1. Shameless provocation
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.15.10)
The world continues to insist upon setting a different standard for Israel than that which applies anywhere else in the world. Why? Because Israel had the temerity to win all six of the wars which the Arabs started? Because Israel has managed to combat over sixty years of Palestinian terror with grace, dignity and great success? Because the world doesn't like its Jews to be both exceptionally smart AND exceptionally tough? Too bad. The day of the docile Jew filing quietly into a gas chamber is over. In a day and age where atrocities -- real ones -- abound throughout so much of the world, the world chooses to focus on the so-called "plight" of a people who have adopted terror as their lingua franca. If there is indeed suffering in Gaza, it is attributable to the acts of Hamas, not Israel. Israel endured eight years of daily missile barrages before undertaking an operation to put a stop to it. How many countries, similarly situated, would have waited eight seconds? Israel has an inalienable right as a sovereign nation to impose a blockade and embargo upon a hostile neighbor. If there are those who choose to try and run the blockade, fine -- go ahead. Just understand that you WILL be interdicted, and you will be ordered to turn back. If you choose to ignore such an order, well -- I hope you can swim, and I hope the sharks aren't too hungry.
2. Naval incursion from enemy state should be sunk
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (06.15.10)
Naval incursion from enemy state, Lebanon or Iran, should be told to turn around or it will be considered an act of war and sunk.
3. They are coming
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (06.15.10)
from an enemy state, right? the International law here is clear, you can sink them. The world will bark, so what ?? who cares...
4. The siege of Gaza is legal under international law
Ron B. ,   Lod   (06.15.10)
There is simply no respectable basis for arguing that the siege of Gaza is illegal under international law. The siege is founded on multilateral agreements involving Egypt, the U.S., and even the Palestinian Authority, in the wake of the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 and the subsequent Hamas takeover. A navy raid on a flotillas attempting to reach the Strip is a legitimate military incident to a legitimate state of war, one that will continue to exist so long as no general peace agreement is reached — and for the moment, Hamas has no interest in peace. 5. the irians have found a method to get rid of shayetet 13 ops
israeli ,   israel   (06.15.10)
iran found ot that when you send ship with many passengers in short intervals and without early notice of arrival, you will keep large parts of the shayetet 13 in arlarm, busy and they won't set out for other jobs, which would be likely iranian targets or interests... Israel has to find another solution. we need shayet at work and not in riot control
6. Israel fearing Huzballah....
Lebanon ,   Lebanon   (06.15.10)
so they will not attack the lebanese flotilla, unless Israel wants to have 40000 rockets falling on the head of israel hehehe
7. Arabs are loosing friends in Israel
Yossef ,   Rehovot, Israel   (06.15.10)
Provocation leads to war, not to peace. Is that you want Salma, Abdel, Nour ?
8. Learn from last farcilla
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (06.15.10)
Check the boats in Ashdod. Channel aid as usual. Any booby traps... remove and imprison crew and atavists.... blow up and sink remaining boats awaiting inspection. Next....
9. sink them

10. To: No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.15.10)
Really? 40,000 rockets if Israel interdicts your illegal blockade runners? How about a very large parking lot where Lebanon used to be? Heh heh heh. Bring it on, fool. Bring it on.
11. They ALL want a song in their honour
Come on latma   (06.15.10)

13. #6 Lebanon
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (06.15.10)
Afraid of Hizbullah? You mean that coward Nazrallah who has been hiding in his earth hole for the last four years? I don't think so.
14. Bibi is running scared and will probably cave in to
Yehuda ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.15.10)
international demands. A good Rabbi should take Bibi aside and tell him what he is doing to the country and to the world at large who expect Israel to stand up for it's rights.
15. The best thing Israel can do wright now
Eric.... ,   Israel......   (06.15.10)
Is take Gaza back, expel all Hamas leaders like we did to Arafat in Lebanon. This way we get rid of the boats and the rockets. It will be hard takeing Gaza ,but in the long run its worth the price.World opinion are against Israel anyway.
16. Interesting to see how the Irania ships will be handeled

Atilla Karagözoğlu ,   İstanbul / Turkey   (06.15.10)
no doubt about that ! this is not ONLY FOR GAZA anymore ! one to another relay race. HAND IN HAND FLAG IN FLAG thats all.
20. More provocations, where is the outrage ?
Paul ,   USA   (06.15.10)
Oh - I keep forgetting about the international double standards that are applied to Israel. It looks like these " Humanitarian Activists ", are hell bent on starting another war.
21. Plenty of ways to get information
William ,   Israel   (06.15.10)
Check with US command in the Persian Gulf where the Iranian ships must leave from. Fly intelligence flights up Syrian/Lebanese border. Stay in close contact with the Egyptians who also are not fond of the Iranian influence in the region, to see who's coming through the Suez Canal. All the IDF has to prepare for is where to aim the torpedo. That's not hard.
22. #6- Yawn! Hiz didn't respond yet to Imad's death
William ,   Israel   (06.15.10)
and for sure - that means more to them then the half-wits on the Lebanese flotilla. And since Hizbullah is trying to gain political legitimacy in Europe (not hard to do as a terrorist org), they will stick to racist tirades and street protests, with the occasional ketyusha that they will blame on hardcore "Palestinian" terrorists. Remember - it was Nasrallah that apologized for the 2006 war, not Israel.
23. #10 Really Sarah B?
John ,   New Jersey   (06.15.10)
I suppose you are going to be serving in uniform if the "Bring it on" situation really occurs? Or are you a chicken hawk, that talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. If you serve in the IDF or Israeli navy AND in a combat role, then I rescind my prior comments. If not, then don't be so quick to send your countrymen to death. This will happen weather Israel decimates Hamas, etc. or loses the fight. Either way people will die.
24. October 12, typical
arab   (06.15.10)
that's like in 100 years. That's so typical of Iran.... "we we we we we we we in a million years" my a**
25. The Iranian Ships will never get there
arab   (06.15.10)
the iranians will promise the lebanese that they too will send ships. The lebanese will send their ships, and many lebanese will die, and the Iranians will never send their ships or they will send them and make a pact with Egypt to use it as an excuse for not letting them pass through hormoz. I know the Iranians all too well. The Iranians will do nothing for the Palestinians, nothing.
26. ***Sarah***
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (06.15.10)
You are right on all of Your points, but it is also cristal clear, that Iran believes, that it has now found the perfect ploy to divert the attention of the world from the finishing touches of its nuke program. Israel must beware... On the other hand, Iran makes itself also more vunerable, like the chess player who overstretches his position, while going to far forward with one of the lesser figures he simultaneously exposes his center. Israel could USE the worlds fixation on the flotilla madness to wipe out Irans illegal nuclear installations with a quick strike...
27. But 'activists' can't be bothered with suffering in Darfur.
David ,   Hartford USA   (06.15.10)
The political aim of this game is simple to see: the activists can't be bothered with the abject suffering and pain in Darfur, but they can be bothered by Israelis trying to keep lethal weapons out of Gaza. The same Gaza that just announced a brand new olympic swimming stadium and the very same Gaza that has fancy restaurants with month-long reservation lists! There is no siege of Gaza, it's Hamas spinning the news and, of course, the western dhimmi press drinks it up.
28. Not sure why...provocation?
Ramy ,   Amman   (06.15.10)
People are considering this provocation. Isn't the starvation of a population provocation? I am a Palestinian. I do understand Israel's right to live. I also understand Palestine's right to live. The interesting thing is, while we're so busy deciding how much more important one people are over another, we forgot just that. At the end of the day we're human beings and both sides just want to live regardless of what the minorities on both sides want to do. In fact it's the racist and prejudice minorities on both sides that continuously cause the suffering of the masses that simply (whether you care to do admit it or not) could care less about this everlasting war and crap about "peace". Yes, as long as the Israeli Government (parts of it) continue this behavior and act without recourse, then there is going to be a retaliatory side doing the exact same thing. Wake up, reality is what you make it. No one is excusable
29. USA Warships??
Damien ,   australia   (06.15.10)
USA warships should be there to help the IDF 100%
30. USA should demand iran STOP !!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (06.15.10)
