1. According to the OFFICIAL PA charter
Arie ,   BaGolan   (06.08.10)
All of the territories from the Jordan River to the Sea are "illegal settlements occupied by the criminal Zionist entity"
2. It All Starts at Home My Arab Friends
Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (06.08.10)
Okay, so hows bout no Jew buying any product sold by the so-called Palestinians, whether in the W. Bk, Gaza Strip or anywhere else, including their diaspora? I have repeatedly called for we Diaspora Jews knowing which products were listed among the 500 and how WE can purchase them. I know many Jews and Christians who will spend our skekels accordingly. So far, nothing in response. 200m dollars is not a lot for US to undermine the boycott. Also, we should refrain from buying any oil and natural gas, which is imported through OPEC. There is local gas or gasoline from Canada and Mexico. If Israel begins to pipe oil..well hows about importing some of it? Bottom line: its not about 22,000 workers, it's about not buying "Jewish Zionist goods. The burning of the books comes to mind. And they claim they want 2 states, side by side, in peace and economic cooperation. It starts at home guys.

4. Palestinian minister: boycott only...
Saragosti Shemtov   (06.08.10)
When will israelis wake up and boycott arab factories and laborers? Our enemies have much more to lose than we do. Everything they do strengthen us. They are soooo stupid!!!!! Am Israel Hai
5. You boycott what you want but don't be surprised
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (06.08.10)
Israel will boycott what it wants. Boycott goes both ways and each side has the right to boycott by its own rules not the other side's rules!
6. Translation
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.08.10)
"We are scrambling backwards as fast as we can to ensure that we do not starve to death. Our brother Arabs have failed to pick up the slack (yet again), and the PA has not used its considerable foreign aid to do anything to bolster food production in the areas controlled by the Palestine Authority." What care I? You can all starve, as far as I'm concerned. You will either accept food products from the settlements, or you can die of starvation. Frankly, the latter prospect does not trouble me in the least. That's what you get for burning millions of food products. Perhaps the PA leadership can pry open their bank accounts with a crowbar, and buy the average Palestinian some food with those stolen funds. No pity. You reap what you sow.
7. palestinian minister
Yonatan ,   Jerusalem   (06.08.10)
boycott only against settlement products, wrong again how can it be that you people keep making the same mistakes all the time? WE ARE ALL SETTLERS settling quite nicely I'll have you know in the land the creator gave to us
8. Hitler, Waffen SS, Grand Mufti, Hamas/Hezbollah
Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (06.08.10)
Can someone list a few products which we can buy in the Diaspora from the 500. This is about cutting all ties to the Jewish state, ALL ties. There has been a boycott against Israel by the Arab-Muslim world since 48. So what is new, except now we have the British Mandate Arabs in Western Palestine contributing their hatred. This is all about hatred, for everything Jewish. Lets not fool ourselves. The double think, double talk and outright lies by the Arabs continue unabated. Yes, they want a state, from the Med. to the Jordan River ( maybe beyond?), sans the descendents of Isaac. In otherwise, Judenrein ( Hitler's term for areas w/o Jews after their action squads, SS groups, Waffen SS, Einsatzgruppen and German police 101. (Not to forget Arab Waffen SS-Grand Mufti's boys, which murdered thousands in Serbia). They wanted to exterminate ALL the Jews in Palestine, but Rommel lost. Let's not forget history, posters.
9. Fire Them, Send Them to Jordan/Syria/Egypt
Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (06.08.10)
This Arab says it's only about Pales economic independence, meaning, w/o Jew involvement. This is the burning of the books circa 1930s in Germany, but with products. Everything they do is part of a grand conspiracy: no gays in a parade, attacking Michael Oren, Bibi Netanyahu and Alan Dershowitz, the Arab Leagues continuing embargo on oil, Turkey's current policy on water, Egypt's academic boycott, Belgiums and Englands trade unions boycotts of Israeli made goods, not allowing Israeli medicine, demonstrating in a London retail store, boycotting goods at Trader Joes (US), threatening rock groups and singers (Elvis Costello), etc. Today the W. Bk goods, tomorrow? To Israel: send them a message...(you have the high ground). Don't buy THEIR products, don't buy tourism trinkets, look to hire foreign or local unemployed Jews or sincere Arabs, hit them beneath the belt and hard. They are doing it to you. Show no pity or mercy. They don't like it, buy them one-way tickets to their camps abroad. No return policy.
10. good move pa
Elisheva   (06.08.10)
I actually think this is a really hopeful move on behalf of the pa, for once. It sounds like they've changed their tune and have become more reasonable and ready to do peace. Too bad they have no political clout left. I won't hold my breath for the hamas to come out with the same sense.
11. Dear Settlers: I don't get it...
Yitzchak ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (06.08.10)
I am not upset with the Palestineans. They are doing what they perceive is good for themselves. Good for them. I AM FURIOUS at the settlers for NOT YET HAVING FIRED EVERY SINGLE PALESTINEAN WORKER that work in their settlements and businesses. Shame on you, you UNFAITHFUL MONEY-HUNGRY heretics who are no different than anybody else who puts money above G-d.
12. Positive Move???
Andi ,   Israel   (06.08.10)
What this means is that DO support trade with Israel, and wish to expand it, as he says. This is recognition of Israel as never before. More positive acts like this and we may actually start to believe that they want to live side by side with us, within a two state solution agreement.
13. Arabs workers
TAHRIR QUDS ALYAHUDI   (06.08.10)
no arabs workers to be allowed to come to Israel to work
14. ISRAELI
JUDAH THE LION   (06.08.10)
Jews should not employ any arabs or palistinians. They boycott Israeli goods and we should not employ them. The whole world will start to burkkkkk
15. PA cant have it both ways
Israeli grandma   (06.08.10)
The campaign against "settlement" products is just playacting for political gain. They want our superior products in their shiny supermarkets in Ramallah, and its so embarrassing that local Arab products are inferior. They dont want our Israeli currency, but will not be able to survive if they issue their Monopoly Money as threatened. They for sure want to be treated in our modern Israeli hospitals & take our effective Israeli-made medicines. They also want to continue to benefit from Israeli produced and supplied electric current, clean water and unadulterated gas for their fancy cars. I dont hear any calls to boycott electricity coming through the big complex outside Ariel!!
16. boycott Strauss diary,please
natasha ,   ISRAEL   (06.08.10)
