When a debutant musician wants to make progress,he listens to great music with a positif mind, and do not look for tunes, he as a debutant thinks is discordant. If you want to build something meaningful, open your eyes for everything which you think is great. This is your unique chance to become great. If you are young, become positif! The sooner, the better.
33. #6 Bless you!
David ,   USA, exile   (08.09.10)
Morality and Torah obedience doesn't move some folks. I am glad to see it is in your life. Those like Charles want to continue in their immorality and the secular laws are there to protect them from keeping Torah. It is sad!
34. Women only bathing in Tel Aviv
dorothy friend ,   tel-aviv   (08.09.10)
In the days when I went to the beach, I used to prefer the separate women's beach. No goons, no matkot, quite nice. Beach was north of the Hilton -- there was a hill above it, where Yeshiva boys, some times with binoculars, would sit and look down. I didn't care, I thought it was a hoot, but some of the religious women who went there for privacy found it distressing. Shul zyne.

David,i agree with what you said, except about Charles. He is a good guy, who, though was not lucky enough to receive a jewish education(his father was hidden during the war by a catholic priest)he made great efforts to put his children in jewish schools. He merits great respect for this. His children should be very greatful to him.
40. to 39 . TRY # 6
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.11.10)
You were wrong . Where was it written that my Father zl was hidden by a priest ? in your "religiously educated" imagination ? I was lucky not to receive such an education , so i could make my own choice . regartding this 33 , look at my 38 .
41. Insane
Yehudit ,   Connecticut, USA   (08.11.10)
What people do on their own time outside of synagogue and yeshiva is their own business. Blackmail of anykind is illegal. What next, the modesty policy police who will think nothing of beating haredi women who are wearing too attractive wigs or better yet, not wearing burkas?
