I live in California and this our debate too - but the illegals will stay because this is a big country that can absorb them. Israel does not have the luxury. All countries have immigration regulations and deport illegals of all ages. Israel can do the same. In other news today, it seems that 4,500 Olim are expected from North America this year. Compared to the 20,000 "olim" who will arrive from Somalia, Eritrea and Sudan - almost all of them Muslims - the Jewish aliya is insignificant. Israel's Jewishness is already today noticeably diminished. Ultra-liberal immigration policies only make things worse. Look, here in Spain we're suffering something like you in Israel: Moroccans, Romanians, Rusians, etc. are coming, staying and multiplicating here either by tourism or by 'pateras' and any other illegal infiltration. The guilty is only (here and there) of Goverments. It's very easy to prevent, but there isn't decissions at all. Signal now only the kids is a great mistake: the error is maintain their parents. Thus, the kids are only the victims (and the 'hardware' sometimes) of their parents' decissions.
