61. lebanese drone set up?
DW ,   Moscow   (08.10.10)
Lebanon has aquired drones according to reports...so hizbollah may be using footage of its own drones to blame Israel. For example how can it be proven that this is not recent drone footage (Hariri case) It may be a set up. The IDF would probably have known that hizbollah intercepted the old 1997 drone transmission so they would have made it more secure after this. (Hariri murder was years after this)
62. LEBANESE LOST DECENCY
Alexandre Afonso ,   Lindoia- BRAZIL   (08.10.10)
Arent you Lebanese ashamed of being a mere Iranian colony? In addition to being slaves of the Iranians you are subrented by Syrians who subrent you to Hizbullah. You are now the slaves of the slaves of the slaves. The lowest point of all. Have you lost any decency?? Shame on you.
63. to IHAD # 46
Marco Ibrahim ,   Sao Paulo Brazil   (08.10.10)
As a Brazilian of Lebanese descend I feel deeply ashamed of my roots when I read posts like yours. You lost link with reality. Israel is a free country surronded by enemies and backwarded people. Lebanon is ruled by a bunch of freak, kind of mentally deranged. Why can you lose your time believing in what a man like Nasrallah speaks? Thanks God IDF has a good budget. I hope than can doble it to face all the threats people like you are posing to the Israelis...
64. to #25 and all his supporters
Omri ,   Israel   (08.10.10)
1. Why is israel preoccupired with Nasrallah so much? Well maybe because he is active about killing israeli civiliens. Its really not that hard to figure that one out dont be stupid and say he is the biggest threat to israel now. Example: The kurdish terrorists are such a deal in turkey but are they really a threat the turkey's existance? no its just their a threat to turkish lives and military action against them can lead to saving turkish lives. 2. Why does israel want Hizbullah destroyed? Stupid question, the answer is "Hizbullah's goal is to murder as many israelis as they can". Honestly now you couldnt figure that one out? 3. You fail to see how here in Israel we care about our dead and don't want to see them hanging in the arab market or dissmembered or anything like that. If you fail to understand the soldier's families crying for their dead son's body then the problem is with you. Would you be taken and killed by terrorists i bet you're parants would also "cry to get you're body". Israel cant silence Iran ah? well whats all those sunctions doing you tell me? Cant silence hizbullah? I believe that happend a few years ago on the second lebanies war. Maybe it wasnt such a well played war like almost all the others in israel's history but it was still succesful in silencing those terrorists for some good years. Cast lead: Where was hisbullah? you tell me. Is it posible he was silenced?
65. To 25 You have a failure to understand the basics
The Dude   (08.10.10)
"1- Israel is scared of Hizbullah. This is the truth guys, i am sorry but if this wasn't true, your leaders wouldn't have been so preoccupied with Nasrallah and his team. " Uhh no. Israel is concerned about Hizb'allah the same it is concerned about Syria's massive missile stock, the same as it concerned about Hamas's missile stock, the same we are concerned about an unstable Egypt, the same as we are about advanced weapons sales to KSA, and most obviously and really the most concerning is Iran's nuclear project. While in many cases it is true that western nations fail to understand arab culture, this is one case where the arab world completely misreads Israeli culture. The fact that we take concern for the safety of our citizens and critically assess every aspect about a possible threat is not due to fear. Its due to a need to internalize, understand, and finally how to deal with it. Put simply this has completely escaped you. "2- It is in Israel's interest that Hizbullah be destroyed. Why? That is obvious, Hizbullah is the biggest threat to Israel's existence. " LOL!!! Iran yes, Muslim brotherhood takeover of Egypt very likely, Syrian surprise chemical attack maybe. But Hizb'allah? Let me ask you a series of questions, lets say Hizb'allah launches all 40,000 rockets into Israel? It causes huge amounts of damage but most of the Israeli population survives due to the fact that bomb shelters are ubiquitous in this country. What could Lebanon or Hizb'allah do if Israel said we are going to knockdown every single building in Lebanon and leaving nothing behind. Basically Afghanize the country? What could you do against that? "3- Hizbullah twisted Israel's arms many many times, including the latest deals regarding prisoner exchange- Two dead israeli soldiers, israel crying for weeks, against the release of a prisoner like Samir Al Kuntar, Lebanon joyous for months! " First you again fail to understand the cultural aspect that the families of those captured/killed put ENORMOUS pressure on the gov't. You also fail to recognize that Olmert was an incredibly weak PM with no capacity to withstand any kind of pressure (Sadly Netanyahu is following this path). This is why he Kuntar was released, a different PM would have made a massive difference and the fact that you don't understand a democratic society and its mechanization is quite disturbing. Secondly and whats even more disturbing is that Lebanon and I assume you celebrated the release of a monster like Kuntar. This man is a full fledged child killer, and there are simply no words for how disgusting, grotesque, barbaric, and how deserving Lebanon is of stereotyping for it's celebration of this monsters release. I don't know how you can consider someone human or even deserving of the most basic human interactions if they celebrate such a release. " Israel is unable to stop Hizbullah," Exactly! Thats why since the 2nd Lebanon war Hizb'allah has regularly invaded Israel and done as it pleased in this country... oh wait. "Remember Al Mabhouh?" He was a weapons smuggler and someone who had killed Israeli's beforehand. Hariri may not have been pro-Israel, but he hated Syria and Hizb'allah and definitely had the power to unite Lebanon against the two. Why would Israel kill someone so effective at fighting it's enemies, it's completely illogical. So what was the evidence that Nasrallah presented? A drone photo? You do realize that in the 2nd Lebanon war Hizb'allah had sent a drone filled with explosives to attack Israel but was shot down by the airforce. Have you entertained the thought that this drone could have been Hizb'allah's own? Whoops logic went out the window with that one....
66. Poor Nasrallah
Dorothy Neema ,   Nairobi, kenya   (08.10.10)
Israel, never argue with a fool people might not notice the deference.
67. ARGUMENTS of #25 WERE PULVERIZED
Afonso ,   BRAZIL   (08.10.10)
Thanks for all those who replied to #25. It is good to see all his arguments so well demolished with elegancy and style. Congratulations.
68. to those who doubt Nasrallah
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (08.10.10)
The fact is that Syria murdered Hariri, not Hezbolla not Israel. That is why Bush imposed sanctions on Syria. Blinded by his hatred for Jews, Obama instructed the investigating team to clear Syria and blame Hezbolla for the murder. Obama was hoping that Syria would abandon their alliance with Iran. So Nasrallah countered Obama's bald-face lie with one of his own, it costs nothing and will eventually be accepted by everyone in Lebanon who doesn't want to be murdered by Assad.
69. #25 is spot on. Logic and Evidence say Israel is behind it
WikiMiki   (08.10.10)
By assassinating Hariri and using the U.S./U.N. to immediately blame Syria and Hizbollah it thought it would shut down Hizbollah and force it out of Lebanon. It forced Syria out but not Hizbollah. It backfired just like the Mabhouh killing did.
70. Oh No Nasrallah?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (08.10.10)
Like some inanimate lump of blubber - he blubbers along thinking he can con the world into believing anything he says And like some inanimate lump of blubber he is of no use to the Lebanese no use to the region and above all no use to Palestinians In fact that interfering mentally twisted toad is the last person Palestinians want to champion the cause
71. Whats the difference

Whats the difference? Abducted… Arrested…. The guy is a SPY….
72. Hizbollah wants a war with Israel & uses google earth pictur
zionist forever   (08.10.10)
I don't know the full facts behind the story of this ambushing but I find it very hard to believe that Hizbollah were sitting in waiting for weeks. More likely the commandos either got very unlucky or they made a mistake which alerted Hizbollah. The map picture looks more like Google Earth with a a red circle drawn on it. If this stuff is taken from an Israeli UAV 12 years ago why do they still have it? As for Hariri very convenient that just days after the shooting which left 4 Lebanese soldiers dead suddenly after all this time Hizbollah have discovered it was Israel behind the Hariri killing. Which shows that HIzbollah & Syria were framed because Israel wanted to drive Syria out of Lebanon. More like Nassralah is trying to drum up support for a war against Israel and to try get the Lebanese army to stand side by side Hizbollah out of patriotism to Lebanon.

zionist forever   (08.10.10)
Ihab If I were you I would start looking for a bomb shelter. Nasrallah is trying to provoke another war. Be warned though because of the Lebanese government support for Hizbollah the Israeli government have said this time round all of Lebanon is fair game to the IDF. So find yourself a place to hide unless you want to risk being on the receiving end of an Israeli bomb which was dropped because Nasrallah drew Lebanon into another war. Olmerts not running the show anymore so don't expect any attempts at going careful careful it will be gloves off and when its all over the biggest losers will be the Lebanese people.
74. #72,73 Nicely put, zf.

You clearly destroyed all the weak and bias points. Revealing the tunnel vision used by the Nasrallah supporters, Great Job!!!
76. 73. Nasrallah is Lebanon
Ihab   (08.11.10)
1- Nasrallah is lebanon. As a citizen, and trust me, I am ready to sacrifice my family and myself- and i mean it- for nasrallah. It might look as a totalitarian approach or brain wash. It does not matter. The consequence is the same. 2- The shelter is ready, and your bombs are not new. Question: are you ready for the missiles on the other end? In 2006, 100,000 Israeli went back to the diaspora. It might take long time to kick you back to where you belong, but we have started at least as of 2006 3- Imagine the following : A nuclear Iran. Do you know that currently Iran with its 2000 pounds of uranium can create and shoot against Israel a "dirty bomb" [google it, very interesting] 4- For you to understand , in 2006, there was 1.5 M israeli in the shelter. That is when Nasrallah was 30% of what he is today. While in Lebanon were carrying their daily lives even under harder circumstances 5- Olmert, Bibi, Barak, etc... Yet, it is the same army yeah? By the way, I have seen on TV an operation for the Lebanese resistance where the wounded IDF soldiers were screaming like women. 6- Final word, Zionist Forever. it is a pity that our mosque tops your temple? right? dare you to touch it. Final word, once in Liberated Palestine, any suggestion where to reside?
77. #73: Where to reside in Israel
Canadian Dude ,   Montreal, Canada   (08.17.10)
Why, you can live in the prisons, of course. Israel will always belong to the Jews, and no amount of force will ever be enough to take it away from them. Best you can do is sacrifice a billion Muslims to kill a few million Jews, and that still won't bring Israel or its supporters down (rather, they'll have ample new lands to colonize). I beg you, please make it happen, better we get this done sooner rather than later.
