Obama is obviously the most hostile U.S. president Israel has ever faced. He is also the worst president the U.S. has ever had. Even incompetent former U.S. presidents like Warren Harding and James Buchanan look good compared to Obama. However, Bibi's inability to tell Obama "NO" is a bigger problem than Obama. After all, it is Bibi's job (not Obama's) to stand up for Israel. Israel's tens of millions of American friends would be vastly empowered to help Israel, against Obama, if Bibi clearly rejected Obama's hostile, outrageous demands. Nobody can be a better friend of Israel than Israel's government.

Name one time in history when appeasing an aggressor did not beget tragedy. Israel has a long history of appeasement, "gestures", and sacrifices and EVERY time it has led to tragedy. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Giving up land results in intifada. Leaving Gaza results in continuous rockets. There are no exceptions to this rule. Do you think removing the security fence will result in less attacks? As an American Jew, I am appalled at the rapid change in U.S. attitude and policy toward Israel. I am trying to organize a protest in front of the White House and have received nothing but ambivalence from most of the Jews I have spoken with. Is there not a need to become visible with our outrage? Who would be willing to join the fight?

us Israelis preaching to Americans to change or pressure their president because he doesn't OUR needs - is kind of a hutzpa. Who are we, tiny Israel, to meddle in America's internal affairs, and tell Americans who to vote and what to do? When most Americans vote for a president, they have plenty of much more pressing issues on their minds, such as health care, taxes, crime control, and many others. Israel is probably pretty low on their list. And despite the relative setback brought by Obama, American policy is still staunchly pro-Israeli, and America still pays a hefty political price for her unwavering diplomatic support of us. I agree Obama is bad for us. But the last thing we need right now is another example for Americans of how Jews meddle in their business in order to serve Israel's interests instead of America's. Let the American voters decide for themselves who they want for president, and whether they approve of his policies. We are not in a position to coax them.
