1. Mainstream Media
Elizabethlynne ,   Dallas, Texas   (06.03.10)
Has anyone ever seen an article in the mainstream media, other than Fox News, addressing the fact that the people in many parts of Israel have to live with the threat of rockets in their neighborhoods? Any concern about the effect on the children who have about 45 seconds to get off the playground into shelters? Any concern at all for any JEWISH victims? No, the BBC, CNN and most of the news sources in the EU are strangely silent. Does that seem just or moral to you? No, I didn't think so.

4. It's Time To Remind Hamas
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (06.03.10)
It's time for the IDF to remind these neanderthals what will happen if they continue to attack Israel. It's the only language they understand.
5. peace activists
Ilana   (06.03.10)
I am sure they are happy to see some action. Rockets of peace. Meant to caress civilians. Or perhaps they just have fun smuggling in rockets, wasting American and European money, and then shooting them into open areas-all just for fun.
6. those are just humanitarian rockets
peace activists   (06.03.10)
7. Hamas Leadership Calling the Shots
Douglas Fireman ,   Niles (USA)   (06.04.10)
Now let's see if the United Nations is going to condemn the Hamas criminals anytime soon for shooting missiles into Israel.
8. Qassams
Marcus ,   West Sweden   (06.04.10)
Flood the tunnels.
9. I wish a few "peace kassam rockets" to fall in Turkey
Dan   (06.04.10)
so they'll understand how it feels to be unsecure being surrounded by terrorists.
10. Israeli fighter jets.... on Tuesday
lara ,   Australia   (06.04.10)
Then Quassm rockest on Thursday... I guess no one bothered to read the last Paragraph that's so cleaverly tucked away in the corner of that article. Attack, then retaliation... this has been going on for decades. "Peace" activists, you say it like it's the new definition for "terrorist". Read more than just the bold heading of an article.
11. Media
Arul   (06.04.10)
What do you expect from the biased media like BBC, CNN and Al-Jazera. They will , if at all they say something, will say these are harmless small rockets. When Israel reacts, it will be disproportionate response!! what a nonsense.
12. Elizabeth. Dallas, TX.
Thomas ,   Dixieland USA   (06.04.10)
The Mainstream Media is owned and directed by Marxist Jews in its entirety . No exception. The first Israel bashing article was printed by the prominent Jewish controlled N.Y. Times. All rabid Israel hating commentators in the media are Jewish. Some, like "mundoweiss" exceeds the vitriol level of the Nazi "Der Stürmer. Are these facts news to you? Should you need shock therapy go to Haaretz, the depravity and filth is mind boggling.
13. Hamas
rockets   (06.04.10)
stop this nonsense and hit back - hard nobody will respect you ,if you just take it other countries will complain , so what

16. It Was Stupid to Release the Activists
Meir Elazar   (06.04.10)
They should have been detained until Shalit was release shifting the focus of the world onto Shalit as the only condition of their release. But in the meantime, Israel would have had an opportunity to show them the constant bombardment of Sderot and the condition that the civilians live under first hand. Furthermore, this would show them why the Blockade is necessary. Furthermore, they should have been shown the statistics and damage of the terror since the start of the second Intifada. The whole handling of the Flotilla incident was botched whereas it was an absolutely golden opportunity to show the world what HAMAS and terror are all about. Sharon would have handled this correctly and not let HAMAS exploit this incident for their benefit.
17. For those ignorant Turks and "human rights" supporters:
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (06.04.10)
With every qassam rocket, the Palestinians prove that Gaza is indeed a haven for war criminals: "... the [Goldstone] report contains the clearest finding that Hamas and other militant Palestinian groups committed serious war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity. The acceptance of those findings by the Human Rights Council and the General Assembly has been ignored completely..." Richard Goldstone, Interviewed by Ha'aretz, Nov 13 2009
18. War crimes
Ron B. ,   Lod   (06.04.10)
Israel is free to employ ALL munitions, tactics, equipment and personnel in her arsenal to defend herself against the outlaw Hamas terrorist organization. Short of the intentional targeting and murder of truly uninvolved and innocent civilians, Israel can (and should) operate as freely as she desires to protect her territorial sovereignty and the lives of her citizens. “If Hamas attempts to shield its operations with truly innocent civilians or children—it is Hamas and not Israel, who has committed an atrocity -an actionable war crime-of the most heinous proportion!” Just consult : http://xrl.us/bf3g9f
19. Fruit of Condemning Israel
Ed ,   USA   (06.04.10)
Every mainstream media critique of Israel for the arms embargo of Gaza and for preventing the Turkish ships from docking in Gaza provides a moral sanction of Hamas's violent attacks.
20. CNN BBC ect. did't say a single word!!!
hypocracy   (06.04.10)
where is the report about that?
21. retaliation
david cohen ,   china   (06.04.10)
i didnt hear of any retaliation to this missile attack. why was not a secret base or a tunnel bombed by the Air Force as a retaliation?
22. Failed rockets must have been delivering humanitarian aid.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.04.10)
And, I have a very few pieces of the Brooklyn Bridge still for sale.
23. Retalliation
Stewart ,   Edinburgh   (06.04.10)
Rockets on Thursday....retalliation on Tuesday???????????? haven`t you got it the wrong way round?! Hamas and Bibi...two sides of the same coin!
24. Sometimes..
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (06.04.10)
..is better to remain silent, especially if you do not know what are you talking about, dear Stewart. It is a policy for quite some time now, that every Qassam attack from Gaza is answered the same night through the air raids, mostly attacking smuggling tunnels. So, let's go day by day, should we? Tuesdays attack was a reply to Monday's Qassam attack, the reply for Thursday attack is coming. And, btw, I don't blame you for your ignorance. It is the international media (they published the Monday Qassam attack on the first page, right?), which informs you so nicely and non-biased about ME.
25. I think we should hold back
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.04.10)
.... the toys and medicines and medical equipment that were carried on the floptilla. They're firing missiles into Israel and Israel is worried about them? Oh, I think not. I suppose we could do a really large bonfire -- you know, like what the Palestinians on the West Bank did with Israeli products. You cannot reason with animals. You have to speak in the only language that they understand. That's my new mantra. Starve Gaza into submission. Cut off their water. Cut off their electricity. Cut off their "humanitarian" aid. They do not appreciate it and do not respect it. Do whatever has to be done to make the missiles stop. Those animals respect and understand only strength. Compassion has no meaning to them. So let's stop being so compassionate, at least until the missiles stop flying.
26. John - we could go day by day for the past 62 years.
lara ,   Australia   (06.04.10)
But that would entail years of research so let's focus on what is recent.... 4th of May - Settlers tourched a Mosque in the West Bank. They also tourched a Mosque in December. 12th of May - settlers tourched olive groves. In April the settlers tourched 3 Palestinian cars in Huwwara and spray painted on a Mosque. 2 days later they tourched 2 Palestinian cars in Jinsafut village. So they get called settlers by the media, but a Palestinian is a terrorist and killed for stepping foot outside of the strip? Did you say something about being "non-bias"?
27. Sarah - the only compassion you know is for your own kind
lara ,   Australia   (06.04.10)
These people have never been shown compassion by Israel. Israel has only shown their own greed. Taking the homes of others and continuing to expand settlements until millions of people are imprisoned and prohibited from leaving a strip of land is far from compassionate.
