1. you are born with it, nothing will change it !
Salma ,   Palestine   (08.10.10)
Whatever "Israel" tried to claim they want peace, their behavior on the ground say just the opposite . shame on you!
2. Why is it OK in the view of some to expel Jewish settlers
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (08.10.10)
from state-owned land, yet Muslim-Arabs should be permitted to take over more and more state-owned territory and settle on it...?? These people are law breakers!! Any European or North American country/state/province would arrest such people for a long time for continuing breaking the law and for all practical purposes stilling land from the rest of Israel's population. Yet, when it comes to the nation-state of the Jewish people, some people abroad feel, the application of law should only be a recommendation, to accept or not to accept. This attitude is simply unacceptable by us, Israelis!!
3. Demonstration at Lehavim Junction
amazona ,   Israel Beersheva   (08.10.10)
I was standing in the front line of the demo - the 3 people arrested were minding their own businessa nd not violent. One of the policemen got bored, or irritated and simply declared that they were under arrest. Arbitrary arrest on trumped up charges. Israek's finest?
4. Instaed of demolishing
(08.10.10)
villages which exist since decades Israel should prevent new "settlements" stealing illegally occupied Palestinian land. Bu tnothing less to be expected by a pseudo-democratic state.
5. BedouinS HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BUILD ANYWHERE THEY WANT IN !
Ehud ,   Isratine   (08.10.10)
ISRATINE! STOP HARASSING THEM NETANYAHU!!!!
6. "Stolen" land???
Leah ,   Beersheva   (08.10.10)
The land IS set aside for Beduins - as PASTURE. Take a look around the south, the traditional Bedoin lifestyle is being driven out my McMansions and development on AGRICULTURAL land. The Israel Land Authority is acting on behalf of those Bedoins whose grazing (and therefore livlihood) has been unlawfully disrupted by leftists trying to make a stink (oh, I mean Bedoins who wanna live on other people's grazing pastures). People who are not living a traditional life (e.g. herding) have no right to live on pasture lands and drive those who are off!
7. More bothered about Jewish homes & villages destroyed
BM   (08.10.10)
8. The law can't be revocated
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (08.10.10)
For all these who shout racism racism... We all saw what the French government did to the gypsy (Rom) in Paris a couple of weeks ago in Paris. In every good democratic state, the law is the real sovereign, if you build illegally this will be the result, it's the same as the demolishing in East Jerusalem.
9. Why beduins deserve it
Ivan ,   Haifa   (08.10.10)
They join the army supporting the demolishion of palestinian homes... they are the most anti palestinian in the IDF...
10. #5 - No they don't. NO ONE has that right!
William ,   Israel   (08.10.10)
In every country, land is zoned for certain purposes. One cannot simply build where ever the hell they feel like it. Not in Germany, not in Iraq, not in China, and not in Israel. Get over it. The law is the law - and if they continue to break it, they will continue to see this happen. BTW - there is NO 1 State solution, there is no "Isratine"...nor was there really a State called "Palestine". Go sell your woefully myopic ideologies in Madrid.
11. #4 - This village DID NOT exist before 1948
William ,   Israel   (08.10.10)
Bedouins are nomadic and did not have set villages for decades as you claim. They protested heavily when Israel built cities for them, like Rahat, because they said it interfered with their lifestyle. Tough luck on you. Today, Israeli laws, which have been on the books for decades, are the law of the land. What would you say if an industrial park was built in your backyard, or a farmer lost his land due to residential sprawl?? You're so lame, you couldn't even post your name.
12. #9 - even war heroes go to jail if they break the law
William ,   Israel   (08.10.10)
Are you saying that a separate law should be made for people in the army vs. those who do not serve? That seems pretty discriminatory to me. Even the most decorated soldier will be jailed if they break the law, be it stealing a credit card or building illegally on agriculture-zoned land.
