European socialists being used as Arab propaganda tools. For nothing, the ships will be re-routed to Israel and the activists sent home. In the end it will amount to a simple workout for the Israeli Navy

7. Reclaiming Our Language From The Left
Robert Blum ,   New Albany U.S.A.   (05.30.10)
Courtesy of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Thursday Israel will again be the target of a jihadist-leftist propaganda assault. A flotilla of nine ships which set sail for Gaza from Cyprus earlier this week is scheduled to arrive at our doorstep. The expressed aim of the flotilla's organizers is to unlawfully provide aid and comfort to Hamas - an illegal terrorist organization. Since it seized power in Gaza three years ago, Hamas, which is openly committed to the genocide of world Jewry and the physical eradication of Israel, has transformed the Gaza Strip into a hub of the global jihad. It has been illegally holding hostage Gilad Schalit incommunicado for four years. And it is continuously engaged in a massive, Iranian-financed arms buildup ahead of its next assault. Beyond providing aid to Hamas, the declared aim of the "Free Gaza" movement is to coerce Israel into providing Hamas with an outlet to the sea. This too is in contravention of international law which expressly prohibits states and non-state actors from providing any support to terrorist organizations. IN SENDING out the latest group of ships, Turkey and its Irish, Greek and Swedish partners seek to appropriate the imagery of the Jewish pre-statehood struggle for independence from Britain. In a bid to appease Hamas's jihadist precursors, in 1939 Britain's Mandatory authorities broke international law and prohibited Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine. The League of Nations' letter of mandate for Britain specifically enjoined the British to facilitate Jewish immigration to the land of Israel. Yet following the Arab terror war from 1936-1939, the British issued the White Paper that all but prohibited Jewish immigration. This move blocked the one place on Earth where European Jews were wanted from accepting them and so trapped 6 million Jews in Hitler's Europe. In the aftermath of the war, the British maintained their prohibition on Jewish immigration. To fight this British policy, the Zionist leadership in pre-state Israel organized the Aliya Bet program of illegal immigration. Jewish agents scoured the world for ships large enough to bring Europe's Jewish refugees to the land of Israel. The ship most emblematic of the era was the Exodus. The Exodus which set sail from France in July 1947 with 4,515 Jewish Holocaust survivors on board was the Zionist response to a new British policy to force illegal immigrant ships to return to Europe. The British rammed the Exodus in Haifa. They boarded and killed three Jewish defenders. They then forced its passengers to board British prison ships that would return them to Europe. French authorities denied the ships the right to land in France, so the British sailed on to Hamburg, Germany, where the refugees were forced to disembark. The international outcry against Britain in the wake of the Exodus affair shamed London into cancelling its new policy. It also paved the way for Israel's independence 10 months later. Now the Turkish, Greek, Swedish and Irish governments are colluding with Hamas to purloin the imagery of the Exodus and the heroism of the Jewish people in the years leading up to statehood and project that imagery onto a terrorist organization that seeks to complete Hitler's work. They further seek to invert reality by portraying Israel, which in accordance with international law is trying to contain and defeat Hamas, as a combination of the German Nazis and the British imperialists.

No international press attention? But you do not care about it, you just want to bring assistance (humanitarian. of course) to the only people that are suffering in this world..But you know what, I would really like to see photos of Greta Berlin sunbathing topless on Gaza beach. so, keep on trying..hehe..Maybe you can still get some attention..

11. Fllotilla organisers need TV time to slander Israel as they
Alan ,   SA   (05.30.10)
missed out in Jerusalem. A few months ago , the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem called on Muslims to enter the city en masse" to prevent the Jews from occupying Al Aqsa Mosque"He wanted images to be seen around the world of Israeli soldiers beating up young Arabs, deaths and injuries included. , He miscalculated. The Muslims understood his appeal the same way it was meant -- as a provocation -- and stayed home. There was no riot and the TV teams had to leave. (from info in Der Spiegel)
12. Pass the popcorn

Don't be surprised if the ship sinks and the Israeli Navy is called in for a rescue mission.
13. Ships for sale cheap!!!

15. Scared off?
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (05.30.10)
This says 3 freighters and 2 ships. Wasn't it 8 in total a day or two ago? Well I guess it is just the crazy ones now. If they try to stop Israeli soldiers from boarding the ships they're in for a world of problems. How do they plan on stopping them from coming aboard? Is a peace movement going to commit a violent act against an army?
16. # 9
Birdi ,   Israel   (05.30.10)
Oh John, so sorry to disappoint you, Greta Berlin id a 60+ year old, grey haired ugly old woman. You can do better !!
17. no, its NOT an "attack" on israel...
eporue ,   europe   (05.30.10)
its clear, that hamas in gaza is a terrorist organization and acts to destroy israel (if not some others too...) yes, hamas is hostile. but the ships come, to help the population in gaza - with medical supplies, wheelchairs, housing, school stationary. it is humanitarian aid. so, its not understandable, that you consider this aid as an attack on israel. its not meant as such, and it wouldnt work as one. haniyeh tries to make it look so.. make it look, as the world would turn against israel with this aid. to be honest, i think it is you, who fuels this claim, and maybe you even brought him to this idea... this is wrong, its nothing for hamas on this boats. and none of these boats means there is the slightest support for hamas. you are following the 100 % wrong strategy - in explaining, and in dealing with this matter. imo you do, and this i find so extra-gross, that you "strengthen" those idiots with everything you do and say...
18.  shame on "Israel" for trying and stop this
Salma ,   Palestine   (05.30.10)
Best of luck in your endeavors to help the Palestinians in their cause for freedom.
19. just excuse not to travel there, they don't want to
ghostq   (05.30.10)
go really, just alot of windbags that have no intentions of doing nothing.
20. Oh How I Love to Read Lovely Obituaries
meir elazar   (05.30.10)
Hopefully this event of Terrorist Support will provide lots of good obituaries. Please start writing now so they will be ready when the time comes. As many have pointed out, the irony is that these terrorist supporters are depending on the israeli conscience. I don't think they would want to sail towards Iran, North Korea, Russia, or Somalia or any other location with far greater human tragedies and people who would not hesitate for one moment to mete out the punishment that these Terrorist supporters so richly deserve. Berlin was the start of the Holocaust in the 20th century and hopefully this deranged Berlin of the 21st century will also go down in flames.
21. An Ideal time for an IDF navy exercise
meir elazar   (05.30.10)
I hope that the IDF puts together a navy exercise with live ammunition in the proximity of these ships. Every naval weapons should be tested and shot as close as possible to the ships trying not to hit but accidently do happen. They should literally scare the sh*t out of these terrorist supporters and show them that this is not a game and we really don't care what happens to them. All of their arguments are garbage. The terrorist have launched 10,000 rockets at our civilians and they said nothing. The terrorists kidnapped Shalit and they remained silent. The ideal thing to do is to capture the ships and all aboard and show them exactly what Gazans care for them. They and the boats should not be released until Shalit is free. This would show them how much Gazans care since Hamas would not release Shalit to secure the release of the boats and its crew and passengers. This would be the litmus test that would teach them the true nature of HAMAS, PRC, El Aqsa, etc.
22. #2 That's all it will ever be - Gaza.

23. #9 Why would you wamt to see...
Mike M. ,   Seattle, Wa.   (05.30.10)

25. # 17, dont be so naive
Birdi ,   Israel   (05.30.10)
Have you searched the boats for arms & weapons etc? NO you havent. Until you do, you have no right to assume the boats are all free of weapons.
26. 100 % of the world support a blockade of hamas (sea/air/land
eporue ,   europe   (05.30.10)
for weapons. 0 % support a blockade of chocolade and wheelchairs for the population. one would think, this is not rocket science. ... im disappointed, because i thought you are even good in rocket science...
27. " Folies Bergeres " it is not.
joe   (05.30.10)
Another of Israel's celebrated follies.---- Pay a bunch bunch of worthless desperados (about 800) free return air tickets , for the privilege of insulting the State, it's citizens, and give comfort to the enemy; gloating of "victory" and preparing a welcome bash for a bunch of idiots with nothing else to do with their miserable lives. And for this extravaganza, the Israeli citizen pays taxes, pays handsomely a bunch of politicians, who should be footing the bill for this intern'l circus. We do have plenty of clowns in the knesset, it should not create any problems. I only hope that it will not end in a disaster. For hamas it will be a " coup " since human lives are of no value to them , allah takes care of everything.
28. #17 eporue,good you started think ,
Salma ,   Palestine   (05.30.10)
This is the goal of "Israel" in the end, the strengthening of Hamas and extremism among Palestinians.
29. Is Israel not allowed to protect its self
Mark ,   Jerusalem   (05.30.10)
I am thinking of sailing to Cyprus today from Israel and I wanted to know if I need my passport or can I enter the country without being checked. I don't have much baggage just a few weapons and a missile launcher so I see there should be no trouble as they will not notice as I have them well hidden. I guess the answer is no as there are laws when going into other International waters. So how can a vessel expect to travel from Cyprus to Gaza without being checked by the Israeli authorities just like any other country would?
30. to #28 the extreme responsibility is palis only
ghostq   (05.30.10)
after all you chose to be extreme, Israel got nothing to do with your bad choises.
