Honestly, that reminds me of the notorious "Wunderwaffen" ("miraculous arms" or , if you will) which Hitler promised to the german people, which were not miraculous, never appeared on the battlefield or only served the winners of WW2. Backfired pretty heftily, isn't it?
2. How would they produce it? Out of thin air?
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.14.10)
Iran cannot produce enough food for their own people or refine gasoline from the oil they have, not to mention failing to enrich uranium. Now they set their sights lower on some miracle weapons they cannot even dream about?

4. if islam forbids WMDS why does Iran have chemical weapons?
zionist forever   (06.14.10)
Iran & Syria have the largest stockpiles of chemical & possibly biological weapons in the region and they are not fooling anybody when they say they don't want nukes or that islam forbids WMDS. Even if he wasn't supposed to because it clashes with official policy its nice to see an Iranian cleric speaking the truth and admitting that they are trying to develop nukes. Obama listen to this admission of the truth and do something to stop this fantasy becoming a reality or else your going to see a nuclear bomb detonated in the Middle East before you see a nuclear free region.

islamic clerics worldwide continually spew hatred, violence and intolerance. These are not GOD'S VALUES. They are goals of the devil. I'd loke to meet a muslim cleric that talks about love and kindness and a loving future for all of mankind

Iran does not have chemical weapons.

Both Iran and Iraq used chemical weapons during their eight-year war. Iran not to the extent that Iraq did, but both sides did use them. Iran's use was pretty limited to mustard gas -- which is pretty primitive -- but to suggest that Iran does not have chemical weapons is not quite correct. They've used them; therefore they must have them. And they have gone to a great deal of trouble to insist that the use of chemical weapon within one's own territory is not prohibited by the Geneva Convention. Of course, the only interpretation possible for such a statement is that Iran would have no qualms using chemical weapons against the Kurds or any other segments of its population. Really primitive mindset, those mullahs.
8. #2, Have you heard of N. Korea?
SE ,   Boston, USA   (06.15.10)
Matty, Have you heard that N. Korea has issues feeding its own people - even its own military? While its population are malnourished, North Korea has nuclear weapons, so your reasoning is completely wrong.

Iran has no chemical weapons and the earth is a flat plane. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3451012,00.html

Middle Eastern countries that either definitely or probably have chemical weapons are: EGYPT - probable ISRAEL - probable IRAN - definite SUDAN - definite SYRIA - definite Iran, Egypt and Sudan have all used them in the past either against civilians or in combat.
11. Israel, has chemical weapons
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (06.15.10)
To No7 "Iran does not have chemical weapons". It is irrelevant whether Iran does have chemical weapons. Israel has chemical weapons and so does the US. It is widely known that Israel used chemical weapons in Gaza. Those who believe Iran is incapable of producing sophisticated weapons are kidding themselves. Really savage human beings those Israelis
