I have generally been supportive of the israelis position, understanding in some ways that there was rights and wrongs on both side, not seen it as black or white. My doubts have been growing since the attack on Gaza last time, as I thought they were provoked, but thought their response was over the top and caused unneccesary civilian deaths. I am horrified that they could shoot in cold blood civilians on board a civilian ship in international waters. They had no right to demand access to the boat on international waters and to say they were reacting in self defense boarding this ship is unbelievable. If their were contraband ie guns and supplies for the militants, then they should produce it. This will only prove to the anti israeli side that the Israelis over react at all times and shoot on site anybody who opposes them. No Israeli was killed though reports mention one serious injury, so why shoot ten/sixteen people. This whole operation was dealt with stupidly. Why send in specialist army team I have never attended an anti Israeli march, but I expect to attend one this evening not to march against the israelis but to to show my support for those innocent people killed in this operation
