Israel's hands are always tied by the US and Internation Community in order to protect Hamas from total defeat and Israel foolishly goes along with it. They hold Israel to an impossible standard and they hold Hamas to no standard. When will Israel wake up to the global duplicity and hypocrisy and make Hamas extinct ?

They are Palestinians who give information to the Israelis that help save Israeli Jewish and Israeli Palestinian lives (prevent stabbings, bombings, suicide attacks). Those who condem collaborators are saying they think it is wrong to give information that will save lives. and yes, I feel the same about Israelis giving information to Palestinians that save lives in war.

Hamas can only maintain power through death threats and intimidation. Those anti-Israel writers who constantly attack Israel for oppression, willingly ignore the much harsher tactics used by Hamas. At the same time neglect to tell the world what kind of country the New Palestine will be, repressive, oppressive, military dictatorship ruled with a iron fist. No freedom of the press, speech, no system of justice that even comes close to Israel's respected court system. The Palestinians will live to regret their freedom from Israeli "oppression". Like they always say be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

There is less divide between the Hamas "political leadership" and its Military wing. It is a game they play. "Military wing" receives orders from Leadership period! I am nearly a Hamas expert...actuallt Fatah plays the same game. Weak-minded fools are deceived by this.

Israel should give up targeted assassinations in Gaza. Instead, if Shin Bet wants to take someone out, they should plant evidence that person is spying. Let Hamas do all the dirty work. It doesn't even need to be credible evidence. These people are so paranoid they will kill almost anyone based on a rumor.

I guess you would consider these Palestinian collaborators as valuable or useful if they serve Israeli interests even if it means betraying their own people. It reminds me in many ways of the term “useful Jew”.

YES! when a suicide bomber blows himself up in a restaurant, he kills whoever is there- women, children, old people, Jews and Palestinians- look at the bombing of Maxim restaurant in Haifa (a Palestinian-run restaurant) where both groups were killed. The moral thing to do is give information to the authorities to stop murder. It has nothing to do with national interests but morality.

It may be true that Hamas is getting rid of opposition, but this is hardly unique. The Fatah under Abbas is doing the same to both supporters of Hamas and supporters of Peace. But the bloodiest massacre was performed by Arafat when the Israeli government imported him from Tunis. In a short period of time, Arafat brutally murdered every Arab interested in peaceful coexistence with the Jews.
