I am not personally acquainted with the Josh guy from here. Interesting, tho, when Rav Goren made psak about a guy who either was a false convert or reverted to his old Christian ways, the entire rabbinic /Haredi world said you cannot posul a convert. Some 35 years later, the same leadership did a mass wholesale posulling of all converts who underwent giur by the special conversion courts. So Orthodox conversion is pretty meaningless - it can change from day to day.
