I think enough details have emerged about why soldiers were not prepared for a violent reception on the Turkish vessal. I don't have to repeat all the details. Instead of playing Pass the Buck & looking for a fall guy, maybe some attention should be given to the role of Ehud Barak, master serial bungler & expert misunderstander. We don't need another cover-up to save a senior politician''s ass. We all know it anyway, might as well make it official.

Can no one do anything in the IDF without fear of "investigation" especially when it comes to dealing with our enemies ? Sounds a bit personal with Ashkenazi being investigated. I smell Barak here. He should not sit comfortably. Barak was responsible for the Lebanese "retreat", Cast Lead - a job "half done is a job not done" and now the flotilla incident -the buck stops at the Def Min.
