61. #43 - Kurds have a legitimate right to a State
William ,   Israel   (06.06.10)
The Kurds, unlike the so-called "Palestinians", have a long, documented history including self-rule and a distinct culture. They have been under occupation for centuries and deserve their own State, a place at the UN, and to be recognized as an entity at the upcoming Olympic Games.
62. #52 Genocide spree? Oh, terrible Turks!!!
(06.06.10)
Turks also genocided 1,5million mosquitos, 2 million rats, 3million cows as they eat meat... Oh, the only one they did not genocide is Jews. Turks actually sent ships to Spain to rescue Jews from Spanish Inquisition. Turkish diplomats risked their lives to save Jews from Nazis in Greece. One Turkish diplomat's pregnant wife was killed because of his aide to Jews. Another Turkish diplomat saved thousands of Jews from Nazi-collaborator France government. Jewish academics were invited to Turkey after they were kicked out of Germany. Oh well, Turks are bad, aren't they?

KURRI-MITANNI - WAS THE NAME OF TODAYS KUDISTAN IN THE 15th CENTURY B.C. URARTU IN THE 8th CENTURY B.C KURDISTAN IS THE KINGDOM OF MEDIA IN HISTORY. FURTHER - ANKARA OR ANGORA BY THE WAY, IS A CELTIC TOWN, AND THE PEOPLE OF CENTRAL TURKEY IS CELTS. THEY FOUNDED THE HETITTE KINGDOM IN HISTORY, AS THE HETITTES WAS A CELTIC PEOPLE. KURDISTAN WILL BE FREE, IN A SHORT SPACE OF TIME. Arn.
64. Presposterous! How low can some Turks get?
Maurice ,   Montreal   (06.06.10)
65. Long overdue
Alex ,   Toronto, Canada   (06.06.10)
It is the next logical step taken by Turkish government. If you can't govern - blame the jews for all your failures. Having said that, Israel should respond in kind and support enemies of its enemies. That's just common sense.
66. PAYMENT
TURK ,   ISTANBUL   (06.06.10)
IF YOU WANT SOMETHING...YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT...ISRAEL- KURDS OR ANYONE....WE TURKS LIVE WITH THIS PRINCPLE
67. #43 I guess you mean the Palestinians have that right too?
Edithann ,   USA   (06.06.10)
TATA
68. #61...you're not telling the real truth...
(06.06.10)
There are no exceptions, and it's obvious you're making excuses.. ...But it doesn't work that way......Palestinians have been there for centuries...and it seems no one wants the Kurds to have their own state...think it might be for a reason? Palestinians had their lands stolen by European Jews...and entirely different scenario..and they deserve their own state...it's the European Jews who don't deserve a state on Palestinian land...! TATA
69. #47 +#55 You're so slippery, Matty
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (06.06.10)
Your comments are invariably those of someone has entered this fray post-1967. You never refer to the Balfour Declaration or the League of Nations mandates by the Council of the League of Nations on 24 July 1922 addressing the root causes of this conflict. Your pretty words, (although today you've lost it) obsessed with the wrong details served on a platter of hate. Dr Jacques Gauthier can set you straight with his doctorate on 'Who owns Jerusalem' and more. That'll save you some time getting to the truth instead of your Pallywood Productions. And may I remind you that you've slithered away from answering my simple question from THREE previous threads now. Are you Michael Hess?
70. Turkey fosters its own enemies all by itself
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (06.06.10)
Turks seem to be veering into paranoid schizophrenia. Yet there's no need to go searching for those devious Jews when Turkey itself has a long history of creating enemies. After centuries of subjecting the Greeks and Balkans to Turkish (mis)rule, after slaughtering and oppressing Armenians and Kurds, and even today subjecting Turkish Christians to discrimination, there's hardly need for Jewish provocation to stir others against the Turks.
71. :: Mark - #69
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.06.10)
This has been covered many times before and if I have not answered your previously it is because the answer has not changed - no I am not M Hess.
72. :: #67 indeed Arabs have the right
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.06.10)
to resist the occupation in the homeland of Hejaz by the Saudi Mafia tribe Anywhere else in the Middle East and North Africa Arabs are the occupiers and must be resisted by the Natives until all Arabs repatriate to Hejaz.
73. Turk From Istanbul
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.06.10)
Yes I know in Turkey nothing is free. Even your constitutional rights are not free. If want a drivers licence you have to pay a Bahsis (Bribe) . You want to build a house in your own property you have to bribe the mayor. When a german company wants to do business with your country your PM asks for a luxury bus for his AKP or in an other case even had the audacity to ask for an airplane. You can be proud of this. Bravo
74. #36 That's old news brother
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.06.10)
Get with the program. It's all about oil and gas. These are deals Turkey signed prior to and concurrent with Erdogan cutting ties with Israel. Nothing to do with the Palestinians. When the Regime has problems (when don't they), they blame "outside influence" ie Israel, US, Green Party, Bahai, squirrels etc. What Iran does, Turkey now is sure to follow. Both have opposition to their power. Both have created internal and external enemies. Both have serious economic problems. Now Turkey has committed a terror attack against Israel as an Iranian proxy.
75. Free Kurdistan
Ariel ,   Canada   (06.06.10)
I agree with Frank's idea of a "Freedom Flotilla". Let's assume that the freedom flotilla to the Kurds would comprise of solely humanitarian goods, the Turks woudl still reject it, let alone kill everyone on board. The hypocrite Turk and Arab nations need to clean up their own sh!t problems before trying to arm terror groups in Gaza. Long live Israel, and long live Kurdistan.
76. #68 - Hmm, Turkish, British records already dispute that
William ,   Israel   (06.06.10)
Infact, Abbas went to Turkey to get Ottoman-era land records to prove "Palestinian" ownership of land, then he quickly ceased his activities after getting documents. Could it be because it would show only 5% of the land was in private hands and totally blow his narrative to sh*t?? The Brits have plenty of evidence of illegal Arab economic migration - the same people you claim are "natives" and "have been there for centuries". Hmmm - who to believe....a racist old bat with a narrow knowledge of history or government documents from the very people ruling the land? Tough call.
77. #62 - but THOSE Turks weren't Islamists
William ,   Israel   (06.06.10)
As secular Turks would point out quickly.
78. #68 you could not be more wrong
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.06.10)
Jews are indigenous to Palestine. Read the history. There has always been Jews in Palestine even under Ottoman rule. In fact My Great Great father Musa Franco was the last Ottoman appointed Grand rabbi of Jerusalem. However Kurds did originate and always lived in eastern Anatolia. They are indigenous to that land while Turks came from central Asia. You knw last year Turks and PM Erdogan were somehow upset about their UIGHUR brother's in China being mistreated. But this is the funny thing. While there were many Uighur Turks being killed in China He did not do anything and yet when it comes to Gaza somehow he roars like a lion. Is he Turkish or Arab? Whose interest is he protecting? The poor Uighur Turks in China or the Arabs who had once stabbed the Turks in the back during WW I?
79. we are Turks

80. Own medicine ?
Michael ,   Seattle, USA   (06.07.10)
Turkey didn't blow up anything or anybody, the activists didn't have any serious weapon, a knife or a steel bar is not a weapon when you know you're getting commandos dropped on you, they could easily have got guns if they wanted to. Now, if you insist on breaking the links with Turkey go ahead, that will add a few tens of thousands unemployed people to Israel, and simply convince other countries to boycott Israel. Once your economy reaches the level of Gaza, I guess you still start thinking twice about what people outside of Israel say before you act.
81. Yasin Fehmi
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.07.10)
Israelis don't kill. In fact Israelis love their Arab and Muslim brothers and 1 Million of Arabs / Muslims live as citizens of Israel. In Turkey there used to be aboiut 100 thousand Jews. Today only 20 thousand. This is because uneducated or half educated extremist Turks like you attacked Jews in Kirklareli in 1936, passed the varlik vergisi and attacked Jews again in 1955 september 6-7. Before you attack Jews look at the mirror and see your own killings in history like the siege of Vienna.
82. you sound silly
Andres ,   USA   (06.08.10)
You sound like a bully, bet you were when young. As the saying goes, takes one to know one.
