2. SIEMENS again
tiki ,   belgium   (08.08.10)
Their dirty role in WW2 was not enough. That's probably why GERMAN 'exports are as strong as they are. A few lifes more or less....who cares, as long as WE (Germany) can make MONEY and if Israel (with all those jews) will be blown of the earth, it'll be a 'double reward.
3. a proud nazi company in the past
(08.08.10)
and still a proud nazi company supporting a notorious holocaust denier, and of all places, in germany. how appropriate! money talked to siemens in the past as they got rich using dilapidated jewish prisoners and killing them through hard labour while making millions on thise feree labour bodies that died in the millions. now, they support ahmadin ejad's plan. nazi german siemens doesn't want their hands dirty this time after almost 70 years. however, when it comes to making a dollar, morality is thrown to the toilette as in the past. this time, they are planning to be indirectly involved since they know that what they are sending will help build the holocaust planned by ahmadin ejad towards the israeli jews. amazing, this time it will be the death of 6 million plus one more. in israel. shameful german behavior. shameful german history and shameful german bujsiness dealing. have you not learned from your past? disgusting. siemens should be highly fined and exposed for this. siemens, you are also indirectly supporting a regime that kills my people in iran, that tortures them, imprisons them and opresses and murders them. but then again, what is the difference between an iranian and a jew to you while money keeps rolling into your company. disgusting! hameed aboughaze, iranian

headline --> 'Siemens sent equipment to Iran reactor via Russia''' Article- ''A Siemens spokesman claimed the company was not aware of the incident and that the parts were most likely sold by a third party'' .................................................... Do I have to go to Der Spiegel to get the true story ? Did Siemens really send the parts or is that just Ynet's opinion based on evidence which Ynet prefers to keep secret ?
6. After all...
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.08.10)
it is 'just business', right? Exactly the same as 'just following orders'!
7. Siemens sent equipment to Iran reactor via Russia
Hans ,   Markdorf, Germany   (08.08.10)
I have not found a single article of this matter on german internet-pages. May be a prove of guilt.
8. Sincere thanks for the History Lesson ...
maniaco ,   SoCal, USA   (08.08.10)
. . . to all here, esp. my new Persian friend Hameed. Now I want to look up "Siemens" in the history books & see what I either forgot or missed completely the first time. Note to HA, Iranian: somehow I have a feeling that the way you are spelling out "ahmadin ejad" carries a special meaning in Farsi -- am I right? If so, please share with us, my friend. All my Persian friends here in SoCal absolutely DESPISE this little jackass and worry for their families still in Tehran. Their Skype phones are working overtime!
9. #5 Agree does Ynet checkout going stories for fact/slander
Stan ,   Oranit   (08.08.10)
Slander? Defamation? Siemens wotth billions of dollars worth versus Ynet... Next headline; siemens sue ynet, obviously antisemetism the main reason
10. #1 Honestly who cares if you don't buy...
Jens ,   Germany   (08.08.10)

maniaco from south california i used to live in iran, in tehran with family in qum as well. i live now in la also in south california and i like the freedom and civility and democracy here. i go to iran often on business sometimes but mostly to visit my family. i still have iranian passport and a usa passport. i share your views about this dangerous islamic leader not only to israel or america but mostly to us iranians that want out of the dark ages he put our country in since the 1979 revolution. what is going on in iran you cannot imagine. it is a big prison without a life. we are ruled by fear buy oppression and by moral police who are basic thugs with clubs in their hands. everything is by fear and intimidation. by imprisonment. by hangings of teenagers and all of this. no one can imagine how iranians live now. people are picked up in the streets and we never see them again. my cousin is now in evin for nothing. he just carried a sign against ahmadin ejad in cemonstration. they beat him and my family is not allowed to see him. my parents told me to stay away because they fear i will be taken also because i have usa citizenship. my all friends in south california the iranians are scared for their family. many of them are not allowed to leave iran and if they want to they have to run away which is not possible. we are scared. we are ruled by dark ages. not normal leadership. fanatic, religious and immoral. they kill whoever they want and there are no trials or accusation. all of a sudden some one disappears and you never hear from them again and sometimes their family also disappears anywhere we do not know. the situation is very very dangerous in iran for everyone. everyone is being watched and the government listens to everyone phone conversation. we have no freedom, no press, nothing we can hang on for hope to the future. only a second revolution, the green revolution can get us out of this tyrany. we are becoming the laughing stock of the world represented by a fanatic maniac who has no clue oof humanity and decency. but he likes to preach to others about justice and morality while he murders his own people. he actually believes the holocaust didn't happen and he believes all the rumors about the mossad doing 9/11. he is crazy bastard. i do not blame israel and the usa for not trusting such regime with atomic bombs. even if i am iranian, i will like israel and the usa to bomb the regime and finish it off. most of my iranian friends in exile in la say they are willing to have a few die so tghat the regime will collapse after a usa and israel attack. we are desperate for your help. desperate for israel help. i can show you many iranians that will take to the streets in tehran with signs down with ahmadin ejad when the bombing starts. if you bomb, the regime will fall. the economy is in the toilette now. what you hear coming from ahmadin ejad mouth is fabrications about their military might and good trade. people are starving outside of tehran. there is shortages of commodities, fuel, gasoline, bread, food, eggs, milk and butter and sugar. the cost is very high because there is not enough of it and it drives the prices up. iran is the most isolated country in the world now and no one really wants to invest in iran because it is highly unstable politically. i don't blame them. i spell ahmadin ejad as most iranians spell it. there is no meaning to how i spell it. but i wish i never heard of this person. ever. most people say he is an ugly monkey. i say he is a monkey but very dangerous to us and to world peace. it is number one ruler that supports terror around the world. without ayatolla and ahmadin ejad, there will be peace in the world. down with the ayatolla. down with ahmadin ejad. help the green revolution. they can never do anything without the west intervention and help. hameed aboughaze, iranian
13. to a 'gloating Jens in Germany (10)
tiki ,   belgium   (08.08.10)
I don't know if you are 'up to date with the Iranian 'long term perspective.......it's NOT just Israel they are after, but ALL the 'infidels = Europe (including Germany), so those 'German switches' will come to haunt YOU. So, stop 'gloating and start 'thinking AND 'protesting to your governement (as did generations before you when dangerous rockets were placed in Europe), for this concernes you aswell!!!
14. Stop buying their products
Nomoredespots   (08.08.10)
This confirms once again, that I will never ever buy Nokia products again. Siemens was instrumental in Iran's barbaric crackdown on the fraudulent election protesters by providing surveillance equipment for the phone networks and internet services.
15. HAMEED #3
Yaniv ,   Israel   (08.08.10)
you say that siemens supports the regime that kills your people, tortures them, etc. That is exactly what the USA did when they installed the Shah in the CIA sponsored coup (operation Ajax) of 1953. Under the Shah’s brutal rule your people were tortured, killed, etc. not only did the USA overthrew Iran's democracy in 1953 it also helped Iraq invade Iran in 1980 and then supplied weapons to both sides so Iran and Iraq could destroy each other while the USA took your money and sat back laughing.Ever since the second world war the USA has been meddeling in Iranian affairs NOT for the interests of the Iranian people but ONLY for USA interests. So Hameed how do you feel now that you are living in sunny California in the very country that destroyed your countries democracy and installed a brutal leader who killed and tortured thousands of Iranians, in the very country that supplied chemical and bio weapons to Saddam so he could attack your country, in the very country that would install another USA friendly dictator in Iran tomorrow if it could? Do you feel disgust for America policy towards your country in the same way as you feel for Siemens? Do you like the freedom and civility and democracy of the country that helped destroy Iran and installed a Shah that allowed SAVAK to torture and murder thousands of your people? or are you going to forgive the USA but not a german company?
16. Yaniv, with respect to your outburst re
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (08.08.10)
Post #3, you sure are a smug guy. Is there any government, including ours in Israel, which cannot be indicted for wrongdoings? As you reside in Israel, perhaps you'd actually take the time to read Benny Morris' book on the treatment of Palestinians by the Jewish militia before they went into exile. Then maybe you'd get off your high moral horse.
17. Thank you, Hameed, for depicting the real
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (08.08.10)
face of Iran as it exists now under Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollahs. It was very painful to read and a real eyeopener. Your contributions to our talkback network are immense.
18. #6 'just following orders'
Mr. Fritz Kraut ,   Germany   (08.08.10)
Exactly, everybody is 'following orders' to stop the scumbags that try to trade with Iran: 1. the German customs have seized the switches 2. the the German prosecutors are investigating 3. the German media is reporting A well working democracy, I would say.
19. The Israeli gov. is about to award siemens TLV project
Stephan ,   Berlin   (08.08.10)
20. nein
Helmuth ,   Erlangen   (08.08.10)
no it is not. the fact that Siemens can do such things and not pay a price is unacceptable.
21. #3
Mr. Fritz Kraut ,   Germany   (08.08.10)
Bob from New Zealand (#5) got it right. The switches were only made by Siemens, but it seems that they have nothing to do with the attempt to send and sell them to Iran via Moscow: http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/vorab/0,1518,710704,00.html
22. ROBERT #16
Yaniv ,   Israel   (08.08.10)
I am not talking about Israel and Hameed wasn’t either he was talking about IRAN and the USA and SIEMENS. He talks about his disgust of the german company for working with the Iranian regime while he live in the same country that tried to destroy iran and its democracy for its own interests. Tell me Robert if Israel overthrew the canadian government and installed a dictator and then supplied the USA with weapons of mass destruction so it could attack canada would you live in Israel? And no I have not read the book by Morris you talk about so what does it say? that Israel killed and miss treated Palestinians? Is that the same as a country like the USA interfering with a country like Iran by puting a man in power that kills and tortures his own people? Hameed is a hypocrite to show disgust at a german company while he lives in a country that ACTUALLY AND DIRECTLY TRYED TO DESTROY HIS COUNTRY AND PEOPLE.
23. Companies put profits first and worry about politics later
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (08.08.10)
Even Israeli companies sometimes put profits over politics. Israel tried to sell Lavi fighter project to China a few years ago even though it that would include some US tech and trade secrets.

IRAN#1   (08.08.10)
Dude the only freedom you have in la that you won't have in iran is going to a public bar/club/rest. and getting a drink. In iran you have to drink in private :)

tell that to all the decent freedom loving iranians that support a western life style with freedom, justice and individual respect whol are sitting in prison, decapitated, molested by guards, murdered, tortured, hanged and stones like in the dark ages. tell that to all these people that their future is in evin in darkness and torture for nothing other than wanting freedom and decency. hameed aboughaze, iranian
