(07.27.10)
"There were other acts we carried out against the British that were just as courageous" How is murdering children courageous, unless you're a Palestinian suicide bomber? These two people are destined to share this land and it seems the Palestinians really do follow the Israeli lead. She should keep her mouth shut, as it was still a war crime which she carried out.

Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (07.27.10)
Jewish resistance. Thank you for your story and the documentation of events, Mrs. Agassi. I am moved by such stories including those which occurred in Europe during the Holocaust; "Defiance" by Nechama Tec about the Bielski otriad and "Partisans of the Forest" about Jewish resistance under appalling condition.
10. :: You are a fake #2, and ignorant too
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (07.27.10)
There was Palmach, Etzel and Lechi. The fact that you give other names circulated among Antisemites like you exposes your phony credentials.
11. so what is the diffrence between her and

yehya ayash and all the palestinian freedom fighters ?
12. she was fired?
golan ,   modiin   (07.27.10)
the socialists fired her for being a member of the revisionists.... does that mean we can fire someone for having voted to a leftist party once?
13. Irgun
Yoel ,   Ossining, NY   (07.27.10)
#3 Noa..."Terror is terror"; it is not that simple. "Terror" is the purposeful and intentional targeting of a civilian population. First, the Irgun targeted British MILITARY headquarters. Second, they gave warning to disperse; it's unfortunate the British commander did not take heed. This is terrorism. It is terrorism when the OBJECT of the operation is to kill and maim as many civilians as possible, i.e. blowing-up pizza restaurants and buses.
14. "My conscience is clear" ,...
split ,   USA   (07.27.10)

15. #5 No was thanks to your sending back
Dani ,   Amsterdam NL   (07.27.10)
to Europe or Cyprus where we were imprisoned in concentration kamps Because your government gave order to sink boats full of Holocaust survivors and many other nice things they did to us. Just learn the difference between Islamic terrorism and fight for freedom.
16. Noa #3: Not all terror is equal
Steve   (07.27.10)
The Nazis firebombed (terror-bombed) Poland, Rotterdam, London, Coventry, etc. The Germans committed horrible atrocities against innocents, too many and too horrendous to mention here. Terrorism was part and parcel of Nazi ideology. Later in the war, the Allies, USAF and RAF bombers, firebombed (terror-bombed) German cities; Dusseldorf, Dortmund, Dresden Essen, Hanover, Cologne, Munich, Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Hamburg, etc., in order to terrorize and demoralize the German people into surrender. Close to one million German civilians were incinerated. Many more wounded and left homeless. These were intentional civilian targets. Like Sarah Agassi, the consciences of the American and the British peoples are largely clear. Not all terror is the same.
17. # 5 Ann
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (07.27.10)
Ann ! England never delivered, they replaced the Balfour declaration with the white paper, helping the Germans with their plan to exterminate the Jews of Europe.
18. Here's the difference, anonymous #11:
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (07.27.10)
Palestinians are not "freedom fighters". They already have, and had, a place in the sun and their survival was never at stake. Unfortunately, Jews had no option; therefore the Jewish need to fight for one. Hope that clarifies.
19. Sarah Agassi
Edmond Silber ,   Montreal, QC Canada   (07.27.10)
You have all my respect, to bad I couldn’t be there to help you. G. bless you ad mea v-esrim shana Edmond Silber Montreal, Canada
20. No. A thank you...
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (07.27.10)
...for the doorsclosed to European Jewry who vanished up the smoke stacks; and for the White Papers, for Bevingrad and Eritrea, and Cyprus detention camps, and for dov Gruner, and countless other offenses. And for the naval resources utilized against the Jews of what was then Palestine, diverted from the war against the Axis and redirected against the Jews. But what the hey. It's all in good fun. Right?
21. Herine and History
Yaakov ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.27.10)
She definitely is a heroine. No the Arab settlers did not "follow the lead" of the Jews. Muslim Arabs/Turks whether settlers in pre-1948 Israel or in other countries throughout history have historically and sytematically slaughtered Jews. Of course do not forget the Arab slaughtering us in 1880's in Israel or in 1920s, or 1930s etc... Also, Brittish were in violation of agreement and were occupying the Jewish homeland. Just as Israel made a mistake 2000 yrs ago and invited Rome to deal with the last occupying Helenists and ended up staying and ocuppying so did the Jews invite England to help rid the Land of the occupying Ottoman Empire's settlers, 100 years ago. Both promised to leave after "helping" Jews in their land.
22. She did the same, what Taliban and Al Queda are doing now.
Albrecht ,   P.O.   (07.27.10)
23. #5 Ann
Hal ,   Usa   (07.27.10)
No Ann, it was a thank you for all that the British Foreign Office did to the Jews with the help of noted anti-semites/agents provocateurs T E Lawrence, Jack Philby and son Kim Philby. Read "The Secret War against the Jews" by John Loftus. It fully details the criminal actions of the British Empire in it's quest for oil and political power in the Middle East. Historically, Britain is behind just about every foul and nefarious deed, political activity or ugly hostility that occurred. The old Empire still casts a long shadow over the Holy Land. Read your damned history !
24. StSarah..re: Stern
Haim ,   Petach Tikva   (07.27.10)
The name "Stern Gang" that was a derogatory term for Lechi by the brittish occupiers. "The name comes from the Hebrew acronym for Lohamei Herut Israel, "Fighters for the Freedom of Israel," לח"י - לוחמי חרות ישראל) and it was initially called the National Military Organization in Israel."
25. #18 Palestinians are not freedom fighters?????
Albrecht ,   P.O.   (07.27.10)
Palestinians are not freedom fighters because they had "a place in the sun"? What about USA, Great Britain, Poland, Germany, Brazil, all the countries from which the Jews came and where they still live? Is there no sun?
26. Charles # 8
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (07.27.10)
I hardly think that post came from Sarah B.
27. #5 Ann - Look up the Struma Affair, 750 Jews murdered.
Scott ,   USA   (07.28.10)
British pandering to the Arabs
28. 91 victims, almost entirely civilists.
Albrecht ,   P.O.   (07.28.10)
16 Britons, 17 Jews, and the other Arabs. No one victim was an active british soldier. Warning? The "warning" came at 12:37 to "Palestine Post". The Explosion takes place at 12:39.
29. Terrorists target civilians. British army HQ=military target
Mike ,   Oxford UK   (07.28.10)
Terrorism is the act of targeting civilians to cause terror. The King David Hotel was the headquarters of the British Army, an occupying force and therefore a military not a civilian target.
30. #17 is exactly right.
Steve   (07.28.10)
