Levitcus 18 and 19 spell out the boundaries of normal and abnormal sexuality. For loathing homsexuality to be a hate crime, the Almighty has to be consigned to the dustbin of mythology and current humanism will have to take His place. Watchout all liberal thinkers who dare to prclaim that He is dead and you are alive. The tables will very soon be reversed.

Israel is Jewish, the Torah is Jewish, the Torah is against homosexuals. You have a choice either ignore the Torah (meaning be non Jew) or acknowledge it. The hard reality is that more and more Israelis are becoming observant and will soon take over the country. Deal with it.

The proof that gay rights has a long way to go can be seen in the previous talkbackers. Also, the Torah does indeed condemn homosexuality in Leviticus. Specifically, it does this a few chapters after explaining how to cure lepers with animal sacrifices and that those who eat non-kosher food are also "abominations." So we can get right on taking away gay rights right after we ban lobsters and medical cures for skin diseases.

all those rallies r pointless it will only make hetrosexual back away from the subject, especially when the gay don't know who kill those teens, if it will turn out one of their community than it will be very embarrassing.

in greek pagan cultur the gay phenomena was very common, the ancient greek men always had young boy to play with(it was part of a cultur a treand), and they were pagan to the max, so Israelites to seclud themselves from something they saw as a pagan ritual declaired the gay phenomena as abomination, go check it, it got nothing to do with scarifing. just other events that happened in ancient world at the same time.

Luckily, there are still a lot of other clear passages left in the bible/torah, explaining homosexuality and that god does not like it. They stand alone, having nothing to do with lobster. Simple as that. No one is really forced to obey the divine laws, but they can be read and understood by them all. Btw, somebody with a real phobia will stay away from everything, he is fearing in his sick way. That means, he or she does not exactly go to the gay bar and shoot the gays down, but will stay away from it, cuz he or she is actually afraid of them. Just like the clerics in germany, trying to label islamophobia (which term is less intelligent?) as racism. fail :-)

Actually, there is NOTHING about being gay (attracted to the same gender) in the Bible. It says "a man may not lay with another man as he would a woman". What that means is up for interpretation- if I sleep with a man in a different way than with a woman, is that alright? What about being gay and not having sex? In any case, the Bible also prohibits eating of certain animals, mixing wool and linen, sex with a menstrating woman, etc. yet there are never protests or TBs against shrimp, bacon, menstrating sexual women, sweaters with mixed cloth, etc. So that is what homophobia is about- discomfort with gay people and justifying it based on the Bible, morality, or anything else. And for the record, I have never been attracted to a woman or to a child. Gay means attracted to other adults of the same gender. All I want is to stop hearing how I am evil, deviant, disgusting, etc. and live a descent life.

We are all equal, it doesn't matter which religion, color, race or sexual preference you have , we have the same needs, hopes. In my country there is a law against discrimination of homosexuals,and I'm proud to say that in the Netherlands homosexuals have the same rights as anyone else, they can get married, they can adopt children etc....Israel is NOT a real Democracy, first there need to be SEPERATION OF RELIGON & STATE.....I proof my point by just reading all these homofhobic talkbacks......

Even i can't understand your attraction to men , women are so beautyfull , i will never condemn you for being Gay . It are only those fanatic religious and other people who have to hide their sexual instincts in a closet , who do it . Some say it's against the torah , so what ? Other's : don't mock "god" .
