Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (06.18.10)
THE LOOSER IS ISRAEL SITTING IDLE, WHO ONLY ACTS AS A RESPONSE, WHEN THE SHOW IS IN ISRAELS CORNER. ACTION ALWAYS BEATS REACTION. SMART POLICY THIS FOLLOWING OF OBAMAS POLICY. Arn.

Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.18.10)
So the Iranian Aid Ships will be entering the waters off Gaza from Egyptian waters, in fact it looks like it will be ‘running the blockade’ only a mile or so from the Gaza coast. Looks like the Israeli navy will ‘confront’ these ships at the very last minute unless of course the Israel wants to make an enemy out of Egypt by illegally entering Egyptian sovereign waters. I would laugh my ass off if the Iranians stayed in Egyptian sovereign waters and ferried the aid to Gaza using Chinook cargo helicoptes.
4. lets wait
lola ,   australia   (06.18.10)
the bit about suez makes sense but the hundreds of visas doesnt. lets wait until some more reputable source comes through there is so much scaremongering and breast beating going on.

6. I hope you're right, Sarah
Linichka ,   Gdynia, Poland   (06.18.10)
Given the current worldwide popularity of appeasing and toadying, I'm afraid the Persian infiltrators will be greeted with flowers and simpers.
7. The "return" of the Sinai to Egypt was a
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (06.18.10)
very very very grave mistake, forced upon Israel by an absolutely incompetent American administration...

Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (06.18.10)
Egypt afraid world will notice their blockade worse than Israel's. Egypt will not let any goods in at all, and only opens for people when it wants to - and Israel gets blamed for the blockade.
11. diplomacy wins!! egypt got on the right point at last
yyeliz ,   istanbul   (06.18.10)
egypt got on the right point at last. no one has right to stop humanitarian aid flotillas as long as they are appropriate to the international law criteria.
12. #3 Matty Groves
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (06.18.10)
It is denotable that you refer to weapons as "aid".
13. Iranian Boats: a Golden PR Offense Opportunity
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (06.18.10)
Let's reverse the usual scenario. While the IDF must maintain its usual wariness and preparedness (in case the Iranian ships plan to ambush our IDF boarding party, the ships may be suicide ships designed to blow up everything around it, etc.), official Israeli policy and our civilians can take a different approach. Official Israeli policy and whatever civilian protestor corps we can muster should officially welcome the Iranian "Peace Ship" to our Ashdod port with assurances that every peaceful and humanitarian item aboard will be delivered to Erez crossing where we are pressing Hamas to admit the aid to the people of Gaza. The Israeli gov't's recent relaxation of the definition of peaceful goods seems to make this idea even more viable. Let's have candies, flowers, brass bands, myriads of peace-niks with English placards--and a trainload of video and TV journalists--on shore in Ashdod ready to warmly welcome the Iranians when they arrive in Ashdod, with good food and non-alcoholic drink to welcome them. Invite and encourage Iranian "peaceniks" to join us at the Erez crossing in pressing Hamas to admit the aid to the people of Gaza--and that will enable the Iranians to witness, first-hand, that Israel is doing all we can to get the humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. Let's have more video cameras ready to see how the Iranians respond to our peaceful welcome overtures, how the Iranians help our Israeli protesters (we are getting protesters together aren't we???) ensure that the items are strictly peaceful and see with their own eyes that every item does get through the Rafah crossing to the people of Gaza. And if they don't reciprocate our grand gestures of welcome, well... there's always the videos for the media. Think outside the box, PR offense. I look forward to know fact hostility between Iran and "Israel", Iranian hostages in 'Israeli" hands, what more could you want?!!!!!
15. To Sarah
Barak ,   London, uk   (06.18.10)
Are you for real...all the comments I have ever seen from you are about blowing people and other war mongering nonsense. Are you this evil? or just a common nutter? or maybe you are the Jewish version of Taliban and other idiots who see the world in black and white only! I wish you a swift recovery as you give both israel and USA a bad name indeed! Shalom
16. Heh?
Moshy ,   Calderis   (06.18.10)
I don't get it Chris, how is it a mistake?

Rivkah   (06.18.10)
Iranian warships. Av 9 of some year, possibly this year is the start of a war between Iran and Israel and the USA that is atomic and biological. A submarine offloaded hazardous materials in Lebanon recently with the people unloading the materials wearing hazmat suits and gas masks. War is coming and you could have helped delay it. What will happen to Egypt? Egypt will become uninhabitable for forty years the Bible says. Tyre and Zidon in Lebanon will suffer much destruction the Bible says. All the Palestinians in Gaza will die. Damascus will be destroyed. Elam (Western Iran) will be so decimated the people of Iran will have to migrate to other countries. Babylon (Iraq and Saudi Arabia) will become uninhabitable forever. These are the burdens of these nations in the Bible which are judgments. YOU could have delayed or stopped this for now. YOU hasten the destruction of Egypt. YOU hasten the destruction of Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Gaza, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. YOU, YOU, YOU. Think about what you are causing to happen by letting the Iranian ships through the Suez Canal. sTOP THEM.
18. Sitting on your hands!
Stephen Goy ,   Manchester UK   (06.18.10)
Time to become PROactive Israel! I agree with 2, being REactive is too late, the damage to you has already been done & should not have happened. Pre-emptive, its served you well in the past.............. ask the Egyptians!
19. Time is running short
Guarding angel ,   Ramallah   (06.18.10)
Iran should be subdued as soon as possible before it is too late, and don't be fooled no matter how nice Israel act, they will still always be looking forward to erase it an ianilate its people , it is part of their religion. After Iran militery might are distroyed a good work should be done to distablise and may be divide Turkey.
20. The ships are boarded and checked

before entering Suez canal. It will then be towed or escorted to Ashdod.
21. Accroding to the new Sanctions
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (06.18.10)
Israel has the right to stop any Iranian vessel (international waters included) for inspection, or to ask a neighbor country for inspection. In this case the Israeli government has actually all the rights to stop them in international waters.
22. This is for you # 15
Israeli 2   (06.18.10)
Dear Barak, Don't mess around with Sarah. She is very smart and very right. Sarah is #1. Then, we have Rivkah #17 It would do you some good to read what she had to say. It will sober you up. I am still waiting for Leah and Rachel They are probably bussy preparing dinner.
23. Do the opposite
Ben ,   Haifa Israel   (06.18.10)
This time plan our actions careful and take care that the international press is present on the Israeli ships and show the world with what we have to deal.
24. I Agree With #15
World Citizen ,   the world   (06.18.10)
It seems like we have many Jewish armchair generals on ynetnews. Most of them are about as far from Israel as you can get when the bullets begin to fly.Sarah is a prime example of a loud mouthed expert in all things involving the murder of innocent people. Bomb this, sink that, shoot this etc etc ad nauseum. Please Sarah do us all a favor and put on your IDF uniform and go to the front lines as soon as possible.
25. #13 Bibi Is Too Stupid To Do Anything Smart
World Citizen ,   the world   (06.18.10)
So your idea to defuse the blockade dilemma will never happen. Since 1948 and particularly since 1967 Israel's various governments have always believed that violence was the answer to all its problems.
26. #17's future predictions
Lisa ,   NY, USA   (06.18.10)
You seem to know a lot about the future (with reference to the bible). Can I get next week's winning lottery number? Not sure that Egypt has enough military might or courage to confidently provoke war with Iran.
27. #15 & 24 - Sarah is right. There is nothing "peaceful' about
Scott   (06.18.10)
...the 'aid' ships from Iran. You have your supporters...and we have ours. Get ready for action.
28. CLEAR DECLARATION OF WAR!
TORPEDO   (06.18.10)

Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (06.18.10)
And what would you suggest to someone who is surrounded by millions of fanatic Arabs and Persians that want nothing but kill him - sit down and smoke a joint together?
30. Will Israel stop them ?
DT ,   TA Israel   (06.18.10)
Here comes another "probe" and will Hamas be able to claim another victory because of the last flotilla ? Israeli Government gave in (again) to international pressure and allowed more goods into Gaza so one more victory for terror
