Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (06.09.10)
Here's a link to the best information about the Turkish gov't.'s involvement in the flotilla & it's ties to terrorist organizations. http://www.terrorism-info.org.il/malam_multimedia/English/eng_n/html/hamas_e110.htm This is the site of the Intelligence & Terrorism Information Center & the title of the article is, ''IHH Preparations for a Violent Confrontation with IDF Soldiers Aboard the Turkish Ship Mavi Marmara.'' Worth looking at.

6. VIVA OTTOMAN KILLERS OF ARABS
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (06.09.10)
Now Arabs are kissing with Ottoman heirs but they forgot the times when they were massacred whole tribes to the last man. woman an child just for spitting on some lowly Turkish official. This alliance is temporary to suit Neo-Ottoman interests but at the right moment Turks will again throw Arabs to the dogs.
7. 2* Thank you Terry
Nora Tel Aviv   (06.09.10)
Thanks for the information about the Turkish government`s involvement and ties with IHH. I will send this information to the four corners of the world. I hope other readers will do the same.
8. why examine flotilla activists' side; didn't Israel do?
observer   (06.09.10)
do they think that Israel will be impartial, covering up? Israel is even willing to probe its own army, instead of leaving the job for foreign investigator? be sure that Israel's probe is credible and transparent as always be?
9. Are the people on the boat going to be questioned?
Danny   (06.09.10)
Is the Turkish leadership going to be questioned? If not then why not
10. Some things don't add up
Resistor   (06.09.10)
We are told to believe that highly trained IDF troops are lowered into the waiting arms of activists, only armed with paintball guns and pistols. The highly trained IDF then complain that they were "beaten", and could not defend themselves. Then in self defence against these nasties, they fire their pistols at point blank range into the heads of some of the activists, like an execution. Then Israel tells the world to forget about it and move on, and that they will investigate themselves, and come to the conclusion that nothing illegal, immoral happened, and that the world should butt out. Why did the IDF not allow the injured to be tended to for 3 hours, in which case some of the wounded died?
11. Israel in the right for sure!
K.O'Neil ,   London uk   (06.09.10)

13. Thank you, Terry from Eilat for providing
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (06.09.10)
the reference to how the flotilla was organized, what they brought on board and what their real intentions were. Very instructive.
14. This is not a world that accepts truth.
Brother Joe ,   Bay Parkway   (06.09.10)
It loves lies, falsehoods, and evil. That is why "palestinian" propaganda is to a certain extent successful.
15. So the form of this enquiry
Ivor Biggun   (06.09.10)
will be an independent enquiry by third parties someone from New Zealand has been mentioned. With the only proviso which Netanyahu has managed to wrangle from the International Community that IDF soldiers will not be interviewed on account that no other country allows their soldiers to be interviewed. OK off to THe Hague to clean Baraks new accomodation.
16. #10 I understand
ben Ish   (06.09.10)
I finally understand what you mean by "Resistor" ... it means "Resistor of Reality and Truth" right? right?
17. More Israeli hilarity
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (06.09.10)
Wow, so you know tjte 'truth'? Then why not demand of Bibi and the IDF the total release of all media and documentation 'captured' from the flotilla. Complete, unedited and unexpurgated. Or are these also 'state secets' which can only be released after careful editing? Not only are average Usraelis cowards, but so is the Israeli nedia if they do not demand the same.
18. BRITAIN ALSO INVESTIGATES ITSELF
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne,   (06.09.10)
I suggest to Mr Netanyahu that if he gets any objection from the UK government,he throws the 'Bloody Sunday' enquiry into their faces. For those who don't know,Bloody Sunday is the name given to the shooting dead of 13 unarmed people on a march in Londonderry in 1972 by British paratroopers. There have been 2 enquiries into the events, both British, and I'm not aware or anyone demanding that there should be an international enquiry.NO BRITISH GOVERNMENT WOULD AGREE TO THAT. What's good for Britain should be good for Israel, too. But there is a proviso. The latest judicial enquiry has taken 7 years, cost £200,000,000 and is still unpublished. So what I also suggest is that,if the pressure on Israel for an independent enquiry builds up,Mr Netanyahu should agree as long as it's conducted by the British judiciary and paid for by the UN.Even after 13years of New Labour political interference, the British judiciary remains impartial and Israel would have nothing to fear. There'd also be the advantages that you could forget about it for a long time, possibly forever, avoid a huge cost and bleed the UN of funds that it would otherwise waste on bad purposes. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
19. #17 Yes Mike, we do and even .....
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (06.09.10)
...more hilarious is you're so deluded that you see the 'Peace Activists of the Marmara hitting themselves with their own rods as the IDF soldiers rappel on to the deck
20. #10 Yeah why are you here?.. and not at
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (06.09.10)

21. Thanks for the link, Terry
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (06.09.10)
22. activists are seeking independent inquiry, Israel evading
(06.10.10)
very clear
23. If investigation is needed Israel will do it OR NONE AT ALL.
Stephen ,   Albany/USA   (06.10.10)
Besides why does Israel need to investigate what we already know who began the whole CRAPA? Frankly i wouldn't even give them the pleasure of Israel to invastigate! Do any other world country investigate either themselves,or by FIAT of foreigners? Why is it always Israel and not for instance the USA (where i live at present) or Pakistan,Iraq,Afghanistan,Korea, Philipines shall i go on? I am furious at the audacity of the demands upon Israel by the PIGS AND DOGS.WhAT OF Iran doing it,not only within their country, but transporting it to terrorists hizballah, syria, lebanon . Unbelievabe chutzpah.Who the hell are these lot wanting investigatiion. Investigastion for injuring the IDF soldiers? prepared for attacks with FLACK JACKETS,GRANADES,KNIVES,What, what? When will Israel STAND UP STRAIGHT AND ROBUSTLY? When?when? The chanting in turkish was by the rebelrousers was: YOU ARE STANDING UP TURKEY! That is a correct translation (I speak turkish you see) So,let them INVESTIGATE THEMSELVES MORE TO THE POINT.
24. To Terry A quick response.
Stephen ,   Albany/USA   (06.10.10)
Went to said link.We already knew what went on.but I put a short cut just in case i can be bothered. No criticism to your offer, but did you know (wrote it before)that the IHH is linked to Al-Qaida ,and the turks have been playing patty cake with them since before 9/11. Time has come for Israel to stop being so,soft to its enemies. Not only the Arabs within the country, but ones surrounding it. Do the Israeli leaders know that Islamists take this NOT AS SUPPOSED DEMOCRASY,BUT WEAKNESSY! mavi,shmavi--all it means is: BLUE MARMARA piffle which was full of JIHADISTS that among the 9 dead were all bloody turks. The so-called American(as usual) A muslim turk.NO BETTER. Does anyone remember the muslim american soldier during DESERT STORM throwing a grenade into the tent of his comrades in Iraq? These people will never change.Once a MUSLIM that's it. American muslim,British Muslim, French muslim,Dutch muslim...... Shall I go on? Throw them to the wolves that is where they belong.Evil bastards and barbarians all. Even the ones who purportedly are liberal or atheists maked NO DIFFERENCE.Its in their blood/genes.
25. It now seems to me that the other main objective
Harry Wright ,   UK   (06.10.10)
(apart from scoring a PR victory) was to get the huge sum of money to Hamas under the cover of "provocation" and "humanitarian aid". When the vessel failed to reach Gaza, the money was farmed out to those on board so Erdogan's name would not be sullied by accusations of him providing financial assistance to a "terrorist organization". After all, he must appear lily white and morally upright to the EU he is courting. That is the only reason that can account for the huge quantity of cash on board, because the thugs could have been paid prior to or post operation. That money was going to Gaza to support Hamas. It would be interesting to know to whom it belonged. If not Turkey, then Erdogan allowed Turkey to be a conduit and is a collaborator with extremists. Erdogan had every reason to foam at the mouth when Israel took possession of the vessel. That was not supposed to happen, not with all that money on board. This incident justifies the EU's hesitance in admitting Turkey to the EU. Turkey cannot be trusted plus it eliminates itself by its dark past that is unsettled to this day.

27. To Ian @ 18 ..I remember it well.And I wonder if?
Stephen ,   Albany/USA   (06.10.10)
Ian hello I don't think Netanyahu is stupid, but knowing how the israeli leaders tend to try to pacify even their enemies (i hope he does not) Now if only you could send a letter anonymously as a reminder of the HUGE EXPENSE ISRAEL WHO CANNOT AFFORD INCURRING THE VAST AMOUNT YOU MENTIONED AT THE TIME WITHOUT SUCCESS.IN Ole Blighty. It would be a vengeance to the UN to bear the brunt. In particular knowing how they are ready to castigate Israel, and ignore the REAL BAD APPLES TO GO SCOT FREE.. Wondered if it is possible to send a reminder to Bibi ha? I am being serious. Good show Ian brilliant idea.
