Give them their "martyrdom" . Sink them
33. Reply to # 28, Ramy..
Paul ,   USA   (06.15.10)
You say you understand Israels right to exist - then it shouldn't bother you that the IDF needs to inspect cargoes inbound to Gaza. Also, Gazans are not starving. And you must have heard that the Iranian Hitler has threatened to wipe Israel off the map - and these are Iranian ships heading in. Just like the last " peace flotilla ", this is nothing but an attempt to cast Israel in a bad light. That is a provocation.

Sarah B is definitely a big talker who doesn't know reality. She has been caught in several lies and has said some incredible things which has been found to be a lie...she said she lost a son in the Sbarro pizzeria attack in Israel several years ago. When a guy (Matty Groves) called her bluff and proved she lied she said she would sue him and went so far to say she would find his IP address and get him. She also said she's rather wish death on her children than to allow them to live but be a Catholic... does this sound like a sane human? Don't pay attention to her, she is a creative writing specialist...nothing more!

I like your thinking. I too, suspect these 'marchands de tapis' are playing a rather broad sophisticated chess game...just like they did in days of yore with real people, only now on a bigger scale. They are no doubt behind most of the aggravation Israel is experiencing through proxies which recently include Turkey. I sincerely hope that the Revolutionary Guard and their mad Mullahs are toppled by the Iranian people who deserve so much more than they're getting.... .....failing that and the time line, we're going to have to osirak
37. War
Y.G. ,   Tel Aviv   (06.15.10)
Sending vessels to breach a lawful blockade is a bona fide act of war under public international law. So now that Iran has done this, let's not hear them come whining and snivelling to the UN when Israel responds my toasting their 'peaceful nuclear' programme.
38. Not a chance, #29
Cameron ,   USA   (06.15.10)
But we'll have our bowl of popcorn, comfortable chair, and watch with bated breath to see how this latest BS episode from the ME plays out. A flotilla of the shrieking & scowling versus the Israeli navy. It does indeed make a cynic smile.
39. same thing is true with the US, #27
jerusalem   (06.15.10)
the US has no problem invading Iraq to "save the people from the then situation", it has no problem with doing the same in afghanistan and pakistan, just like it had no problem with Desert Storm or chechnya. it has no problem giving billions of dollars in charity to israel and free weapons on the top of that on the backs of US tax payers. Why isnt the US lending a helping hand to Sudan? are they not bothered by the situation? while you are "worried" about keeping lethal weapons out of Gaza, you forget that israel itself has the most advanced weapons in the ME INCLUDING nuclear weapons. not to mention it being the only power n the world still running an occupation, devastating the native people. this probably stems the activists' concerns. yes, the very same gaza, the one where 85% of the people rely on UN handouts to get through the day since israel has tightened its siege on it since around '05/'06. the very same gaza where basic medical supplies are denied form getting through the checkpoints to them. even the one where exports to outside countries like europe, let alone in israeli occupied/ruled places are even denied. it is isarel. it is israel who has made hamas into what it is. it is israel who has made fatih into what it is. and after all this, you want to take israel out of the picture and expect everyone to just gobble your side of the story up? good luck with that!
40. enemy ships carry missiles to launch wth WMD from 20 miles
bernard ross ,   st anns bay jamaica   (06.15.10)
Iran, and the others, could launch missiles at Israel within 20 miles of Israel from these ships. Israel cannot proceed without such considerations. It cannot assume that the ships are not existential enemy attacks. They can be suicide bombers. They should be sunk with counter-terror methods on the high seas early. Stop risking Israeli lives.
41. Has Bibi a backbone?
RayS ,   USA   (06.15.10)
No country deserving of respect will allow it's ports or borders to be overun by enemies and those who aid enemies. Every ship should be bordered and inspected. If contraband is found the ship should be confiscated. Persons aboard should be shipped home on one of the invading vessels unless wanted criminals . Those should be arrested. Nobody will respect a weak response . It will encourage trouble.
42. You have to do your PR work out there!
Harry Wright ,   UK   (06.15.10)
Why have you not yet started? Why is your blockade in place? What can you cite as the legal basis of your blockade? What proof do you have that there have been attempts to smuggle arms by sea to Gaza? By land? What are your concerns and what have caused your concerns? What role does Iran play in the area? In what ways has Iran threatened Israel? Why is considered a hostile nation to Israel? What other blockades existed in the past and why? Is or is not the blockade running by a hostile nation considered an act of war? What proof do you have that the Gazans are not starving, not getting a regular supply of medicines and other essentials? How can you disprove the need for aid in Gaza? Will there be video conferencing? Press conferences? Daily press releases? Do you have a package? Or will there be a wall of silence and a mad scramble to explain AFTER the fact? Are your diplomats and Jewish organizations around the world going to help you get your messages to the world? Will you publicize your diplomatic efforts to avoid possible conflict? Will you send a team to Ban Ki Moon and the head of the EU union to officially lay your complaints with them? Will you demand that they call for an end to the provocation? Or will you sit and do nothing? Do you have a robust plan for making your position known? It does not matter if some countries are unsupportive. What matters is you state your case up front, you project this impending, hostile and illegal action against your sovereignty and its potential to jeopardize the safety and security of the State of Israel. This must be done in as forceful and convincing a manner as possible and you state the legal options available to you to deal with this assault on your sovereignty.
43. To: No. 23
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.15.10)
I served as an officer in the IDF with pride and distinction for five years. I talk the talk and I walk the walk. That's how Israelis roll. Any more stupid questions? By the way ..... get an education. It's "whether" .... not "weather." And you an American (sigh). No wonder the United States is heading downhill ..... Lucky for you that Israel has your pathetic and pitiful back.
44. To: No. 34
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.15.10)
Matty Groves is a "she," not a "he." Can't you tell by the flourish and textual content? I can. You, on the other hand -- I am so, so sorry -- they can, you know, perform surgery on hermaphrodites these days. You won't be quite right, but being a "shim" is probably preferable to being an "it." Got anything else you'd like to say to me? Go for it. After you pray at the altar with your pedophile priests, that is .....
45. To: Cameron at No. 38
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.15.10)
You mean a floptilla of the shrieking and scowling versus a missile amidships, don't you? Tee hee.
46. #28 Palestinians starve only because of their leaders
rebecca ,   Modiin   (06.15.10)
They have the highest per capita donations in the world. If the people had actually got half of the money they would all be millionaires. USA has just pledged Gaza another $400 000 000. How many people are in Gaza to get that aid? Yet you say they are starving? Not because of Israel. That aid gets to the Palestinians. which Palestinians get it is determined by their leaders,

TAHRIR QUDS ALYAHUDI   (06.15.10)
Mr or Miss Lebanon, Israel will not let the Lebanese or the Iranian ships to Gaza.Israel may even sink them. You mentioned 40000 rockets falling on the head of Israel. If that so,Israel will have full right to destroy all of Lebanon,Syria, and Iran No more AL HAMRA STREET where you can eat nice meal and in the evening you can buy pistacho and ARAK ZAHLAWI, but instead the whole country will be BBQ.
49. I remember lebanese whinning after the war...
#35 ,   Lod   (06.15.10)
Oh,oh so many were killed. Oh, oh...
50. #25 good post, #29
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (06.15.10)
Excellent comment. The Iranians are playing with the Arabs and the racist fool Obama. While they are all frothing at the mouth about bringing some unneeded aid to Hamas, the Iranians are developing weapons to protect themselves from American aggression to control the Persian Gulf. #29 don't you get? Obama spent so much time delegitimizing Israel, he can no longer help Israel even if it will be a critical US interest.
51. To Israel : Send in 1000 Merkavas
Dav Lev ,   Burbank, CAUSA   (06.15.10)
To my fellow Zionists: Israel could: mine the waters around the Strip and especially the port areas. It could place it's warships at intervals, with orders to torpedo or otherwise sink the vessels. It could bomb the ships from above. It could destroy their engines w/o bording. It could send divers to scuttle the boats. It could (and this is my suggestion) send commandos to control the beach areas..send in 1,000 tanks to cut the Strip into 3 parts, and bomb w/o exception Hamas infrastructure. We will take care of Goldstone's rantings and ravings afterwards AND vote any US legislator out of office who does not agree. To Israel: take the iniative away from your enemies..the reverse, they would not coddle you.
52. Acts of war form jew killing enemies of Eu and arabia
bernard ross ,   st anns bay jamaica   (06.15.10)
In war there is only one answer. Dead enemies are desirable not something to investigate

I hope your cousins chocked whilst eating the "barbequed Israeli tanks" hehehaha !!

55. :: Israel fears humanitarian aid...
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.15.10)
...reaching the people of Gaza for the simple reason that Israel will lose its brutal military control over Gaza. After all what is the point in attempting to collectively punish 1.5m people if lefty do-gooders are going to spoil it by delivering much needed aid? Then again the inhumane Israeli siege of Gaza has failed, Hamas is still in power and no matter how much Israel deprives the general populace of Gaza for their basic human rights, basic food types and reconstruction material etc etc this will not change the situation in Gaza in Israel’s favor. Even now Israel is trying to wash its hand of Gaza (see Yisrael Katz’s statement), a sure sign that Israel has failed and is looking for alternative solutions. These flotillas will continue and increase in number until Israel is finally forced to lift its inhumane siege of Gaza and no amount of wishful thinking from Ynuts here calling for the ‘sinking of the ships’ and other such nonsense will change this fact.
57. We shall see, Sarah, though I will say the..................
Cameron ,   USA   (06.15.10)
possible scenario of the sea full of floundering progressives & Muslims howling for the Israelis to pull them out would be vastly entertaining. Again, we'll just have to see what Fate has in store for those who take to the sea to push their luck.
58. #50 Israel Israeli
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (06.15.10)
"Obama spent so much time delegitimizing Israel, he can no longer help Israel even if it will be a critical US interest." In this case, Barakah Hussein Obama should prepare himself for being impeached.
59. #35 Lebanese
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (06.15.10)
Come on, if Hassan Nasrallah is killed by the Israelis, he is a martyr and will immediately come to his 72 virgins. Only cowards hide in earth holes.
60. To #59
(06.15.10)
Nasrallah does not want to be a Shahid. He knows there are no more virgins left there after he sent countless of his followers to his or her certain death. What a coward!
