can and can't buy or who to work for. It does not matter to them that they keep their people in squalor, impoverished and without choice. Israel has many options and will not suffer. The Palestinian common people will suffer greatly as usual because their corrupt leaders don't care about their well being.
23. Counter economic measures en route
Adam Smith ,   Tel Aviv   (05.18.10)
When they can no longer bring in any goods from the PA through Israeli territory or sell anything to Israel they will relent. It is already about to happen and it will hurt the PA more than this PR measure will bring them.
24. PA Boycott
Simon ,   HCMC, Vietnam   (05.18.10)
Response could be very simple: any Israeli would be penalize with $15,000 per each Palestinian employed or served (medical, banking, or othervise). products from Judea and Samaria can be successfuly market in East European countries and Far East.
25. settlers talk.....
ale ,   italia   (05.18.10)
"This is an act of hostility with all intents and purposes on the part of the Palestinian Authority and its leaders, and it must be answered immediately and decisively just like any other act of hospitality," the settlers' body said in a statement. " setlers said????? acts of hostility are all jewish illegal settlement in palestine....not a paper. settlers said......incredible. so killer ask stealers want .....etc etc
26. # 4
J K ,   NYC, USA   (05.18.10)
When are you packing your bags and giving Australia back to the Aboriginies you stole it from? Probably about the same time I'm giving Manhattan back to the Indians. At lease the Jewish people have a long and storied history in their homeland. What's your excuse?
27. An entirely legitimate way to resist the occupation
Boycott Occupation   (05.18.10)
28. Syria ready to lose more land?
Thoma ,   Newport Mn   (05.18.10)
Ready for war or peace? I'd take peace if I were you Syria, No amount of rockets will ever get you a win. You will lose again I'm 100% sure. Thoma
29. The Arabs boycotted the Jewish economy between the years
Avigdor Ezrahi ,   Israel   (05.18.10)
1936 and 1939 and caused the Jewish economy to gain strength. The Arabs boycotted the entire economy of the state of Israel, and still do, and Israel has gained in economic strength and is not stopping there. This boycott may hurt at first some people - small operators for the most part - but Israel and its creative minds will turn this one into another source of strength and the people who will end up loosing will be the Arab once again. But more than anything, promoting the boycotting of the products of your neighbors and trying to hurt the livelihood of the people with whom you claim you want to live in peace reduces the level of trust in the Arabs to near "0" and on this basis no one would ever want to take risks towards peace. But, then, have the Arabs ever wished to live in peace with the Jewish people whose national home Israel is?
30. the list
