31. To 25 are u kidding?
Mehmet ,   Turkey   (06.01.10)
If we wanted to we would be in Tel Aviv in less than 24 hours. Your IDF and Military infrastrucute would cease to exist in the first 12 hours, you would be no match. Don't kid yourself about IDF. Not to mention NATO would be obliged to support Turkey. The next Flottila heading towards Gaza from Turkey will be accompined with our Military....at that point I would like to see what Israel will do. Lift a finger I we will show it up in your arse.
32. To Albrecht Klein
Kemal   (06.01.10)
Are you so worry about Sultan Erdogan and the come back? Under one umbrella and guess what is that umbrella?
33. Weak Obama rsponse
Shazam ,   US   (06.01.10)
While he laments the loss of life he ignores stating the Israeli action was legal under UN and international law. It is a token gesture, like his dismay about the UN NPT conference last week which singled out Israel but said nothing of NPT violators North Korea and Iran, nor of non-NPT Pakistan & India.
34. Can anyone tell me
Uzziel   (06.01.10)
how and when the WTC workers attacked the muslum on the planes and/or the arab/muslum world with guns, knives and iron clubs?
35. Chickenhearted Turkeys ....
Janice Cohen ,   ירושלים   (06.01.10)

tea man ,   marjayoun   (06.01.10)
otherwise the world shall end on a sad note mega terrorist shall not prevail
37. What an insult
American ,   New York, USA   (06.01.10)
For this Turkish fool to even compare 9/11 to what just happened is the most insulting thing I have ever heard. I was in NYC when 9/11 happened. Only a complete idiot, or perhaps a Turkish politician, would have the audacity to compare the two events. The Turks are the ones who allowed this whole provocation to occur in the first place. They've been mouthing off at Israel for months and gave the green light for this large flotilla to confront Israel.
38. The world has double standards.
Felicia ,   Israel   (06.01.10)
Any intelligent person can see that the Israelis were in a lynch situation . They were ambushed with steel rods, knives and shot at with live amunition and steel balls by the waiting gangs on board that ship.
39. #32 Kemal
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (06.01.10)

hakim ,   Palestine   (06.01.10)
I fully agree. Add Iran, Syria, Labanon and Palestine in the mix and Israel will be surprised with a few tricks. Wait and watch as the clock ticks...
43. Kemal ATATURK is dead
LIONEL B ,   France   (06.02.10)
the world has enjoyed decades of peaceful Turkey thanks to the revolution initiated by the late ATATURK, but now the country is what is used to be : an islamist state at he doors of EUROPE with allies as SYRIA and IRAN. GOOD LUCK
44. This was to be Turkey's 9/11
MenachemP ,   NYC USA   (06.02.10)
This was to be Turkey's 9/11 but it did not wrok out that way. There were 50-100 Jihadists on board who were sent to attack the Israeli booarding parties with cold weapons. focring the Israelis to fire back ave themselves Thety wanted to have the Israelis kill as many people on board as possible., better still singk the ship. the more dead, the more Isolated and loathed Israel would become. Unfortunately, for the Turks israel did not kill enough people. heck more people are killed in bar fights and birthday parties tha go bad. Yeseterday it was a massacre, Today its 9//1, tomorrow it will be genocide. Oops. Turkey will never use the word genocide because that may trigger memories of the 1,5 million Armenians that the Turks butchered in WW1.

Marty ,   Canada   (06.01.10)
George, you clearly have spent too much sun in the hot desert sun. It has addled your cretinous brain. You really ought to watch something other than Al Jazira to find out what's really going on.

48. paintball guns
Jonathan ,   Atlanta, GA USA   (06.02.10)
On the video, well into the attack upon the Israelis, I can clearly see an Israeli commando shooting a paintball gun.....it is clear as day...Paintball guns have a large reservoir on top of the gun......clearly visible on the video. The restraint the Israelis showed is amazing and they should all receive an award. G-d Bless Israel !
49. #31 Mehmet, LMAO
Harry ,   NY   (06.02.10)
Funniest thing I've heard all day. You sound like one of those little dogs that barks a lot. But who knows maybe you are right, after all Turkey is known as one of the strongest military powers in the world. We'd better think twice. and yeh, NATO, pfft, what are we going to do.
50. No.1, Claudia, thank You for your perfect
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (06.02.10)

51. #40---Palestinian Dove?
Len ,   Florida, USA   (06.02.10)
Go watch the video---the problem is the Palestinian Dove is not a bird of peace. It is like your "peace activists" who know nothing of peace. Go look at the video. This is your democracy, it is is mob rule--you know nothing of freedom and responsilbilty. You have no understanding of dissent and minority rights. You know nothing of comedy. Try being gay or a woman or an atheist in your society. Your glorify violence as an ideal...you are a bad people because..you teach your kids to hate....
52. # 19 you are right it was UFO who attacks
tea man ,   marjayoun   (06.02.10)
the relief ship and turkey should turn its anger against UFO and kill them
53. King Erdogan
Hans   (06.02.10)
Standing back looking at the situation: Israel has established a long standing blockade of Gaza. A turkish-backed aid convey attempted to BREAK through it. Attempting to break through a blockade appears highly IRRESPONSIBLE and antagonistic; especially having been warned they would be intercepted. Ensuring agreement of safe passage of ANY aid convey past ANY blockade that needs to be traversed is the ONLY responsible means of ensuring tragedies like this do not occur. Approaching a military presence and failing to listen to their instruction puts all parties in a very difficult situation. Risk was assumed by the aid convey not only approaching the blockade (without agreement being reached ahead to ensure safe passage) but then attempting to break through it. Choosing to ignore military instruction at sea will almost certainly lead to being boarded. What did the aid convey expect? I find the parallels to piracy highly tenuous. Piracy is an opportunistic act for net benefit. The boarding of this aid convey is to the contrary on both counts. Aid conveys must run their operations in a responsible fashion. Doing so will remove the risk of such tragedies transpiring. It is painful to read about what has happened here as it could so well have been avoided. Groups that fail to act in the interests of the international community should be held accountable. Setting sail as an aid convey without safe passage being agreed with nations that have blockades that need to be traversed should not be viewed as acceptable. International community step up – take responsibility by the horns so such events do not happen! Ataturk must be turning in his grave.

AKP scoundrels said that "democracy is a train ride, one can hop off whenever." Who knows if they'll ever give up power. For now they're busy framing their generals and political adversaries.
